Is it possible to create financial periods for all companies globally

I’m trying to create a custom field on Customer Order Line which returns the sum of total Available qty across multiple sites.  We have parts in stock on multiple sites so the sales team would like to see, when raising an order on the ‘main’ sales site, if there is available stock on any of the other sites in the same company.  This works when running a query in PL/SQL ...(selectsum(IFSapp.Inventory_Part_In_Stock_API.Get_Inventory_Quantity  (contract,part_no,configuration_id,'AVAILTRANSIT','NOT EXPIRED','NETTABLE','CONSIGNMENT','COMPANY OWNED', NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,'PICKING','F','MANUFACTURING','PALLET','DEEP','BUFFER','DELIVERY','SHIPMENT',NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,'TRUE','FALSE',NULL,'*'))from inventory_part_in_stock IPISwhere ipis.CONTRACT IN ('ABC','ABD') AND       ipis.PROJECT_ID is null ANDIPIS.part_no = colc.part_no) … but when adding as a custom field (even when only joining on part number - IPIS.part_no = :part_no) the field only returns the available qty in the site the Cu

Dear Community, @Jens (you're a DMM guru I've been told ;))When using in Cloud 22R1 the Data Migration Manager, deploying the object Suppliers [SUPPLIER_GENERAL_INFO], we face an error when the output container is deployed, during the deployment: "Field [ON_NEW] is mandatory for Deploy Definition Attributes and requires a value.”In the target table definition this field ON_NEW is not available. Has anyone seen this error before and has a solution to fix it? At the moment we can't deploy the data to the target environment.

Hi,I’ve generated an access view for the FACT_PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE information source.We have a requirement to also be able to query Supplier for Purchase Part data - I’ve created a Quick Dimension called QDIM_PURCHASE_PART_SUPPLIER, which I’d like to generate an access view for. I understand that the dimension must be linked to an information source fact, but I can’t figure out how to actually connect the two.I’ve tried adding the dimension on the Information Sources screen but I get an error because there isn’t a dimension ID in the fact table to join on.I’ve also tried to do it via the Custom Dimension Connections screen, but I get the following error:It think it’s possible as I spotted a screenshot in the documentation where you can clearly see some quick dimensions connected to a fact table.Thanks in advance!

Hi, In an external Repair order, if you realize a vendor exchange, then after the receipt of the part sent by the vendor, in the RP you can select “Return to stock” in the lookup of the field “Product disposition” (resolve screen). But if you realise the product exchange through a Bulk PR, then after the receipt of the part sent by the vendor, in the RP you don’t have anymore the option “Return To stock”. Why it is not possible in this case to return the product to inventory ?Thanks by advance 

We are looking into using Package Part with service contracts. When I try to add a package part as a billable invoice plan item, I do not get any hits in list of value for the parts. Is this a limitation, meaning package parts cannot be used with service contract?  

We are seeing a number of failed e-mail messages out of IFS.  We are on Apps 10 UPD16.The error we are seeing on the outgoing messages is “SMTP Send Failed Exception, concurrent connection limit exceeded.”.  We are checking the limits allowed though exchange.Our issue is that in IFS connect the settings we have against MAIL_SENDER1 is MAX RETRIES = 60 and RETRY INTERVAL = 60.  With these settings in IFS Connect I think the Failed application messages should be retried every 60 seconds on 60 attempts, but this does not appear to be happening.Any assistance hear would be appreciated.

Hello Community!I’m assisting with an IFS upgrade, and the topic of Lobby pages came up. Try as I might, I’m not able to do anything other than view IFS-provided Lobby pages in the post-upgraded instance. I’ve made sure to grant the related presentation objects (EE_LOBBY_DESIGN, EE_LOBBY_VIEW, EE_LOBBY_IN_CONTEXT_EDIT, EE_LOBBY_IN_CONTEXT_VIEW) although I would think just the EDIT and DESIGN POs would be appropriate by themselves.After confirming all 4 presentation objects were granted, assigned the permission set to the subject user, refreshed the security cache and then logging back in produces the same issue of not being able to perform any management nor modification of the any of the IFS Lobby objects.When I enter in the URL for the Data Source Designer in IFS IEE (bypassing the Navigator), I receive a security error and a more interesting one stating that the Lobby Designer Tools are not installed.Has anyone else encountered this sort of issue before, and if so, what was the reso

