IFS10 UPD8When opening a dialog for the first time after a deployment, dialog “checking for download location” appears and in some cases stays there without moving 2-3 minutes.We’ve already been in contact with IFS and Microsoft. No outcome.I’ve seen the same problem at another IFS customer. Does anyone have a solution?

We are currently running FSM 6u6 on SQL Server 2017 and are in the process of upgrading to FSM 6u15 on the same SQL Server 2017. I’ve realized that during previous upgrades (during which we upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2017) we didn’t update the Compatibility Level of the database storing FSM data.Currently the Compatibility Level of the database holding FSM data is set to level 100 - is there any reason not to update the Compatibility Level of that database to 140? We’d like to take advantage of newer functions for reporting, and I’m hoping the new cardinality estimator and adaptive query processing feature will speed up performance at least for reports.If anyone has any experience with this I’d appreciate advice as I’m not a DBA

In Apps9 when working with the Consolidation Period Balance Analysis one of our users is asking if the ‘Account’ field can be enabled with a ‘Sum’ option. Currently it has ‘Group’ and ‘Sum’ available. Other fields within the same menu have ‘Group’, ‘Sum’, ‘Avg’, ‘Highest’, ‘Lowest’ and ‘Count’.  Does anyone know if the ‘Sum’ option is available for the ‘Account’ field and if so how to enable it?Thank you  

I am looking to see if there is a field that will allow us to determine how low the safety stock can get before MRP will issue a req to replenish. For example, if we set the safety stock at 100, do we not want a req to generate for 1 pc every time we dip down to 99. Instead, let’s say that we only want safety stock to replenish when it falls below 50 pcs. Is there a field where we can tell IFS to wait until we are at 50% of safety stock before replenishing? We want to move away from lot size and reorder points on planning method “C” and move to safety stock on planning method “G” but are looking to solve this issue first. I see that there is a field for “Service Rate” - would this perform the function I am seeking? If not, is there a field that will serve that purpose? Thanks - Sarah 

while upgrading from 360 to PSO6 we are having trouble including certain column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace, which we use in 360 Resource for grouping purposes. In 360 we can display the additional attribute “Shift Group” in the Resources tab of the Scheduling Workspace by adding “Shift Group” to the Resource Columns list. in PSO we can add the Additional Attribute “Additional_Attribute.Shift Group” to the Resources Column list but it still fails to show in the list of displayable column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace. we have tried many different ways to get this column included now but have failed miserably. does anyone have any ideas? thank you for any assistance you can give me

Hi, We want to implement capacity planning for our assembly and testing areas. But we cannot define the best approach. We can set each possible routing as an alternate, however the possibilties are endless. In a simplified version, let’s say we have an Assembly area which consists of 4 places where we can work on our shop order. It doesn’t matter which of the 4 are used, they are 100% identical. Same principle for our testing area: there we have 2 places, identical.But if we define each possibility with a routing, it will be impossible to keep track. Lets say we have 4 operations in our shop order (in reality it will be more): Operation 10 in an assembly area (4 possibilities), operation 20 in a testing area (2 possible), operation 30 in assembly area (4 possible), operation 40 in a testing area (2 possible). For this simplified shop order, you will allready have 4*2*4*2 = 64 different alternates. So that will not work. How can we still plan according to capacity? Can we set our assemb

A quick report SQL query runs but does not display the results. The query works fine in SQL Developer. Do not know what issue is. 

I have a user who get a “blank” page when opening Inventory Details and Inventory Management. This worked yesterday. We have cleared the cache and personal settings, and also reinstalled the app to no avail. I assume there may some temp files that needs to be removed manually?

Hi,In the Report Designer, we have the option to turn any value field into a barcode. But we need a barcode with information from two fields. Example, the barcode must have both Part No and Part Description. Is it possible to achieve?

 When we create a new Structure Revision, IFS automaticaly asigns a phase-out date (“yesterday”) to the previous revision, while stamping a phase-in date (“today”) to the new revision. This seems practical but has some drawbacks:The new revision is born as “Tentative”, as we plan to make changes on it. That is why we are making a revision ;-)If the new revision is not finished in the same working day and set to “Buildable”, if it remains as work-in-progress for a while (“Tentative”), and MRP is run meanwhile,  the Part we are revising is found to have “Not Buildable” revision. when attempting to cancel the matching of a customer mixed payment then we have this error; Wrong Requirements for account 1900.  Please check code part demands Mixed payment cannot be cancelled as there is a supplier payment included that has been cancelled. How can we rectify this and remove the allocation of this payment from customer account/invoices?  

Dear All,When I enter a mixed payment, I need to change the default currency of the bank account. In my case, I can't change the currency. Ex : I have set AUD for my bank account and I receive the payment in USD. But system doesn't allow to change currency from AUD to USD. Even in mix payment line, it is not allowed to change the currency. Any help for this? 

I get following error message when posting the final invoice which is created from the customer order.ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Voucher date for payment cannot be earlier than voucher date (28-MAY-22) on which payment on account CUPIA 45 was posted.) occurred while booking Invoice CD ****The customer order has one advance invoice  and settled through the mixed payment. But at the preliminary stage the final invoice has back dated the invoice date. Is that a problem? I tested all possible scenarios and at the final invoice level only forward day can be entered. Please suggest me solution. 

Hi everyone, i have this issue i was creating a new custom LU Entity, and in aurena i was create a  page configuration and projection conf.   i also create a relationship with project Entity. Then i try to create a List using this entity in the Project Definition Page but doesnt work, i dont know if i missing something . But i need can use this custom entity for create a list in project definition page, maybe i missing something. Thanks for the Help.Regards. 

Hello, We have the below problem in FSM Mobile: In mobile, some fields are “dropdown” type and we want to display predefined values. For example, the below field “CUSER_DEF221” needs to have some values in its dropdown, but in mobile the dropdown is empty. we are upgrading from 360 to PSO6 and cant find how to add or delete private activities in the Scheduling Workspace as we can in 360. Are we correct in thinking that this is now something that has to be performed in the Planning Workspace in Planning/Resource/Unavailabilities, or are we still able to add the unavailbilities directly into the Scheduling Workspace?thank you for your help

How All.How could I set up a parameter in Aurena Lobby to understand “Like” where condition with % so I will be able to type a part of the text.In the example bellow, if I use like condition with %, the element in Aurena doesn’t not work, just in IEE. Hello All, Our customer wishes to use digital signature functionality so they have created a new custom event action for event DOCUMENT_APPROVED. Method:Edm_File_Sign_Util_API.Certify_Pdf_File (‘&DOC_CLASS', '&DOC_NO', '&DOC_SHEET' , '&DOC_REV' , 'Signature from IFS'); They have generated new user certificates in keystores window and when the user try to approve the document, below error “Invalid file name” comes.As you can see there are no special characters in the file name. Hi Is it a bug that  navigation searching  of aurena does not support fuzzy search with Chinese language1， “采购订单接收” page can be found ， if we  search the “采购“ key words 2，but if we  search the “订单” ，  “采购订单接收” page would not be found.
