Hello, I have a question about period end vouchers. My client is migrating from 7.5 to cloud next month. Should the previous period end voucher be done on the new version they will be using then migrated or be done directly on IFS cloud ? Best regards.

Tolerance Parameters

Hello,I need some help, we have set up the % tolerance for invoicing which works very well for non-stocked items, but I can't get it to work for Inventory part? Is this the reason for a stored item in the PUMP? Is it necessary to make additional settings or not? Thank you for your help.

Removal of DOP netted deamnd

Does the functionality exist that would allow us to remove all DOP netted demand against part numbers? We are about to undertake our stock take and always experience a problem where we are unable to adjust the inventory quantity if there are reservation quantities greater than the counted quantity. I want to be able to remove all DOP netted demand prior to us counting.

Qty Required Excl Planned Scrap / Shop Order Receipt

When you receive a shop order, what is the calculation behind the scenes regarding check on the amount of material issued. I currently have the following scenario: Shop Order Lot Size = 10Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 10Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 13Qty Issued = 13 Despite the lot size being 10, I can over-report to 13. However, let’s say we increase the lot size to 11. I now have: Shop Order Lot Size = 11Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 13Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 14Qty Issued = 13 For some reason in this scenario, I can only report upto 10pcs. Reporting any more results in error message ‘Not enough components issued to receive this quantity’. Assuming I’m missing something, but I cannot see how I can report 13 in the first instance, but then only 10 in the second, despite the Qty per Assembly and Qty Issued not changing?

Work Centre Load - Planned Work Orders

Hi All, I am planning a work order on an equipment object with an associated manufacturing work order. My WO has an Obstructive Operation status and I am warned that the Work Task may interfere with planned Shop Orders. I can see that the correct work centre is listed in the prepare tab. I have shop order operations planned for the same time as the planned dates in the Work Order. I cannot seem to see the planned load on the Work Centre where it shows that a Work Order is planned to be executed. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction as to what I may be missing?

Prevent users from creating a count report on the entire warehouse

Hello, Does anyone have a solution for how to set up a block that prevents a user from accidentally creating a counting report of all the system's inventory parts? If you run the "Create Count Report" wizard, no filters are pre-filled and you click OK immediately, a report is created on all inventory parts for you primary site. Thanks,Johan

Object Transformation for MWO CLOUD

If you use the standard object connection transformation you can Attach documents to the Service Contract and get them to the work task. Source on the files at Task is But If you transfer this Work Task to mobile. It doesn´t appear.If directly attaching document of the same document class to task, it will appear in MWO. It seem like MWO doesn´t replicate documents that is part of an object connection transformation in cloud?

Should Shop Order By-Products appear on Inventory Part Availablity Planning?

Hello, We have a shop order with a main product and a by-product. A user is asking why the by-product does not appear as a supply on the part’s inventory part availability planning page. Does or should IFS treat a by-product has a supply signal from a shop order? For context, the part that is the by-product is also part of the materials to be issued. Updating user profiles after migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud

Hi All, We are in the process of migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud and I’m having trouble updating a particular user profile so that I can use it to access IFS Cloud. I have chosen one of the simplest users (minimal screens/functions available) which requires minimal modifications.I have allocated the appropriate, I think, Projections to a Permission set for this user but when I try to log on I get a number of popup windows with errors relating to Profile and Person info.See below:- Can anyone point me in the right direction to help resolve my difficulties with logging on to IFS Cloud please? Error creating analysis for Inventory Control Plan

Hello All, I am using IFS Apps 10 UPD 22, and I have setup and activated an Inventory Control Plan for a part that is currently in stock. I have scheduled daily checks, however, I have noticed they are not creating. I attempted to manually create one via RMB on the control plan header, however, I received an error message. I have confirmed I have the necessary permission grants. According to the help, I have completed all necessary prerequisites, and I’m at a loss as to why it would be generating an error. Control Plan re-trigger due to shop order reverting status

We’ve noticed some strange behavior with Control Plan triggers and SO status; it’s possible to have an SO header move to “Started” (which correctly triggers a control plan) but with a certain sequence of operations (If product is issued to a shop order, the SO header status goes to Started, then if it’s unissued goes back to Released, then re-issued, back to Started again)Below is an example of an order that spawned three Control Plans, but we’ve seen many more orders with just two. It looks like there’s no duplicate detection on the start shop order trigger; is there a better way to handle this? Is this expected behavior?IFS Apps 10 UPD 21