I have created a permission set which contains the FND_WEBENDUSER_B2B and custom functional role which has granted the projections EquipmentObjects, OrderServiceEndCustomer and ServiceRequest.I log into B2B and “order service” via the service center lobby (<baseurl>/b2b/ifsapplications/web/assistant/OrderServiceEndCustomer/OrderAService;$action=LobbyPageName...). I fill in the form with all necessary data and attach a document (14KB PDF file). Hi, Anyone ever encountered the same case with me? When I applied control plan template to a control plan, acceptance sampling detail on header and line were copied incomplete. Where Acceptance Sampling, AQL, Inspection Level and other details. I tried to reproduce with different scenarios, the result always the same.Was it happened to IEE as well?Control Plan Template with Setting of Acceptance Sampling for Attribute and VariableAcceptance Sampling of applied template ID did not copied properly (incomplete) to Control PlanControl Plan Template Line with detail of Acceptance Sampling (AQL)Applied Control Plan Template Line did not fully copied to control plan. Hi all, Wondering if anyone has dealt with unreceiving a part in IFS. Specifically, let’s say there is the following scenario: Receiver in warehouse receives items on PO 12345. After completing receiving, it is discovered that something is wrong with part/they over received/or something else causing the need to “Unreceive” parts.  Does anyone have this function turned on in IFS and if so, do you have some pros & cons and best practices on dealing with these situations?Any information on what potential implications could arise from unreceiving - first thought is Finance with invoicing, etc.  Thank you,Steph

Hello all!We have observed that the DSE frequently changes the tasks’ allocation to new resources, occurring every 2-3 minutes. So, we want to set a lower allocation frequency.Is there a way to configure the DSE to adjust the allocation process to occur at a lower frequency, say every 10 or 20 minutes? Are there any additional configurations or adjustments that can be made to achieve a lower allocation frequency?If anyone has experience or knowledge in this area, your guidance would be highly valuable. Thank you in advance for your assistance and expertise!

Hi, In IFS Apps 10 you could select ‘System Info’ on the bottom bar which would show you the page view you were looking at. I would use this to set up a data source for that page. How can you do this in IFS Cloud?

Hi!We’re running FSM 6.5 and recently moved our FSM installation to a new server.  Our production environment is up and working fine, but we’re having an issue with our dev environment.In Dev, when opening any request I get the error “Unrecognized business object 'Payment'”Dev is an exact copy of prod so I’m not sure why this is happening.  The request screen in both environments does reference the Payment table.  And the table exists in both DB’s & FSM metadata.The only thing that I know IT did differently on the new server is they updated the web.config file so I can now select Prod or Dev from the dropdown on the login screen.  Previously I had two separate clients.  Could it be related to that?Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

Hello, I am currently attempting to create a custom field that stores the Customer PO number (found on the customer order entity) for this quotation. As far as I’m aware, you can create a service quotation from a customer order or a work order. If I have the link for both of these, I can create this custom field, but currently, I don’t see a connection to do this. There is one entity called ServieQuotationConn which seems like exactly what I need, but out of the hundreds of service quotes we have, there is only one returned row in this SERVICE_QUOTATION_CONN view. I can attempt to pull the PO number from any customer orders that have the same order number as the service quote, but this doesn’t help with the work order created ones. Does anyone know where the information I need is stored? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Are there any examples on how to use (ITS) INET_TRANS to send Purchase Orders? I have read the documentations but I need help connecting the dots. Can someone provide me some guidance? What is needed if we want the output the Order to a file as xml?Thanks? 

In IFS 10 Aurena, we’ve just kicked off our QC dept and what we found is that entering analysis results is very tedious because we have to enter one line at a time instead of it being a table view that we can enter in each variable at the same time. Is there an overview screen to look at the inspection results for an Analysis Result for a shop order in Aurena Cloud? Basically, is this screen or interface any better in cloud than it is in Aurena 10? IFS 10 Analysis Result, I can just click in the next one and enter results. At the top when I’m done, we “Complete All Registered Results”.Aurena 10, We can only “Enter and View Results” for one Analysis result line at a time. If I highlight multiple, I can’t look at multiple and I can’t enter results on this overview. It takes us 10 minutes each time we have to register inspection results in Aurena 10 in comparison to IEE. 

Hi All,Need your kind advice.My company is using IFS version 8. We tried create depreciation proposal for period 12 of 2023. They successfully created this; however, they said the depreciation amount is incorrect. Upon checking on of the asset object as below example, you can see that the amount generated for depreciation period 12 have an unordinary amount. I have taken a look at depreciation proposal history for period 12 of 2023, it seem the factor and Eval factor is different from usual. Below for your reference. I suspect that this might be the cause of issue We have tried to rollback the depreciation and create new depreciation proposal but the issue remained. Can you help to advice on how to rectify this? above show incorrect depreciation amount for P12  As per checked, for some reason factor is calculated using factor Residual and eval factor 0 instead of usual factor and eval factor as in the previous periodI suspect this causing the incorrect depreciation amount. Hi,I would like to know whether we can select only a necessary set of Action Usages from a certain Projection action and give only access to perform those selected Action Usages to a users.In this example I want to give a set of users only the access to Reserve and Create Picklist in shipment handling.
