Hi Community!We are seeking guidance on best practices for managing cases where a company employs individuals with protected personal information, such as name, address, and similar data. While it is necessary to store details such as address and personal identity number within the system, access to this information needs to be restricted to a limited number of authorized users.I’ve been looking in to Personal Data Management (not fully), but we don’t want to anonymize completely..This situation is not very common but occurs occasionally -  in Sweden at least. Could someone please advise on recommended approaches or share how other customers have successfully approached these kind of situations? Best regards, Anna

I am trying to set up a database task for condition or criteria based PMs to run automatically, however I can no longer find the PM_Criteria method in cloud. We can still manually run the condition based in the maintenance plan but that is not a viable option for most companies. What am I missing?

Hello.We are just beginning to look at using assyst Destination along with ETM to configure some integrations. I have created an ETM channel with a destination source, but the ID of the entity is not being passed through when the entity is being created.  Destination: I know that the destination is working, because when I take the action, an import is coming through to ETM. However, ETM is saying that there are 0 records to import: I have also inspected the message that is coming through ActiveMQ, and the ID is indeed included as part of the message body.  Any help would be appreciated.  assyst Version: 24R2 SU4 Build: 13018 Date built: Jun 11, 2025 2:27:00 AM  ETM version 1.8.0 Thanks,  Duncan    

Company schedules technician work in PSO. At times technicians who have active shifts in rota are doing deliveries instead of tech work. Would like to filter or colour/color scheduling Gantt or do something visual in the Gantt in PSO for shifts when tech is driving a delivery truck in order to know that the tech is not doing tech work those days. Truck types are skills in our application, and truck skills are associated with either tech or delivery work, but don’t see any way to filter on skills? Viewing the scheduling XML one can see Resource_Skill and Activity_Skill, but can’t filter? Appreciate any guidance, thanks. Using PSO 6.15.0.46.

However, when attempting to create the interim order, I receive the following message:“No buildable routing revision/alternative exists for part xxxx at Site on the date 2-SEPT-25.”I checked part xxxx and confirmed that the part type is set to "by-product." It does not contain a routing and/or a product structure.What could be causing this error?Kind regards,Willem

In general we don’t manufacture any of our parts.  We purchase all parts from Manufacturers.  We have situations where we know a part is “Discontinued”.Sometimes we might purchase all available parts on the market and keep them in inventory.Are their any out of the box ways to indicate parts that are at risk (Scarce).  We need to be able to identify these parts without setting them Obsoleted because we want to keep using and repairing the parts we have.But we need a way to identify the parts that fall into this category so we can be actively finding replacement options.  Understanding our risks if we have a large failure of several of these parts at the same time.

Hi all.My client is upgrading fron IFS App 10 to IFS Cloud 24.2.In IFS Apps 10 they share the consults that are saved with others users and it is a good functionality for them. They asked me if this functionality is allowed in Cloud and I do not find anything related to that.So, is it possible to share the bookmarks? I’m not meanning to export/import functionality between profiles but share the bookmark when you set it up.

Hello, I am new to using IFS Cloud in the cloud. I have always used IFS on prem. I went through the necessary steps and have received the ability via ifsinfo and ifsdbreadonly to get into the database via sql developer to do some select statements. However, I am coming across the problem where I can only do a SELECT statement on some views and not others.EX: IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER returns nothing but IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER_ADDRESS returns normal information.There are many more examples.Why is this? Or how am I able to query all of the views without issue? Thanks, Eli

Hi, We get this error in the mrp for one of our sites, error is recieved during the MRP snapshot summary :Error ORA-20110: DeliveryRoute.ROUTEDATEPICK: Retrieving next work day from 02-FEB-53 using route has failed. The date is outside the interval of the calendar XXX. occurred while running Snapshot_Summary for Contract XXX. We do not want to extend the calendar this far ahead and would like to find what is causing this issue. We suspect user error inputting some data but are not able to find what is causing it.Checked parts with extremely long leadtimes, Demand far ahead, Supply chain matrix settings, Transport leadtimesWe are running IFS Apps 10 Any tips would be greatful/Anna

We have a customer order line connected to a project. Supply code of the customer order line is Project Inventory. We have a shop order connected to the same project and need to peg the shop order to the customer order line.Querying for the Customer Order in “Manually Pegging of Customer Order Line” produces an information message “No data found”. Can project demands not be manually pegged? Hi,in APPS10 when you filter approval steps in “Document Management - Approvals” users see all the approvals steps not only for them. I found out SQL select, that returns only steps that are for particular user:select * from APPROVAL_CURRENT_STEP where (PERSON_ID = '#PERSON_ID#' OR &AO.Document_Group_Members_API.User_Member_Of_Group(GROUP_ID, '#PERSON_ID#') = 'TRUE') but when I copy it to IFS, it gives me error: Any suggestions??ThanksJan

We have Shipment Types on our Customer Orders set to NR for “at order release”. However, when releasing the CO, it is not creating a shipment ID. It also does not allow for a manual one to be made. Any reasons why this is happening?

Hi.We’re hoping to create an OnServer CREATE_OUTPUT_FILE type migration job that would return all active employees in our organization, including the address data for their listed company work locations. Work location data already exists in the table, but the address data for the work location doesn’t. This is a copy of an older migration job that returns other employee results, and based on that I’ve created a SELECT statement in the File Mapping tab as follows: (SELECT ADDRESS FROM IFSAPP.PERS_COMMS4 WHERE COMPANY_ID = IFSAPP.COMPANY_PERSON.COMPANY_ID AND PERSON_ID = IFSAPP.COMPANY_PERSON.PERSON_ID) With this query, the job runs but returns only partial results and the following error: ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row As I understand it the Address field is a concatenation of multiple Address fields (Address1, Address2 etc). Is there a viable workaround this issue due to the nature of the Address field?I’ve also attempted a JOIN clause in the Database Informat

Hi all, it is not (by default) possible to add location and object based notes in the MWO Service Classic App.I can see the notes created in IFS Cloud, but I cant create anything else than a Task based note in the App.Is it possible to enable this somewhere? Thanks,Chris

Hello,We are using IFS Applications 10 UPD19. I have created a new Quick Report, but it is not accessible via our integration OData endpoint (/QuickReports.svc), resulting in a RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND error. Other, older Quick Reports are accessible through the same API endpoint. In the API Explorer, we can see a Default Application Type (Main) and a Compatibility Application Type (Int). Our Power BI connection uses the Int type. It seems the new Quick Report is not being published to the Int application type's metadata. When published they are supposed to be listed here below, and I do see my report if i open the Main application type, but not in the  Intone for the new report i published.Is there an additional step required to publish a specific new Quick Report to a Compatibility Application Type's OData service? A cache to refresh ? Thank you.

Hi All.Please help me,  I would like to set up the withholding tax on APP 8, as in Italy this needs to be handled separately. Could someone help me with this from the very beginning? The Italian equivalent is Ritenuta d'acconto, which can be applied at different percentages. What basic data settings are required? This should appear during the payment process, and is it controlled by transaction PP49?
