IFS cloud 22R2I was able to initiate the Ad hoc Work Reporting wizard and move to the stages but when I reach the Materials section, my attempts to populate the Part Availability for Issue Material section is not successful.I have tried several different combinations such as using the apply and reset buttons but I cannot seem to populate with any values. Has anyone successfully worked on this section ? Any tips to get this to work ? 

Hello Team,In Astea Alliance 14 - UAT Environment - We made a customization on Service Order History Module (c_order_line). We added a field called cst_ref → referring to the ref.no field in Service Order Module (order_line). Later we found that there is already a reference to ref.no field in SV history. Hence, we don’t need this customization, so deleted it.Unfortunately, the new field cst_ref was not removed from c_order_line table and was causing issues in invoicing. As now order_line and c_order_line is not idnetical in terms of columns. So, we reached out to IFS via support portal, and they asked us to drop the column using alter query and we did.Now the table is back to normal, but still the application cannot open anything related to SV history module. In event log we found that the application uses SELECT query in which it explicitly asks for cst_ref column (which is now removed), hence getting error.How to make application not use this column anymore?Need suggestion on this.

@James Ashmore , @Björn Kleist We’re on a big Field Service Job and setting up the mobile service client.  Everything seems to be working, but we get this error when logging in and it makes you disconnect to log in the next time.  "error":"unauthorized_client","error_description":"Invalid client credentials" .  Any ideas.  We have to demo this thing Friday!Btw, does the service radio button on the resource group have anything to do with it.  We don’t know what that does.  

Hi All,  We are looking to create a report that shows what Purchase Orders were created manually and which purchase orders were created using Automatic Order Processing. I’ve been doing some digging in IFS for any fields that would show me something different for the Auto order processing and I can’t find anything. Has anyone written a report to show when Auto PO’s are created?

Hi there, I am currently looking at expanding our use of Call Centre Cases in IFS (Apps 10). IFS use Cases to handle their customer support issues and have an auto upload email address set up which automatically adds emails to the Case that it relates to as contact notes. Hi we currently use V14.5 but soon to move to 15.4.In V14.5 I frequently use the Manual SQL part of Export Template Wizard to create and run simply SQL, which is very handy.  I just tried to do the same in V15.4 but cannot find this option, so am wondering how I can run some SQL in V15.4?This is what I use in V14.5… ThanksChris

We have our Customer Order Confirmations printing through Crystal Reports. We recently set up a new site. These reports are not showing any information for the new site when we print a confirmation. Is there something in IFS I could be missing for the site set up? Or is there a spot in IFS that tells Crystal which site’s are allowed for this? I looked at the crystal report file itself and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything with the site. 

Hi,I am currently interested in finding information regarding IFS’s user permissions, permission sets, and anything else in that subject. Where can I find this? I’ve looked on IFS Academy but most courses about Administration are paid, which makes it difficult since their descriptions do not mention how in depth they go about permissions, so I am not sure if I should get one course over the other. Any help or additional information would be appreciatedThanks,Bryan

I try to figure out how the SAs can assign a product as a component on an Item when they add the material themselves on Mobile - is the only option to go to Item - Component - Add Component (+)?

Hi allWe have trouble using Aurena after installation of UPD15.  Does anybody have excperience with Edge and Aurena running UPD15 ?  We installed upd14 and 15 in our prod environment the 29th of September and have trouble in Aurena since…..Have anyone had the same problem and how did you solve this ?  

We are looking into using components on Items, but it is imperative that the SAs can see item components on the work orders. How do we activate this?

I want to retrieve data from IFS database into a Word document, e.g. work order number and task number to which the document is connected. Document is stored to IFS docman and data should be fetched when document is opened for viewing.Is it possible to do the procedure with document macros?

Hi experts,There is an requirement as below. In request screen, we can have multiple part needs. Once we create a new row in Part needs tab, we need to add some default values (Ex- Promised Date/Quantity) to the newly added row based on the first part_need row values. As an example, in this screenshot, first part need sequence = 46. So when user adding new row by using New button, the values from sequence - 46 should be fetched and set as default values in the newly created row.  I have already fetched the values from the first part need row by using client script sql. But when I try to use the getDataTableSelectedRows and setValueOnListDataRow, it seems these methods are not triggering the newly added row. Instead this method will trigger the first row since that is the one already selected as the default. Any feedback or work around for this. Thanks,Hasara

Hi,in a datatable in the UI designer a field gets truncated (web-client).I didn´t find a solution. I tried with length an control-type but it has no effect.Custom Metadata for the field:Max Chars 1024Column Type STRING (also tried LONGSTRING) The text is completely visible in the datatbase!Does anybody know how to slove this? Thanks 

Hi Is there in IEE a way that a user might grant document access to multiple documents without having to open every single document individually?We would like to avoid PLSQL scripting, as the user who would give access do not have access to the database, but are only admins in the document management area.Is there a screen we cant find, or a IFS standard RMB or assistant which does this? We are on IFS10 upd.8Best Regards

Hello,we are new in iFS world so we would like to ask for help here. For Supplier Invoices we plan to use posting control M93 and control type C31 for automatic account number assignment. Everything is set-up and working properly but there not possibile to override assigned account if neccesary during Manual Invoice processing. "Override” selection doesn’t seems to allow that. Any sugestions how to achieve this except reopening and edditing of line of the PO? Thank you

Hello.  I think this is a simple question.We are testing implementing EDI Customer orders.  For an inbound customer order (EDI850)  how is the ship-to location for a customer that has many ship to locations specified in the XML? Today, in our current system, our ship- to locations are coded by an alphanumeric designation  Specifically where in the XML should we specify the customers ship to code so that in IFS the correct shipping address is on the order?  I hope this makes sense.Thank you.  Any help would be appreciated.

HiWe are using the quick order flow as the way for users to progress orders but when an order has a line which is subject to an export licence the next step is not being shown in the quick order flow. All the orders in the snip above are of the same type for the same customer, but MLM061 and MLM063 both have a controlled part, MLM061 the licence shows as ‘connected’ and for MLM063 the licence shows as ‘matched coverage’.The reservation and create pick list next step for these orders was not shown under the three dots.  This means the user has to go to different screens to progress those orders even though they are doing the same process.  The user is able to do the reservation and picking without being blocked by any export licence check.Is there a reason why these orders are not being handled in the usual way under quick order flow once they are released?  Is there an option we can set to make sure they show up the same way?Any assistance much appreciated.  We are using Cloud version
