Two part question:Does anyone know what happens when you reach the end of the end value of Invoice Number Series? Does it go back to the start value after reaching the end like an odometer? What is the character max for the end value? thank you

In astea v15.3.0.4 we have for each employee a default return warehouse.If a field engineer uses material on mobile he sends the returned material to his default return warehouse, this warehouse is automically selected.We have a field team in 2 countries, an for each country we have a Workshop warehouse.In the return process on mobile a repair order for the returned material is created.In Workflow (Repair) we can only define 1 default action group, so all repair orders end up in the same action group, but in operations we need 2 action groups, 1 per country as each country has his own workshop warehouse.Is there a possibility to configure a different action group for repair orders depending on the return warehouse or on the employee or node ?

In Astea 15.3.0.4 the contract No is a mandatory field when creating a new customer Support order.When we create a NEW Customer Support Orders outside the Coverage Shedule we get this messageSelecting YES or NO results in a correctly new order with the contract and the calculated SLA times as configured in that contract.But when we select CANCEL, the customer Support Order is created without a contract as mentionned in the errro message but not as configured with the Contract No being mandatory.Can we adapt the message and only have the YES or NO option ?We do not allow how the Cancel functionally is actually designed, all order need to have a contract.

Hi,One of our customers is experiencing an issue. MRP is creating purchase requisitions without any lines (part or no part), so only the purchase requisitions header. But, this is ad-hoc (this happens occasionally).Is there a way that MRP can create purchase requisitions without any lines ?I have checked whether there is any custom task to delete the PR lines of certain parts, but there’s no. Thank you,

The issues occurs when a Work order is transferred to mobile from IEE , It creates 2 work assignments instead of the one . This  happens even when a resource is allocated initially and a work assignment is created and when its transferred to mobile it automatically creates a another work assignment . The issue is only present for a single resource group in the customer environment and from this resource group one user is not effected with the mentioned issue .Below is the test plan for the following issue :Create Work order  Add a Work task Add resource and create work assignmentTransfer work task to mobile As you can see here, after transferring the work task to mobile , another work assignment is created . There the initial work assignment of 8hr is split into two 4hr work assignments Initially the maintenance  team has checked the basic data and has verified that they are correct. And during investigation I have checked the Mobile_work_Order_API.Generate_Wo_To_Mobile function which

Hi everyone i have this issue ,i create a custom page in IEE for a Custom Logical Unit Then i need to view the page in Aurena for do this i was creating a new project Configuration  like this then i create  the page configuration   for this projection for can view the page  But in the page designer when i try to create a new Content (List) for can set the field the Values comes Empty  Maybe i missing something, but i dont know what?  thanks for the help… Regards 

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to configure the IFS client to automatically login with a supplied user account and password?  Currently, we have around 80 shop floor terminals across our manufacturing facilities. An issue I’ve seen is that in the event of a power outage, all of the SF terminals at the Site must be manually logged back in. I have been able to automate up to the point where I have the PCs automatically login to the Windows environment and launch IFS, but I have not been able to figure out how to pass credentials through and execute the actual login. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi all,We would like to view on a Map, all the Functional and Serial Objects, and their operational status for instance. The environment is IFS Cloud 21R2.We set up the GIS Map with a base map and a layer pointing to the LU for these IFS business objects.We can see the layers on the Map but no “dot” for the IFS business objects, even though these objects have a Map position linked to them.Are the IFS Objects with their Map position not enough by themselves to be displayed on the GIS Map ?Is there antoher required setting ?Kind regardsLénaïc

Going from 12.5 to 15.2, we find that we have an issue if two SAs are allocated to the same order. In 12.5, the SA could close the order as long as his/her activities were fullfilled.In 15.2 we find that the SA can not close the order until both SAs have completed activities. How do we allow for this?We do not wish to allow an SA to have several orders open at the same time.

