Hello,I’m not sure if this should be posted in the assets forum for the PM functionality or this forum for database task schedule functionality. We are attempting to create a new database task schedule to run the function Pm_Action_Calendar_Plan_API.Extend_Plan. This function extends the system parameter PM Plan Horizon. Our plan is to keep this value set 5 years out and the hope is to run this at the beginning of each year to automatically extend the plan horizon by another year. Otherwise it could easily be forgotten if it has to be run manually once a year. There’s only one parameter for this function called NEW_YEAR_ and it should be a YYYY number. I’ve tried multiple setups to set this to a value 5 years from this year, but nothing seems to be working properly. The closest I’ve gotten is using #NUMBER_OF_THIS_YEAR#+5 but this just sets the argument to quite literally 2023+5.It seems odd that this parameter won’t sum the two values together. Hello, I would like to setup a Compliance Plan to generate Audits for associates at my company. I’ve setup a test Plan and created and Audit ID. I am able to release the Audit and complete it, but I was under the impression you could schedule Audits to generate automatically. The only option I have found is to Re-Generate Audit on the Closed Audit that is connected to the Compliance Plan. This appears to require manual intervention each time you would like to create a new Audit and assign it to someone from the Audit pool. This solution would not scale well, as there would need to be an individual to generate, assign, and create Focus Areas for each Audit. Is there a step that I have not properly configured to create and generate Audits? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Good morning,I spoke with IFS this morning and they confirmed that their customers who use Kerberos to authenticate AD users to assyst are reporting that users can no longer access the application after some Windows Server 2019 updates were applied.Has anyone here who uses Kerberos to authenticate users to assyst (pass-through authentication) experienced problems after Win Server 2019 updates being applied to the server?We will be attempting to rollback the updates.  I have also checked the krb5.conf and it appears to be correct.  I removed older encryption types.As a workaround, I have set up an alternate assyst app server that is using Database authentication to allow users to continue to use the application.Anyone else having this problem?  We are on assyst 10 SP7.5 but IFS has told me that it affects all versions.

Hi,I have an issue where some of my database packages having references to custom object packages. for an example, Customer_Order_API having below code,Shop_Ord_Cfp.Modify__AS i know, Shop_Ord_Cfp is generated once the custom objects of the LU ShopOrd are fully published. But at the time of the installation these are not published. SO, the database deployment giving errors in Cloud. How i can bypass these errors during the delivery creation in buildplace? Hello All, Is it possible to create a Custom Lookup on an assystNET form using Contact User as the single-select-lookup but have the Default Value Expression as the user who is currently logged in?

We use Applications 10 and have received logotype picturefiles in the png format. These logotypes are drawings in different colours combined with a text in black. The part of the logotype files that are blank are see-through. When printing the pdf invoice reports the logotype is printed so that the see-through parts are black. This is not wanted of course. We have tried several times to find a way to get the see-through parts printed as see-through on the invoices but to no avail. We do get gif files as see through, but the quality of those printouts is abysmal.Any recommendations?

Is there any way in IFS to mark in IFS that the invoice is disputed and then it will be reflected in the reports (bad debt, open items) in IFS 9?

Hi,I have seen announcements on that external data sources can be connected to Lobbies, since this is still new I have not found anyone who would have knowledge on how this is actually done. Is this for PowerBI lobby elements only or can it be used for all lobby elements? How do you set up an external data source for a lobby? Any advice is welcome.BR, Jukka

We want to create Mixed Payment from External Payments, but it is insensitive, what can be the reason? RMB on the External Payment line for all Mixed Payment options are not sensitive.Rights to create mixed payments is usually granted, I am using IFS_ALL permission set.Any other ideas?Thank you for your help! Hi,I need to understand how status ‘In Effect’ and ‘Not In Effect’ work in part revision tab and what is the connection with phase in/out dates?.In the below example, for revision , even though phased out date is 13/2/2023, repair status is ‘In Effect’. Also for revision 5, even though no phased out date is entered , product/repair status is ‘Not In Effect’. Could someone be able to explain please? Also let me know How to identify which is the latest revision we use to manufacture or to purchase inventory parts at the moment?Thank you

In order to create a counter element in a lobby, in the 'Data Source Designer' I need to do the following condition, which result count is '12': In the element designer I need a configuration, that would able in the WebClient by left clicking in the counter, to show the tasks that were selected by the prior condition (in this case the same 12 tasks). Element Designer: It's possible to reproduce the condition of the 'Data Source Designer', with a 'select' inside in the URL (in the 'Element Designer')? Or there is another way to configure de element designer in order to show the same '12' tasks by clicking in the counter (knowing that its necessary to use a 'select' in the condition on the 'Data Source Designer'?

Hi Folks,we currently have a serial part that is owned by our company in our stock. I would like to allocate a portion of this part for rental purposes. However, I am encountering an error message when attempting to transfer the ownership location from company-owned to company-rental.I have two questions regarding this. Can the same part serially unique be used for both company-owned and company-rental assets? Can the part be kept in the same location, regardless of whether it is a company-owned or company-rental asset? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.   

Hi,I have a problem, applies to two inventory part:1. If i set the default location SK1-SP when creating a production order sets WK0-SP in the proposed location  2. If i remove the location from inventory part when creating a production order, it sets WK0-SP to the proposed location For other inventory parts, setting up a default location works fine.Does anyone know where else the default location parameter is set?

We are using Apps 10.We are currently reporting floor operations manually. We have highly skewed numbers that are tied to WIP. We continually have a negative balance in our labor expense account. The posting control is set to debit WIP and credit direct labor. Direct labor only is debited when we post payroll, but still remains at a credit balance in the millions.  What is the transaction to move WIP and all associated costs to finished goods? It doesn’t appear to be happening.

I'm trying to find out if IFS10 is taking in consideration the expiry date (shelflife) of products. Are you currently using that? Is the functionality available in IFS10? Do I have to turn on specific variables to get this going? Thanks in advance, Steve

Hi,I have a Single Line string custom filed on a logging form, and would like to add a Validation Expression that stops a user entering 000000 or 123456.I’m able to write an expression that allows only 000000, but not able to write an expression that doesn’t allow that combination of numbers.Has anyone had any luck writing this kind of validation expression?Thanks in advance
