We are in IFS9 - I need to set-up an authorization Routing template or rule - not sure which might have what I need, that will allow me to have a back-up authorizer.  In other words, we only need one person to authorize, but we want to add another to cover when they are not available.  I have it set-up in the Routing template with both Authorizers at Step No 10 - but that requires both to authorize.  If I change the set-up so the Step No are 10 & 20, it still requires both to authorize but in an order.Is there a way to have 2 individuals but only require 1 authorization?  If not through the template, may another option?  Thanks!

My Customer would like to setup thier Crystal Server to integrate with their IFS Cloud application. Is this done by FS resources through a Case or if there is a way my Customer can do this?

Hi, I would like to know why do we have a code part function ‘Internal’ when a page to include/exlcude IL code part already exists, what is the purpose of Code Part Function - Internal? and what is the difference between ‘Code Part Function - Internal’ and ‘Internal Code Parts’? If I mark the Code Part Function as Internal, then will this code part not be used in GL? And what is the Code Part Function - Internal Elimination used for? Thanks for your inputs. Best regardsRutuja

We have an standard “Terms and Conditions” PDF file we need to be able to send with the standard Quotations Report from IFS Cloud.  This should be a default attachment every time a quotation is emailed or printed.Any good instruction how to set up this in IFS Cloud? 

As far as I know, the ‘import company template’ function is not available in Cloud. we used this functionality to copy companies across instances/environments rather than do the set-up manually in each instance from the scratch. What are the alternatives that IFS cloud has to import a verified set-up from one instance to other (e.g. from pre-prod instance in 22R2 to live). Appreciate some advice here since it requires significant duplication of effort to recreate all of the set-up from the scratch between instances. Thank you,Sandy

 We are in cloud 21R2. In the attachments in customer window there are more than 20 documents attached but only 20 records are visible in the attachments, there is no way to change the view to list view. documents are shown only in card view. Is there a way to show all the documents in the attachment section without going to revisions?Only 20 documents are shown

Has anyone tried filtering an item field on a custom form to include all items with a specific configuration characteristic? I’ve been working my way through it myself with the help of the Wiki and Javadocs but seem to be missing something.My use case is to apply a configChar of ‘’Single sign-on’ to all applications that are set up for it, to present our user base with an incident relating to troubles logging in, and limiting the item selection to only relevant applications.Thanks in advance.

When adding many attachments in Posting Proposals to an invoice we get this message.“Too many documents to transfer to overview page. Showing a limited list.”Is there a way to configure this so we can see all attachments added to the invoice?  

Dear All, Is there a possibilty to send a reminder to a customer about an unpaid invoice that didn't exceed the Due date? For example.The due date of a customer invoice is 31-12-2021. Hi Everyone, Most of file transfers from external sources for employee data is done via SFTP currently. We download the source file from an SFTP folder to the integration server and then perform a remote upload command. A bit archaic I know but didn’t have much time during our on-prem to SaaS migration to change this so we kept with it. A external system that generates one of our source files is going though a revamp and we are looking to get rid of the SFTP servers to transfer the file. We are thinking of having them directly upload their file to our ETM channel. Has anyone done this before? If so, a couple of questions:Do you have an example of the remote POST command? I do know the examples provided within ETM (powershell and bash) but would like other examples.  What tools/programming language to you use to automate the upload? Did you create a new ETM user for that specific interface? Can we restrict the new ETM user to only upload for a certain channel? Or will they have access t

Hello everyone,We have for our customer an lobby element constructed to display “Incoming dispatch advice lines”.It works but we noticed that unlike other lobby elements, our “site” filter does not work properly.When we put “%” to show all sites linked to our user, we see all lines from all sites. It’s not a SQL problem because if we go directly to the menu “Incoming dispatch advice lines” and we search without any filter, we see all lines from all sites. If we go to “Customer Order” and search without filter, we only see the customer orders from the sites linked to the user. Here is the lobby date source designer : I tried to add this to filter only the site linked to the user : and contract IN( SELECT contract FROM USER_ALLOWED_SITE  where userid = (select fnd_session_api.get_fnd_user() from dual )) With an administator account, it seems to work :  But as soon as I test it with an account with limited sites connected, I have this error message :   Messages d'erreur du serveur :3021b0

Hi all,There is a background job running at midnight everyday for create and delivery shipments, most jobs running successfully but a few jobs every time go to a warning state. the error is mentioned below.Shipment 43267   ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource Batch queue is 44 which runs this shipment job, there is only one background job running in that queue.I also increased processes up to 3.is anyone know what other actions can I do to prevent this error happen?Thank Yousara

I am trying to set a default value for the Order Proc Type field for Purchase Orders so they automatically release after being approved.I have set the field to Required and Default to Previous, but it is not working as expected as it does not default to previous.  We only have one processing type and it will always be used, but they have to enter it on every line, sometimes 50 times...be much more efficient if defaulted. 

I wanted to expand on a reason you could get the error ‘Error snapshot MRP Supply/Demand. MRP can not find required date of Order No in calendar’  based on the thread below.  The issue could be caused by more than your manufacturing calendar not being extended far enough.  If you make a mistake setting up you part information within the Inventory Part on the Planning Data tab you can cause this issue.  The below mistake where one of our users switched the Safety Stock and Safety Lead Time caused the exact error.   The error in data entry caused the MRP to think the safety stock lead time was 10000 days which would exceed our generated calendar but the root cause was the inventory part setup not the calendar generation.   Here’s how it should have been entered.  Once changed MRP successfully ran again.  It’s very important to know who to troubleshoot issue within IFS to determine the root cause of the issue.  Regards,William Klotz