Hey all,We are using an external file template (a copy of STDSIN) to import posted and authorized manual supplier invoices into IFS. This has been working for over a year for freight bills.Now I am working on a second manual supplier invoice import where the payment reference (NCF_REFERENCE field of MAN_SUPP_INVOICE) and TEXT field of posting lines have spaces in them. Invoice creation into a “PostedAuth” state works fine, but all the spaces are being removed from the NCF_REFERENCE and TEXT fields.This happens whether I use text delimiters in my external file or not. So, an NCF_REFERENCE ofWeek Ending April 1becomesWeekEndingApril1This is not acceptable because we are using the NCF_REFERENCE to match exactly to expense report name (expense software is separate from IFS). I have an order report. I can print the report in english or korean by selecing language in language drop down in Print Report Dialog box. By default the language is english. Is it possible to set default language to korean?

Under the column Calendar days, the help states “This column shows the number of working days per planning period.”  The system is using this number to plan New Operations Plan/Calendar=Operations Plan Daily Rate. So I we have a new plan for 60,000 and the calendar days is 20, 60,000/20=3,000. But this is accurate since this month may have holidays or shutdowns. How can we ensure that the Operations Daily Rate is accurate?New Operations Plan-This column is used to enter the proposed operations plan.Operations Plan Daily Rate-The daily rate of the operations plan.Calendar Days-This column shows the number of working days per planning period. 

Can anybody shed some light on this? Say, our system goes down and a dedicated team from IFS works on this. The ticket owners change with time right? That’s totally alright. How can we find an escalation point of contact for the specific issue? We do understand that there can be delays. But it would be nice to have this contact. Is there an oracle/ifs api or function that I can invoke to get the client facing error message that I see in IFS when there is a soft error? For example when the user tries to report on a shop order operation that is closed, the IFS client will show an error message that states         “Operation is closed. Hi All,There is a requirement to Extract roster/shift data from PSO and update the FSM shift table.(Roster must be planned in PSO. If roster is planned in PSO, shift data will be limited to PSO. But there is requirement that shift data must be available in FSM side)For this, I have tried to use the existing methods in ThreesixtyIntegrationmanager and Threesixty communicationmanager.(These classes provide the PSO connection, token authorization and etc).But as per my knowledge, I couldn’t find any relevant methods for the above functionality from the above mentioned classes. Is there a way to achieve this using the existing methods?If not, what are the alternate ways to get them? Use Restful API?Are there any example codes that I can refer about how to establish the connection to PSO using Restful API? Hello.We have an issue on our DOP structure’s due dates.In our example, a DOP header has a Start date at 27/05/2022 and, when the structure has the statut “created”, every lines of it has a Due date at the same date of 27/05/2022. After that, we release the DOP structure .In standard, the DOP order due dates of WINCH-T40 and B-MODULE-BOIS are 27/05/22. However, in the shop order the required dates of these components are 02/06/22 because they are called on the second operation of the shop order This impacts the dates of shop orders and purchase orders of components managed in DOP (or MRP/DOP)This does not impact the dates of shop orders and purchase orders of components managed in MRP because the MRP component need is triggered by the shop order (however if the MRP component is below a SF component managed in DOP, as the SF date is wrong the component date is wrong). Have you allready encounter this issue ? and have you a way to avoid it ?

Hi, Our company policy prevent us from downloading from Microsoft Store which means that we cannot make use of Microsoft Azure Vpn Client. Can the Cloud Build Place be setup to use OpenVpn instead?I think it is possible in Azure to setup so that OpenVpn certificates can be used and not only certificates for MS Azure Vpn Client. So is it possible for us to request that our Cloud Build Place is setup in a way so that the vpn profile that can be downloaded from IFS Lifecycle includes settings to connect using OpenVpn?Or is there any other way of accessing Cloud databases and Git repositories from a development desktop without MS Azure Vpn Client?

Hello IFS Community, Is there a way to add a “WHERE” clause to a LOV?The Marketing group want to add more Maket Code to the Markets basic data and disable other. The basic data cannot be remove (Black blocks) See screenshot 1.Screenshot 1.When the IFS user click on Market and LOV. We would not like  to display the values with black blocks. See Screenshot 2. Is there a way to add a WHERE clause to only select the right values? I would like to do this without creating templates  or Save Searches Queries. Will be possible to add to the code below a WHERE clause?  Thanks,JL
