Hi, My customer has been bought by another company so their company name is changed now. What’s the process to go about getting the urls and environment identifiers for all customer environments changed to the new company name?  Appreciate any guidance please.Thanks.Regards,Sham

On a work order, I created a Requisition for a Part Line.I converted the requisition to a Purchase Order.I received the Purchase Order.The material was received into inventory and shows reserved against the work order.How do I get it issued to the work order?

I have created a quick report in IFS. I need to display the updated records as well as the old records of Vendor bank details on the same report.Currently, the History Log only show the meta data but not the actual changed value. And If I run payment table, it only shows changed value.Is there any way I can display the actual changes and the old value?Is there any table/db that holds the original data?

Hi, I’m looking for a way to check price freeze automatically on customer order lines in Apps 10. Is there a way to set the default value as selected in a base profile or somewhere else? Worst case scenario, I guess we could create some kind of event to check the box when the order is released. Any help is appreciated.Mike

Dear Friends, We have created a sample inbound request web service (Synchronous) to test with Boomi. IFS Version = 8Request = String like “My Request”Response = String like “Your Response” While testing in Boomi or Postman, we are not getting the above designed response but getting the default response i.e. “Message 2.2365227E7 is posted to IN1”. Also we have tried the suggestions of this thread “Tip: Using POSTMAN to test IFS Webservices”Thanks in advance for your solution and suggestions. Regards,Sanjay

Question was raised by one of the customers regarding the following. Customer has ordered 6 of a part for a project.Accidently they receive 12 into project inventory.The mistaken 6 received were counted out and not done as a cancelled receipt.The project still think there are 6 more to ship or deal with yet they aren’t there. How can we close this activity and remove it from the Unfinished Activity work. 

Hi all,For customer masterdata it's possible to fill in an expire date on the order tab. When entering a Customer Order you will get an error message that the customer is expired. However when entering a Sales Quotation for the same customer no error message appears .Is there a possibility for a expire date for the quotation as well?thx !Regards,Martin Broekman 

Hello We are using Employee File → Employment → Free Fields to define some employment details of the employee.We noticed that after we use the “Terminate Employment” system automatically changes “Valid To” date for all the “Free Fields” to the date that we initially selected as “Notification Date” and “Employment End Date” in the assistant. We tried removing (disabling) the “Free Fields Valid To Date” from the “HR Assistant Configuration”, but still the “Valid To” dates to all “Free Fields” are being updated. Is it possible to turn of the processing of the “Free Fields” when “Terminate Employment” is used?

However, all examples are based on views and AIL.When a Crystal report is created using Command . How could I add the alias? When I create a crystal report using Command, do I need to apply an alias?Is it possible to apply the alias if the answer is yes? Fig 1. The report runs correctly in Crystal report designer. However, I am prompted for authentication when I try to run it from IFS.    The screenshot below shows how the prompt looks when I run the report from the Crystal report designer when I followed all the rules for IFS_WEB_USER_    Thanks,JL

Hi, On a service order, we would like to have only one PDF report for the SVReport (+ checklist, signature+picure) and for the invoice (paymentsummary).The customer purpose is to have on 1 document the amount of the invoice and all data related to this amount (labor, service, expense, etc..) . His invoice verification is easier. What could be the best way to do that “global report” ?Could we try to modify the payment summary report in order to add data from the SVreport ?Could we try to modify the SVreport in order to add data from the payment summary  ?other way ?Did you already done a report like that for a customer ? Thanks and Regards for your advicesanthony

I need to do a select statement that calls a number of API’s that are not available under the schema that I am logged in under. Basically I have a select that selects from tables and views that I have access to under the login I am using (IFSINFO). But there are some lines that call API’s that are only available under a different login (IFSAPP).If I comment out the lines that call these API’s the select works fine. But if I leave one of them uncommented the select brings back nothing. I have tried logging in as IFSAPP and granting Execute on user IFSINFO to those packages but when I log back in as IFSINFO the select comes back with no rows. It doesn’t give an insufficient privilege error.I am thinking that the API selects from tables/views that IFSINFO does not have the select rights on. Is there a way that execute can be granted to IFSINFO on an API (and at the same time grant privileges' on whatever views or tables that are referenced in that API)?

Hello all, I am attempting to resolve an issue related to MRB cases for a single part. Currently, we have an MRB Inventory Location that material is moved to prior to the creation of an MRB Case. The issue I have is that in multiple instances, the same parts may require two MRB cases for nonconformance is. Below is an example of the process.: 100 parts moved to MRB location (PN 12345)50 of the 100 are related to nonconformance - Feature Size50 of the 100 are related to nonconformance - Surface Contamination Today, I can only create one MRB case for the entire 100. I must then make notes in the case to outline that there are actually two different reasons for containment of the parts. This also lead to labeling confusion as which parts have the specific nonconformance. Ideally, if you could simply create two MRB cases, one for each nonconformance, this would allow for correct labeling and management of the disposition for each group of 50 parts. Hello all, Is it possible in IFS (10) to have the Lot Size of a shop order increase in the event that the reported qty from Shop Floor Workbench exceeds the original Lot Size amount? Often times we over run a coil fed job, which will result in the original Lot Size not matching the actual reported qty (Lot Size - 1000, actual completed qty 1230). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, We have made some customizations for APPS10 using the IFS Developer Studio, and can deploy these without error to our development environment, using the Developer Studio’s built-in Deploy logic. Now when we would want to deploy a delivery to a test environment, we have tried to follow the following steps of Creating a delivery: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/020_installation/030_patching_system/010_preparing_delivery/Everything else seems clear in these instructions, but we don’t understand the following step: Fetch the deploy.ini files for the components in the delivery and include them among the other files. The deploy.ini file should be placed on the top level for each component. From where is this deploy.ini file supposed to be fetched or generated? Or should we be able to manually write such a file for each component that has been customized? 

When I try and export a report from the export module in Alliance is says that it can not find the file or there is no excel registered.  Well Excel is open.  I have tried multiple files and it still doenst work.  Any ideas?  

Hi, we are trying to install IFS Cloud as a remote deployment option. We have 2 servers Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows Server 2019. The Windows server has a oracle database installed with a dump from customer’s APPS8 environment, and all the artifacts downloaded from Lifecycle experience.  When running the main.ps1 script, we are running into some connection errors for the Ubuntu server:If we leave the ManagementServerIP in main_config.json empty, the main.ps1 returns following errors during execution:  Error: Kubernetes cluster unreachable: Get "https://<server_ip>:16443/version?timeout=32s": dial tcp <server_ip>:16443: connectex: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. If we give the Windows Server IP in the main_config.json, the main.ps1 execution finished without error, but afterwards all kubectl commands return the following error (

Hi,I am looking for information about the hierarchy between ex. inventory part and supplier for purchase part, which is the top level in regards to data structure.For example, it is possible on the supplier for purchase part, to setup "min order qty", and on the inventory part a "min lot size", this is the same: the minimal that can be purchased?Since the inventory part cannot be blank, and it seems this number is used in the MRP, then when is the number from the supplier for purchase part used?The same for lead time, lead time can be se up on different levels, but which controls in the end the MRP.Looking for info exactly which fields are used in the MRP and which can override each other? BRAnders
