Dear experts,From June 2021 onwards, there was a difference between the Goods received Not yet invoiced (GRNI) report for the inventory part and the GRNI-Inventory part Account .    GL Balance    25,379.35 GRNI Report    24,319.75 Difference      1,059.60  The reason for this difference was the below voucher.    Could anyone of you suggest the possible reasons for this issue and the way to resolve it? Thanks in advance. 

I have a user requesting that we make it so that there can’t be duplicate serial numbers in IFS where there are different part numbers. As far as I can tell, this seems to be a feature of IFS. Is my thinking on this correct? We have a few cases with duplicate serial numbers but different part numbers associated with each. 

I am trying to set up scheduled SQL backups of the IFS databases, however I get an error saying “Agent XPs Component is Turned Off as Part of the Security Configuration for this Server”. I understand how to enable the Agent XP component, but wanted to check that this hasn't been turned of deliberately as part of the IFS installation? 

I am trying to figure out what creates database triggers?  I know Events creates triggers (ending in _EVU, _EVD, _EVI) but I need to know what creates triggers ending in (_TRK_D, _TRK_U, _TRK_I)?    

Cause is a lookup field on service order:But as a search field in QBE it is a text fieldBut searching does not work (with or without wildcards) - about 20 orders have “Andet” as Cause: I would expect this to behave like Problem Code - also a drop down field where multiple values can be selected

Hi,I’m trying to preview excel attachments in cloud 21R2 but could not see the preview icon on the attachment pane for excel attachments. for pdf’s it shows and i can preview. Aurena agent also installed but the issue remains the same.Can someone tell me how to enable it? Please see the screen shot below. HIghligted in yellow the preview icon for pdf’s. But cannot see it against excel documents.ThanksRoshanga

Is there a way to allow a user to enter a Document Number (or revision number) when they they are creating a new document in Apps 10 Aurena via the “Create New” button? On the “Document Default Values” screen, there is a setting called “ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM”. The help system states…This value determines the dialog that will be opened when the New button in the Documents Attachment panel is clicked. Possible values are Create Document Assistant, Create New Document and Create Documents.  We set this to “Create Document Assistant” and this had the expected effect in EE. When we click the “Create New” button in the attachments panel of EE, the “Create Document Assistant” opens and allows the user to specify full details for the document they are creating (e.g. Doc Class, Doc Number, Revision Number, Format, Title, etc.)However, this setting doesn't seem to have any effect in Aurena at all. Trying to develop data sources for Lobby elements to use for day to day business management. I am trying to ascertain the next awaiting step in the approval process for a purchase requisition line so my data source so need the minimum step ID where the Signature field is null. See snapshot below; essentially my SQL will look like;SELECT COLUMNS, MIN(ROUTE)FROM &AO.PURCH_REQ_LINE_APPROVALWHERE SIGNATURE_ID IS NULLGROUP BY COLUMNS:as per the image above the aggregate function appears to not be working as there are multiple steps (Route column) still displayed, IE 10, 20 and 30. whereas there should only be the minimum route number displayed.what am i missing…... 

I am just getting into IFS and I am wondering if there is a way to make the default sort for users on specific pages/tables like Inventory Transaction History set to newest to oldest. Currently it shows the olded data at the top which isn’t really useful. If I could set it to default with the newest data at the top it would be ideal.  Thanks!

In previous versions RMB option Copy/Paste function was available, in document attachment plugin where the user copies a bunch of document references from one object to another. But in APP10 version it is not available.

Why am I not seeing the capacity on the Manufacturing Visualizer using the Labor Operation Load in Standard Hours, it shows the team Available Capacity.  I believe it used to, not sure why I’m not seeing it.  The work center has daily capacity in the time frame I’m looking.  I have also tried it for another business that is machine drive and it doesn’t show for Machine Operation Load in Standard Hours.  I have capacity in all workcenters.  

Hi all, I am new to the cost calculations in IFS, and I am hoping for some guidance. Essentially, i would like to input “projected” purchase part costs to see the impact it would have on the manufactured component. I am trying to use Cost Set 3 (latest purchase price) to input a new value. I was reviewing the Cost Set Est Mtrl Cost field and assumed I could use that to set a new projected cost of the purchase part. However, when I set that value and run cost calculations I do not see the new value. As an example, the purchase part current cost is $.50. I would like to simulate the cost going to $2.00I am unsure how to update Cost Set 3 to reflect the esteemed mtrl cost of $2. I believe this would also help when using the Estimating module. If I can build an estimate using the project purchase part cost, this would allow for more accurate cost Estimating for future work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Currently, when we transition a Buyer or Planner out, a Find and Replace is done to locate and update all PP, IP, Supplier records with the new individual. I thought in IFS Apps 10, there was a way to perform a mass change to a new Buyer/Planner. However, I have not been able to find anything in the help section. Does this functionality currently exist? Thank you!

Hi, I don’t know of any other method of reporting troubles with Developer Studio (and I did not find my issues among existing cases), so here they are for anyone responsible for doing something about the issues: one annoyance and two bugs.Deploying an entity or plsql code the first time after opening the program seeming do something, but nothing is being deployed. From the second time it’s ok. Regarding the OG extension: The naming of replication files are wrong:  However, when deploying, the right names are being used: <LU>RSP-Cust.plsql and <LU>RRP-Cust.plsql. Quite confusing until you find out what’s wrong. When the top folder is in lower case and upper case is being for the source sub-directories:    the integration with Subversion works only halfway now.
