Hi.We’ve been doing some modifying via page designer on request of our users and updating some fields on the Service Contract page as “Required”. Setting fields in a Wizard will highlight a required field in red if its left empty, but this doesn’t seem to be the case on pages that do not include wizards as seen here: You can see the * next to the field name indicating its required, but even when blank its not highlighted in red. This is also the case for fields that are not custom.Are the fields not being highlighted on regular views because they’re not required for creating the pages content such as in a wizard, or is there a way to get these fields to also be highlighted? Thank you in advance.

We are trying to bill a customer for a service.  This will be an ongoing for at about 6 months, billing every other week (upon receiving Invoice from our contracted service company)  But this would be the first time doing this in IFS (23R1)  We really have not worked with field service module,  and would prefer not to at this time.  We just would like to generate an invoice for each time we complete a servicing particular customer.   Sorry for the ignorance on this topic.  Thank you for any help provided. 

Hi All,Need guidance on how to configure overtime banking in IFS. The requirement is that employees can choose to bank their overtime hours instead of being paid at the 1.5 rate. They should be able to save up to 40 hours per year. They may then take time off in lieu and also build the bank back up again within the same year. Employees should have the flexibility to either:Convert the banked overtime hours into Lieu Leave, or Receive a payout on a selected date.If anyone knows how to set this up in IFS or has experience with a similar configuration, please advise.Thank you! 

HiI am working on an integration IN IFS Cloud, where in PLSQL code I am getting the document from document management (as BLOB) and want to send it to Connect to be uploaded to ftp server using FTP_SENDER. I cannot find any method in PLSQLAP_SERVER_API that can handle BLOB message.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Please limit the amount of data and try again.”How am I supposed to avoid this ?Thank you

I have a question for clarification,  In any control plan there is an option “Attribute Qualification for Skip Lot” which can be toggled to ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, under “Acceptance Sampling Parameter” but the same field is not found on any of the templates that are created or saved.What is the logic behind it.Control Plan:  Control Plan Template:Not to be seen here,  Regards,

Hi,Our customer is experiencing issues with long-running online jobs, which fail after 10 minutes due to a timeout. The Network tab in DevTools shows a 504 Gateway Timeout error.Where can we configure or extend this timeout?  

HiWe are working in App9 SP11I have a reported problem where we have project demand for a particular part. When we run Project MRP for the project activity, it creates requisitions for other demands on the same activity, but not for this one specific part.I cannot see any issues with the part - it has the same config as for all the others.Is there a log for Project MRP? The background job doesn’t provide enough information. I’m hoping that that there is a log somewhere that might give a clue why this particular part demand is not being processed.

Therefore, the required time zone should be selected instead.Ireland uses Irish Standard Time (IST, UTC+01:00) during the summer months and switches to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT, UTC+00:00) in the winter.For customers in Ireland (and other European regions that observe daylight saving time), do they need to manually update the time zone in the Extended Site Info when the clocks change?Or is there an automatic mechanism that adjusts the time zone based on daylight saving time? Thanks in advance for any clarification!

We are implementing project manufacturing and installation in the construction industry for a client.Manufacturing is for long lead-time items and long manufacturing times. They purchase a large quantity of raw materials that are specific to the project. They charge their client for these raw materials at the time of arrival, and it becomes customer-owned at this point on a sales contract. Potentially a delay between manufacturing completion and installation of the finished goods.In their current solution:The cost of the raw material is posted directly to the profit and lost at the time of arrival. The raw material is broken out into multiple Cost of Sales Accounts by type and is also broken out into multiple Cost Elements for project costing. When looking at the typical manufacturing process in IFS we facing the following:The incoming raw material cost is posted to an inventory control account in the balance sheet. Likewise, finished goods inventory from Shop Orders is also posted to

I am trying to filter Start Date column and  in Lobby Element Designer using url like below. page/ShopOrders/List?$filter=RevisedStartDate ge #START_OF_THIS_MONTH# and RevisedStartDate le #END_OF_THIS_YEAR#   or page/ShopOrders/List?$filter=(RevisedStartDate ge ‘#START_OF_THIS_MONTH#’ and RevisedStartDate le ‘#END_OF_THIS_YEAR#’) , but kept getting and error. Not sure what could be the issue. Thank you very much in advance.  

Are Permission Sets data (Method Objects) stored in a table? I need to know where I can find this data? This shows a visual chech box of object method that are granted to a permission set. Where is this data stored?

Hi,I was trying to initiate a Hanover to a Request, though I get below error. My service organization is the one responsible for the service(Setup in the service catalog). Therefore, this error is meaningless as I see. Further, the error shows a Request id, which is very strange, because system does not create a new request (error stops processing any further). Also, this number increments with the attempts I do. Looks like this is a core bug. I wonder if someone has tried and has different opinion or confirmed by the product team that this is a bug?Thank you,Roshan  

Hi, in IFS Apps 10 (Update 6) when transferring a task to mobile from a Work Order, in the Transfer To Mobile window there are 2 checkboxes:Pool Work Order Pool - Keep TaskWhat does “Pool - Keep Task” do, and when would we use it? There is no help topic or other documentation I can find that explains what it does.Transfer to Mobile window in Apps 10. 

24R2 is the version. Customer Order Lines screen includes “Planner” as a field initially hidden, but which can be displayed. How can this field be included in the list of items one can filter on (i.e. … more .. checkbox).Any hints? Many thanks.Paul.

Hello IFS Community,I'm currently facing an issue when trying to increase the ‘Early Finish Date’ or the ‘Work Days’ of a Project Activity. And the same Activity is in ‘Released’ state and some transaction have been already reported. Would you kindly help if this can be avoided or what functional limitation is blocking me ?(using IFS APP10 Upd 22). Many thanks for all your kind suggestions 😊 Tried to increase until 2025-5-31 Summary of the cost transactions already reported on the above Activity.

Hi All,I created a task with “Allow Multiple Visit” = True and, as expected, it has more than one Visit ID. However, when I transfer it to mobile, the work assignment does not apply the configuration I need, which is active for MWO.Is there something missing in my setup, or is it not possible to have an MWO configuration for a Request Work Task when multiple visits are involved?Thanks  

All, We have set up the following history log on the INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_TAB.Availability control is the only attribute that I want to be logged at insert, update and delete. As insert is selected is this is why we are getting every transaction logged into the history as per below even though there is no value? I thought that the log only created when there is a value added to the field not when it is value is NULL, which it is when I check the DB.Any insight here much appreciated as this is now creating far too many records.Sarah

Simple question, can you, when provisioning a user, using SCIM from Azure link the user automatically to companies and Sites?https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/25r2/030_administration/010_security/025_scim/#user_attribute_mappingOr can you only create users and you have to add the companies manually?  

We are new to IFS Cloud and see that we do not have the option to have a Part Type that is BOTH for Manufactured and Purchased. We wanted to see what method is available to use to be able to drive the Manufacturing of a part, but also Purchase the part when we do not have the ability to MFG at that time.We also want to take into consideration inspecting the material when it is either manufactured or purchased.  Ideally, we would like to use the same Control Plan to inspect the product whether it is Manufactured in house or Purchased.
