Hi Community,Please let me know the functionality of the below scenario.In Supplier payment proposal details window the “Branch” field gets enabled when “Payment in Advance” tick is enabled.What is the functionality behind this and how such payment in advance could be used to match with invoices along with branch functionality (Is it with supplier offset?)  

How can I CASH a Credit Card Refund that shows up in Customer Repayment Check?  There is no RMB to Cash the payment.  The payment is currently in a Printed Status.   There is no help how to do this for Credit Card Refunds.

Hi AllWe are only a couple of weeks away from going live with Apps10, upgrading from Apps9.On Apps 9 we ran a two node clustered Middleware setup, both nodes running 2 Middleware Server Services (4 in total). This was for our userbase of 400 users (Around 130 Concurrent Users). The system has run well, albeit potentially over complicated (especially when patching etc).We have decided to ditch the clustered nodes in favour of one sole MW Server.My question is, do you think running with One node and only one ‘MainServer’ Managed Server is acceptable for our user base? in comparison to what you have seen….Any thoughts, or comparisons to what you are running with for Apps10 would be appreciated.ThanksMikeOS: WindowsDB: Oracle 19 (Local physical) 600GbMW: Apps10 (Local Virtual)Userbase: 400 global users (130 concurrent)

Hi When I try to execute the CMD of IFS Cloud 22R2 DB installation, a connection error was shown as below. I have completed the pre-installation (eg. I’m having problems logging into the portal.  I haven’t used it in a while and it won’t allow me to reset my password.  I get “Invalid Username or User has not been approved. Please type your IFS username correctly and try again.” when I submit my username. I even tried to “register” but it says my username and email address already exist.

In App 10 testing one of the customer who I am working with, received following error message when trying to copy a project - the dates for the project are within the dates: calendar * has not got enough working days in the period you want to copy the project to! Make sure the calendar is generated for the entire project period

What date range is used for the DSO calculation in Customer Credit Management? This feature seems useful to us but we need to know the basis for the number. We did find the formula in the help file, but it doesn’t specify any date range.

Hello all, I have a question regarding MRP planning for a purchased item. I believe the issue is related to the PO receipt dates, which is causing MRP to not generate PORs and run negative. A firm PO was created on 11/1/2022. However, the PO line was changed to 3/30/2023The PO is showing on IPAP at 3/30/2023with an MRP Applied Date of 1/12/2023.The demand goes negative this month and MRP is not creating PORs to correct the issue (20 day lead time item).My question is, because the PO header Receipt Date is November 2022, is IFS not creating PORs because it believes this material will be here?I am not familiar enough with the MRP interworking to know if this is correct or not, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated! 

Could someone show me how the bank file looks like with all the data that is being imported for auto bank recon?Do you have any step by step instructions how to set up basic data for Bank recon. with screen shots?We have never used that option in IFS. Please help  and Thank you Emilia

Community, is there a way, that on the customer order could specify the part revision no? we have parts in stock come with multiple revisions, if customer a particular revision, how to make this revision visible on customer order line? Thank you. 

Hello, we are running a project to enhance our Company’s intranet provision. One aspect is to show real-time finance data. I was thinking along the lines of creating a lobby for a user and then a link (somehow) that will show/update a dashboard element on their personal intranet page.  Not asking how I can achieve this but wanting to know if the concept is at all possible or not. Has anyone worked on and achieved showing lobby data in an external environment outside of IFS10? Or at least know if this is at all possible?     

Hello,  I created this automatic posting rule for my not invoiced orders.As you can see this rule is trigerred by the M18 posting control. However the automatic posting is not generated although the posting related to M18 is created. Any idea how to fix this problem ?  Best regards

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD14 and I’m working on IEE Lobby Elements.I’m using a text element to add some additional context info to a lobby and I’m wondering how the “Formatting” section of the Element designer is supposed to work.  I was expecting it to format my text (in this case, center the text plus bold and italics), but it doesn’t seem to do anything.  How is it supposed to work?

Not really sure why the Demand Server cannot be started.We cannot log in with any user.  Error states ‘Invalid Password or username.’The user is not locked. The periods are defined thru 2023I know that a user reported that the last time he used this was 09/2022….so not sure when the error started.Has anyone experience this and know a fix or what to look at? 

Hello all, I have noticed some behavior with my IFS Aurena saved search. I am attempting to create a saved search in the Shop Floor Reports screen where the Created By User excludes our shop floor terminal accounts. I created the does not end with and used the shop floor naming convention with the wildcard. This does return the correct values, but when I save the search, it drops that parameter. I have no idea why it’s doing that. I have the same search saved in IEE (Apps 10 UPD 12) and it works fine. During save:When I run the search, the field is returned blank.I’m not familiar enough with Aurena to understand why it would do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi all,Currently we are playing around with Aurena on tablets. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8Initially we started Aurena in browsers and we landed on Edge due to the ability to go full screen. Additionally when prompted to add media, the screen popped up with the option to select the camera or to browse folders. Truly amazing!Unfortunately this function does not seem to work anymore, after IT updated the tablets. I only see that this is Android 12 and a bunch of other versions of stuff I do not fully understand.Anyway, I was told in the newest version of Android Samsung has restricted media access (i.o.w. the camera does not open up when using Aurena). Could somebody help me to regain the previous functionality?Additionally could someone tell me if running Aurena this way is advised? Or is there a better/ more stable way?Thanks in advance

Hello.I’m curious if there is any way to display/filter/query for invoices in Manual Supplier Invoice view to find those where there are no attachments. Is there any feature anywhere to identify the invoice as having or missing attachment? Any tips are highly welcome ;)  Happy New Year! 

Related to another unanswered topic I submitted, we have seen when employees get a new manager in the employee file, there are various other screens that have not been updated, and managers cannot see expenses etc. Is there a step by step guide somewhere on which screens to update and in which order to transfer an employee from one manager to another?Or a step by step guide to add a new employee, with all the correct position and supervisor setup in the correct order would also be helpful.This is on Apps 10
