Good Morning,  We recently converted a location from a legacy system (discontinued) to IFS Apps 10 and need to complete a Customer credit that was originally in said legacy system.  Is it possible to create a Misc Credit in IFS that is not tied to a Customer Order for a Customer? Thank You

Hello, Is there any way to have formatting when we write guidelines? It is a shame that it is so basic… Even Windows Sticky notes have more formatting options!  

We have recently upgraded to FSM6 from Metrix5. in Metrix we added lines to the request description field (request.cust_prob_descr) using SQL Agent jobs, and started each added line with a CHAR(13) carriage return. in FSM we are unable to make changes to any other request field via the User Interface (desktop client) on any request where one of these lines with a carriage return has been added. On Save we get an FSM Error message on a pop-up with the statement:“Row(request_request, ([request_id])) was changed after it was selected. Reselect and try again.”If we remove the carriage return on Excel and reimport the description, or if we remove the carriage return with a sql update then we are able to modify the request again using the User Interface. Unfortunately we require the added information lines and the carriage returns in the description for our mobile application. Therefore we want to be able to make changes to any request field AND keep our char(13) in the description field.Any

Hi Community, The below issue comes in IFS Cloud 22R2 version. Internal Price for the Project has been set Now, 1 hour has been reported to Activity A1. With the cost of 150This is correct as it has properly fetched from the Internal Price setup. Create a Resource with a cost of 20 There are no Persons connected to this Resource Add this Resource to a different Activity A2 in the same ProjectWhy the Planned Cost is shown as “150” here ? This problem comes when there is already reported time for some activity in the project.Anybody has an idea ?

Hi All,We got this error from a cloud 22R2 client and we had to reboot the Linux box to bring this environment back online.And now we are trying to find the root cause of this incident.But when we create mct1 logs, most of the logs have been initiated when we restarted and couldn’t find much information relevant to this downtime.We checked database alert logs but there were no suspicious records related to this offline.And we couldn’t find errors in Event Viewer as well.Could you kindly let me know where to look to get more information, please?Appreciate your valuable suggestions and opinion on this.IFS Aurena client version: 22.2.1.20221024062126.0

Hi team, We have an MRO who receives the engine for repair and, while disassembling it, sometimes determines that engine is beyond economical repair and, therefore, will strip the items to stock.  This will require labor, tools, and the costs involved in disassembly/disposition operations. CRO was created for those items and performed repairs if parts could be repaired. The output of this is that we end up with 10 to 20 parts in stock that are in a serviceable condition that equals the value of the labor, parts, and capital. When performing stripping down the engine and sending items to stock, the assembly side of the Complex assembly MRO work order does not need to be completed. (Only disassembly SO are closing) Can we do this in IFS App10 so we can close CAMRO without completing the assembly section of a work order?What is the most convenient way to perform this strip down to stock using complex assembly work orders? Thank you!

HI!We use funtion Email Order… for PO. IFS will send mail to supplier automatically. Then supplier guy will reply our buyer to confirm the PO. But last week, we move our mail system from Domino to MS O365. Then this function doesn’t send mail anymore. The action setting as follow. Other mail type event if From User is not &REPLY_TO_USER. For example followed one works right. Is anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

Difference between FSM 6 and Cloud FSM(Service Management) 

In IEE, I was able to create a custom RMB in the Person page to open up an Aurena Page in a new Microsoft Browser. Now I am trying to add a $filter string to have the Aurena Page filter by the Person from IEE. The IEE field that I want the RMB to use is “PERSON_ID” and the Aurena page person id field name is “Cf_Person_Id”. These are the $filter strings that I added at the end of my Aurena URL, hoping would filter the page:?$filter=Cf_Person_Id eq $[Person_Id] ?$filter=Cf_Person_Id eq $[Person_Id]$ ?$filter=Cf_Person_Id eq $Person_IdNone of them work, the URL only works properly without these filter strings. Can we use an IEE field as a parameter in an RMB when opening up an Aurena URL and if so, how? 

