Hi, I have been struggling for several hours to try using this writeback function in business reporter, but the option still remains grey when i open my report …I am using information source “Project Forecast Item” that is initially setup by default to accept write back functionality, I have put some data in the forecast of my project and I can retrieve these data easily, I have added the write back cell and the mandatory reference cells, no error message, but still the option is grey… Of course i do have admin right on IFS.column G and H that are the ETC and ETA are properly fetched:and if i modify a value i get this message:which means IFS understand writeback is on going.Document options are also activated: Anyone faced the same issue and succeded to make it work ???(I m using APP10 upd 13)

Hi, 1/ In Allliance, what is the geocoding system used when we validate an address and define Lat/Long ?Is it the WGS84 ? 2/ For a customer case we import service orders with address (street, zip,  etc..) without Lat/Long.is it possible to use an API to add the Lat/Long for each service orders before creating service orders in Alliance.(we know the module Addres Validation, but in this case we have to validate Address before creating service orders In Alliance)Do you know customer case where a specific devlopement like that was done in the past ?or Do you know some other ways to validate address before create orders in Alliance ? even with another system/website to do this job for a file ?Thanks and Regardsanthony

"Suppliers" screen in the "Application Base Setup > Enterprise > Supplier" navigator path contains the below 8 columns. i want to add some more such information as address identity local and supplier name into suppliers information column, how shall i add them?

SQL Developer Oracle Query.png because it used to be easy to look at the IFS 8 Windows Form - System Info tab for which it tells me uses the CUSTOMER_INFO View and I can explode that to find the CUSTOMER_INFO_TAB Table:3. Hi, We just discovered that an object acquired in 2021 hadn’t been activated until now.The issue we are facing is the application wants to do depreciations from the acquisition date. But since that was last year it’s a problem. We’d like to do all the depreciation in a lump sum in present period. Does anyone know how to perform such action, if possible. Best regards. Tobias 

When user exit order bij clicking cross on tab, the order is still locked in the ap_lock table with that user. When user exit order bij clicking search the order is unlocked and is deleted from ap_lock table. The experience is that the user exit orders most of the time with the cross instead of clicking search. We use ap_lock table in process flows to update orders on the background if order is not locked by user.Also we use ap_lock table to devine if order is open by a current user. I don’t know if this is a bug or just not implemented, is it possible to delete the order from ap_lock table so the order is unlocked, when clicking  the cross. 15.3.0.5 Robin

In our business model service engineers can pick billable parts from warehouses managed by FSM and give it to the customer in service location.The part needs is managed in FSM with task templates.What we expect is:Before assigning an activity PSO must check the part needs in the activity, check the availability in a warehouse where service engineer can pick part from, and finally assign the activity to the correct service engineer. is that possibile ? How we have to configure person and places in FSM and what in PSO ?In case in which we have to configure the van stock of service engineer equals to the warehouse (in order to let pso to check availability) is possible to configure FSM Mobile App to not show the stock of the entire warehouse but only the real van stock of service engineer ? thanks and regardslf 

A customer wants to audit function for all key columns in all tables, which they believe will cause performance issues. From the help screen under Audit/Extract in the smart client, it states;"The audit process records information you specify and stores it in a table named metrix_audit that you can access with any program that can access your database. This information is transactional in nature; it includes the person who made the change, the time and date of the change, the type of change, the table and field changed, and so forth.You can create as many audit sets as you need. You must create a set for each FSM table you want to audit.”Even though it says that you can create as many audit sets as you need, can we assure the customer that they will not have performance issues?   

(I work in US10 Finance) We are post Thor go-live and I have a customer asking for invoices from 2017.  I have always had read-only access to BIZ 7.5 - Today, the APP is not working (access point was Citrix - which is no good now, I've added a pic).  I have asked around to my colleagues if there is a new URL or if they have any knowledge - no one knows.  The suggestion to create a case came up, I am hoping that is not necessary and one of you great folks can provide at least insight, as I feel I must have missed some communique or something.  Thanks for your time.

Hi, We are using IFS V9, I noticed we can create a new custom page with an existing logic unit, but if we do like this the existing logic unit can’t be edit in the new page. For instance I want to create a new page for customer order lines for planners to confirm planned delivery date, because the standard customer order lines function include price information which should be limited to access. Is it possible to create a new page like customer order lines but having limited columns and users can also edit the columns like customer order lines?  Thank you very much.

Hi,I would like to use a customer geographical segmentation in the table State/Province (Segmentation in four areas for example :  East/West/South/North). 1/ is it possible ?2/ In this case, what could be the GIS Rule settings in Editor configurator (no control on state) ?3/ French states IDIt seems that in some cases, Alliance validate the address against a “Google” segmentation of states?But for some french states we have addresses invalidated because states are not existing….but I think that french states contains invalid characters for Alliance like : Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Auvergne-Rhône-Alpesand the result is : impossible to have validated address when we want to use GIS Rules for FR. Thanks and Regardsanthony

Is there a way to change the currency code in a customer order window that was created based on a work order?

Hi. Is there a way to disable the default F2 keyboard shortcut functionality (Populate)? We work with huge databases and often use F3 (Query), but one slip of the finger to the left can lock up IFS for many minutes when it tries to fetch the entire database (for example Overview - Transactions History). I know some users went as far as pulling the key from their keyboards 😀, but I’m looking for a more elegant solution.

 Hello My company has no parallel currency setup. But when i am creating a customer payment transaction on mixed payment window I can enter parallel currency amount manually. See example below. Field is not deactivated. After finishing the record, I can see parallel currency amount Parallel currency amount is displayed in mixed payment voucher rows.
