Creating a Database Task using a custom API

Hello IFS community, I created a custom API using the following information:module_ CONSTANT VARCHAR2(25) := 'EJUANL';lu_name_ CONSTANT VARCHAR2(25) := 'ZPURCHARSEAPI';lu_prompt_ CONSTANT VARCHAR2(25) := 'ZPURCHARSEAPI';When I try to create a database task, I am only able to see the name “eJUAN Sol”. I do not have (+) symbol displaying the custom API (see example below highlighted in yellow). What do I need to do to make all the procedures and functions in my custom API available to create a task?FYI - I already refreshed the cache.I was expecting to find something like the custom API => eNYNC Solutions, where I can click on (+) and see all the procedures and functions. Access History Log from Custom Event

Hello,I have an idea for creating a custom note on an LU and populating it with history log data.BUSINESS NEED: We want to log the changes of certain fields on Purchase Orders, and want that information to be assembled in a note that can be attached to the Purchase Order. We do not want to use the Purchase Order note for this, we want a special field (so will add it as a Custom Attribute of the PurchaseOrder LU). ELEGANT PATH: Use History Log to store changes to the Purchase Order for just the fields we want. Then add a Custom Event to the PurchaseOrder LU, “after” save, linked to a PL/SQL Action that grabs History Log data related to a recent time-frame, the current purchase order, and the current user. Append new History Log information to the custom note we added in Step 1. CHALLENGE: Timing and avoiding redundant data. Does IFS write data to the History Log, synchronously and completely, before an “after” Custom Event fires for the LU? How can we determine what changes just occurre

Retrieve the selected value in field

Hello, I would like to create a custom menu in the "Employee Objectives and Activities" screen and I would like to retrieve the selected value of the "Performance period" field: Indeed, in the "System info" tab, there are not many elements allowing me to retrieve this value ..:In the PL / SQL code, I tried to fill in: &cmbPerformancePeriod, &labelPerformancePeriod ..But it doesn't work, I get an error. Currency Rate Updation in PO

Hi Team,I have raised a PO against an US supplier and set currency as INR on PO Header level since I will be paying the supplier in INR.Now the total amount is calculated as per the Rate defined by me in Currency Rates window.Now the scenario is after the PO is confirmed and when we register arrival, the currency rate needs to be updated as per the new rate.How to update existing currency rate in a PO which is in “Confirmed” status?Note: I am using Apps 10

EXCEPTION Message: in Mobile Error Log

I’ve noticed alot of users triggering the following error in our mobile error run log It states: Error: EXCEPTION Message: Person ID passed in is not valid or is not a mobile user. ... Automatic printed invoice not accessible

Hi,Whenever we create project invoice, it seems that IFS generates a PDF that is automatically attached to the invoice object. But we do not understand where this functionality has been set up… In the past, we were generating documents in Database repository, and this functionality described above was working fine. Then we switched to FTP repository and since then, it became impossible to retrieve invoices atached automatically after the date of implementation of the ftp (past invoice are still accessible). It seems that IFS keeps creating the invoice in the DataBase, but tries to retrieve them from the FTP, so we get an error message saying the document does not exist on the FTP.Does anyone face such issues? or know where all of that is set up ?NB: We do not mind to keep our invoices in the database instead of FTP, but all the other documents must be on FTP due to size issues.Thanks in advance for your hep !

Attach a Document to multiple Logical Units/Objects

We are in Apps 10 UPD 10. Our Accounts payable team is currently manually attaching a document with Document class ‘Payment’ to the Manual Supplier Invoice screen for a Supplier / Invoice, so they have a copy of the supplier invoice to refer to on that screen. They would like the same document to also be attached (automatically if possible) to the Supplier Invoices Analysis screen for that Supplier / Invoice.I thought this was done via Document Object Connection or Object Connection Transformation but I have not figured out how. Hint please? Thanks

Cancel Manual Voucher / External Voucher

Hello, Does anyone know of a way to cancel a Manual Voucher? Or if someone uploaded an external voucher to the GL that is not approved yet? I see no way of doing so, short of posting it and creating a reversal voucher, or in the case of a manual voucher, deleting all rows except 2 lines and doing a debit/credit to the same account/cost center. Just wanted to see if anyone had a trick for this. In version 9 they introduced this “Cancelled” status but doesn’t look like we can set a voucher to that. Thanks!

Creating a Checkbox Custom Field

Hi everyone,I’m trying to create a persistent custom field checkbox (boolean) to be used for a report layout. for some reason I cannot finish the final step of adding the custom enumeration. The view does not show anything and the search is also disabled. Following the documentation, I should be able to add our custom enumeration from here. Other formats such as Normal and Multi work fine, but boolean does not. Is there something I’m missing to proceed?

I am trying to figure out the connections between the manual supplier invoice and the payment method but cannot figure out where/how the payment method and payment address information is saved for each supplier invoice. Can anyone help? thanks

Delete service orders history older than xx years

We want to delete Service Order Histroy that are older then 2 year to clean up the data with GDPR Information. I have an API with a delete action on service order history, but this only delete records from c_order_line, c_order_comp, c_order_env, c_service_call and c_service_call_env.But all demand records that are attached to that service order are not deleted. Is there a simple way to delete service order history with all the demands that are attached to that order. For the record, we on version 15.1 and we testing on our UAT envoirement.. Greetz,Robin

Is the Execution Time used for anything on PM Actions in Apps 10? I understand the use of the duration which is at the work task level. Since the introduction of duration on work tasks in Apps 10, what functionality does the execution time provide in IFS Applications 10?

Logging users out of IFS after 12 hours of inactivity

Is anyone aware of a routine that will log users out of IFS after a period of inactivity i.e. 12 hours? Picking location priority

In reviewing the Rules for Shop Order Backflush help doc, it shows the order of priority in the various methods, however one of the lines states: if the part’s manufacturing attributes allow backflush from All Locations, then all Picking locations are searched. The question is, in what order are picking locations searched? When I have multiple locations which have a part to be backflushed in the needed quantity how can I predict the location from which inventory will be consumed? The same question exists for floor stock.

Cannot connect to Notify Me 10(RTM) with Azure AD

Customer is getting the “Something went wrong. Check your TAs URL ” Error when tried to login with Azure AD with notify me 10(RTM) AppAdditional INFO:Customer is in apps 10 UPD8 and the Notify Me Cloud Resource is 1.0.3.0. We can confirm that the TAS configurations are fine because Trip tracker 10(RTM) app is working fine in the same environment. And this error is only for iOS(android works fine).I have attached the AD redirect URI’s in azure it seems also fine.Please kindly provide us your comments on this./Subash Perera

Not possible to drag and drop lobby elements

Hi,When adding a new lobby element it always end up in a new green box, which I can not move, neither can I move the lobby element to another green box with empty space. Earlier this has worked just fine. My colleagues with the same permission sets can do it. I do not get the green arrow which indicates that the element is movable to appear.Does anyone know how to fix this?Thank you in advance!/Kerstin

Does History Log work in Aurena?

Hello,In IEE (up to version IFS10 update 11) there is the option to configure History Logging. I can't find anything in Aurena (same 10.11 installation) about this subject, besides a projection with the name HistoryLogRep which is a report.Did I look at the wrong place (in navigator I used History Log, History) and didn't find anything on the subject.Will it be in IFS21R1 or higher?