I tried to set up my IFS Support password but every password is telling me that: The password does not meet the password policy requirements. Please check the mentioned 'Password Complexity Requirements'. I used the policy requirements, but it keeps being rejected.  Who can I contact about this?

Hi Everyone, I am setting up the middletier on an azure linux vm, and using an azure windows vm as the management server. Both of these are in one Virtual Private Network.I could configure and run the ps> .\main.ps1 -resource 'KEY' step. But when running the ps> .\main.ps1 -resource 'KUBERNETES' step, I get the below error.  Has anyone come across something similar to this?The generated key from the ‘KEY’ step is in the authorized_keys file of ‘ifs’ user in middletier server.Also I can SSH into the middletier server from the management server using ‘ssh ifs@managementserver’. It asks for the password though. I also tied setting the PrvKeyFile variable in the main_config.json but no luck.Thanks in advance.

HelloI am setting up ISO20022 payment files in Cloud 22R2. The output file does not contain the Clearing System ID or Clearing System Member ID. I have entered the data in Payment institute offices.  Does anyone know if I need to set up some other information as well? Kind regardsGlenda

Hi All,When I search for History Log under Presentation Objects by Component tab, I’m not getting the History Log subset within ‘IFS Base Functionality’.But if I do the same in the TEST environment, I can see them there.I’m login as IFSADMIN and have the same permissions as the IFSAPP user.The below image is from Production From PRODIn TEST we can see them as below.Kindly let me know how can I enable/add them back to production.Thank you in Advance.

Documentation page (F1) says it can be done, but I couldn’t figure it out how.  1- I set serial tracking at receipt and issue to no. ‘FALSE’2-I set serial tracking in inventory to no. ‘FALSE’3-I set serial trackinf after delivery to yes. ‘TRUE’ 4- I created a Customer Order and reserved the part. (non-inventory serial tracking but serial tracking after delivery)5- I created a shipment and closed it. In Apps9, (and going forward with our upgrades) would be good to conditionally alert users when emails from IFS advise if they are from our TEST database. Coming from PROD should be the norm and therefore nothing needed to alert the user.  Just adding DB_SID would not work, as users would ignore it - as it would be present for both PROD and TST. Ideally something like: if #DB_SID# like ‘%TST’ then ‘ This message generated from TEST’ Else NULL and add this to Subject line. Thanks

Hello all. We need to use the external customer invoice assistant to migrate some invoice in IFS and we need to enter a specific voucher date (the 30/09/2022). But at each time, the only voucher date that is automatically entered is the day of the action of the import of the invoice.We don’t understand what is blocking our wish…Here our process if somebody has the answer :) It’s the invoice that I want migrate :For the exemple, the transaction date is 31/01/2022. Here is our external file template : Here is our load type (MIG) : When I want to implement the invoice : On the external customer invoice assistant I select the load typ MIG and I enter my wanted voucher date. It’s transferred and checked without errors.I create the invoice and here is the basic screen that appears with the voucher date of today. I change the voucher date.My invoice is succesfully created but with the wring voucher date. Samed if I poste the invoice.What’s wrong wit my parameters ?

Hi,  With the help of Sajith D in this topic I was able to config SSO login for our Cloud R2 setups: “https://community.ifs.com/upgrades-updates-81/azure-ad-sso-with-ifs-cloud-r2-17998”Problem is now that as soon as I configure the “Directory ID” on a user so that the user can login through SSO, they get below errors once they are logged in: They are logged in but unable to see any pages. They can log out however. Their profile settings show no data for them.I have done this on three different environments with same result. If I remove the Directory ID they can login as a database user without problems.Am I missing something essential here? IFS Cloud documentation seem to say I only need to define the directory ID after the SSO is setup in IFS IAM.Help would be appreciated!  /Jacob
