I have been struggling to perform a fresh install of IFSAPP10 following the documentation here: Installing Fresh SystemIFS sent my team a vanilla deliverable.  When unzipped, the folder structure matches what is documented here: Folder Structure for Builds Following the Preparing IFS Applications section leads me to IFS Configuration Builder which is where I am getting stuck.  I understand that preparing the IFS application involves compiling source and preparing the database scripts for the installer.  The problem I am running into is that per the Configuring IFS Configuration Builder section, this requires a Customer Configuration File and a Release Repository Catalog neither of which I have nor will I have which means I cannot configure the IFS Configuration Builder.  I also found additional pages on How to Build Manually and Page: Create Build Structure And Compile, but neither provided much insight as to how to build manually with the directory structure I screenshotted above.  Th

Hi All,I use external file assistant to upload the credit card transactions to IFS. Accidentally i uploaded the same file twice how can i remove the duplicated transactions? I can see all the transactions in the credit card transactions window since all belong to non reimbursable credit card type. It is not allowed to delete the transactions from credit card transactions window since the card type is not re imburasableThanks in advance.

Hi, IFS Cloud version 24R2. (Below sample data are from a IFS Demo environment) In the RMA there are multiple lines (from a single customer order). Release → Approve for Credit Create Credit Invoice  View Credit Invoice Four separate invoices have been created. This is quite inconvenient/inaccurate as the customer has about 100 lines at times. Causing to create 100 credit invoices to the same Customer and Customer Order. Is there a possibility to create a single Credit Invoice for multiple RMA| lines ? Any setting or any other window for that ?

Hello all. I have acidently posted a serial part back to the inventory over a work order return. That was the first transaction for this part serial. As it was wrong I have issued it away from the stock over the work order material issue.Now we have received exactly this part - serial number over a purchase order from owr supplier. When I try to register the arrival (RMT receive with serial / Lots in the “Register Arrival” window) I receive the error message:So this serial part has current position “issued” and while we have activated the checkbox “Stop PO Arrivals of Issued Serials” by the Main Part, I receive this error message and cannot register the receipt of this serial.As I know if I will uncheck the checkbox and then register the rereceipt, it will not be possible to set the checkbox back. And I would like to keep this checkbox set, as I need the control, that we don”t post the same serial twice on the inventory.Is their any other possibility to register the receipt of this par

Client asking to get the possibilty to close the shop order while the MRB case is still being solved. I know the IFS doesn´t allow to do this, however anyone has any expirience with this issue?

I am working on a shortage report for shop orders material. I have a concept of if full required hasn’t been issued of that material by the date required and date required < today then its fine I can mark it as a shortage, I want to look for future shortages (90 days) and I am thinking how to do that? any ideas? how can I suspect if the future date required (Say 5 days from now) the part will be on shortage or not?The only thought I have his to check if the SO/PO is against that demand (but that too is confusing how to do..)

I am in the process of moving all custom events from Apps8 to Apps10. I am able  to get all custom events functioning after some modification except for events which call "Error_SYS.Record_General()"   When the event is triggered it displays this: https://i.ibb.co/m4Wf1vF/Error.png For instance the message above is displayed when a user changes the count in the "Count Per Inventory Part" screen but does not add a note : a note needs to be added as to why the count is being changed or else the record will not save. The Event Action is below: DECLAREBEGINIF( '&NEW:NOTE_TEXT' IS NULL) THENError_SYS.Record_General('Error','Please add a note in the "Notes" field '); END IF;END;   The body and declaration of Error_SYS.Record_General is the same in Apps8 as it is in Apps10 so my code is correct. Hi, I came across some questions in the Visual Shop Orders Planning screen in IFS Cloud. Appreciate your inputs to resolve those. Version  QuestionWhy the time line is showing only a few days in the week ? Can’t scroll back and forth to see other available days.?There are only 3 operations under this WC Resource. Why this 4th line is showing when there are no operations in that. Settings of the window/Gantt   Is it normal that the users have to refresh the screen after doing some changes in the Gantt, to properly reflect them ? (e.g., after a drag and drop the same operation is still showing at the previous time slot, only after a refresh it is removed from there) Is it possible to see Operations from “Interim Orders” (Interim Order Headers) in this planning screen ?  Any possibility to trigger MRP or Selective MRP from this planning screen?

HiI want to move/offset a parked payment (on company) to a supplier (Generating a payment on account). So I am creating a Mixed Payment (Suplier Payment) on 0 amount linked to a supplier. Then chose/match the Parked Payment from the list. The payment is now not balanced. When trying to approve, the system does ask if I want to create a Payment on account for the Supplier. Saying Yes to that.   Then I do approve the payment. But it does fail, saying:  “The matched amount is bigger than the payment amount in lumb sum”.  How can this be done?  I believe it worked in APPS 10.

How can I enable Technician Portal in IFS Cloud?  Currently the data is not present when I try to access the screens. Please share any configurations/ permission sets required.

In V14.5 we can add almost any module easily, to the home page and we use that to monitor things like when the status is a certain level for Service Orders or Quotations and so on.I can move them around and re-size them and set if they show in one column or two or three.In V15 the items I had already added to V14 were imported across into the Employee Portal but not to the Web Portal.  Also, in the Employee portal I cannot change how many columns they will show in. So my questions are:Can we set up the home page in V15 web Portal, similar to what was in V14 employee portal?  I can see standard widgets only but have not found how to add modules. In V15 Employee Portal, how do we set how many columns to be used? Each time I log in, I notice that the modules set on the home page get smaller (less long) and I have to manually pull them down again (or change the number of columns) but if I forget to do that, they eventually just show a header and I cannot see the data any more. I have enabled state machine in one of my newly introduced entity (Planned, Released, Completed, Cancelled). I have added relevant code changes to the .client and .projection and already defined Sync policies on .app file. Now I am facing an issue when changing status from MWO it’s locally changing but not Syncing to the IFS Cloud. All other fields working as expected but ‘Objstate’ doesn’t change..offline file MWO  IFS Cloud  I cannot see any failed transaction on the mobile as well.Any idea will be really appreciated. Thanks & Regards,Asanka.

Hi All, We are doing an XML integration to create customer orders via incoming customer orders in cloud 24R1. My question is, our customer is using different types of  Order Types to create customer orders.  Is there a standard method to add the Order Type to incoming customer orders as well because there is no Order Type filed in Incoming Customer Order record? Thank You.

Hi All,When employees are applying for absences, it is mandatory to attach a supporting/proof document for the absence type of Medical Leaves. For the other absence types, it is not mandatory. Do we have any standard core functionality in IFS cloud to make attachments are mandatory for specific absence types when absence registration.Regards,MalinG.

Problem:There is a setting in Company\Invoice\General called “Based discount on Gross amount” meaning that the payment discount is either calculated over the Gross amount (ON) or over the invoice amount ex. tax (OFF). However, this applies to both customer invoices as well as supplier invoices. Currently we have the situation where we have some suppliers calculating the payment discount over the invoice Gross amount and some which calculate it over Nett invoice amount. Needless to say this should be a setting on the payment terms, not a single setting set for an entire company.  Does anyone else have issues with this?
