Is there any way to kep the Reports stay in the Reprot archive for 3-5 days

Hi, We are keeping this to YES so currently rewriting all of our Quick Report in UPD20.For most we can do by Concating (||) the variable with a ‘%’ to have the parameter as a wildcard.The issue is if we have any variable, wildcard or not, in the group statement. The error  NOT A GROUP BY EXPRESSION is given.Has anyone experienced this / rewritten sucessfully?

Hello,I’ve created custom attributes on the entity BusinessOpportunity : I’ve made a custom event « ON_OPPORTUNITY_CREATION_TS », but inside impossible to find my custom attribute (i want to export it via an API):I don’t know how to add it. And when i try a quick report (SELECT * FROM BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY) i don’t find my custom either. Regards,Pierrick 

Hi All, I have created a Work Task on Service Quotation in IFS Cloud and looking to edit the Planned Hours for the resources. However the planned hours are retrieved based on the duration of the work task.  Is there a way for the resources to have different planned hours for the work task on service quotation?  

Apps10IEEScenario: Shop order operation is for a quantity of 10. Emp 1 will complete 6 and Emp 2 will complete 4. They cannot be part of a static team (I think) because they normally would not work on the same shop order at the same time. They will probably start and finish at different times.We just purchased SFWB licenses. I am making sure we are doing this the most efficient way possible. So far I have:Emp 1 Starts ProductionEmp 2 Uses Modify Ong Op to join the operationEmp 1 uses Approve Op and changes Qty to Report to 6 and does not close operation and does not stop clockings because Emp 2 is still working on the operation.Emp 1 then uses Modify Ong Op to leave the operation.Is there any way for Emp 1 to report a qty complete and leave the operation at the same time instead of doing it in two steps as I have above?Thanks

Hi Experts, I’ve come across an issue where customer is having problems with Web client and Tech portal (It’s the only web client portal they use) and it is showing Http 500 error. Customer has FSM6U9 and they have implemented this on a new server for UAT testing.We have confirmed that they have installed “dotnet-hosting-3.1.12-win.exe” and other runtimes. We have checked if there are any IIS errors on the Windows event viewer and there aren’t any. Problem is ,even when we try to access web client from IIS manager itself using browse application option, it still shows this Http 500 error which means localhost doesn’t work for any web client. However their smart client is working fine.What are the possible causes for this ? What needs to be checked further ? Quick reply would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance !!!

How to remove special characters when using INET_TRANS for XML. What is the best way to remove special like ‘& < >’ and others. These might appear in a description or an address field and they create errors in the output xml file. This is from Send_Purchase_Order xml. Is there a systematic process to keep these characters from going to xml?  

Hi,We have been using Aurena for a year and have recently moved to Apps10 UPD19.We have noticed that a Multi Field property that has 15 fields is only offering 10 fields and the validity period in Aurena.  The missing fields are not available in the field picker.:  This is the configuration of that Multi Field Property (I have tried moving the TLP field up a few to see if it appears - it didn’t):I also had a look at page designer and it did seem to have 15 fields defined.Has anyone else spotted this and is there a solution/workaround? ThanksPaul

Hi All,I am trying to add a custom tab to the standard page 'Shipment'.The content of the tab should be a group, based on a custom entity that also has the Shipment Id as an attribute.I tried to add this the same way a tab with a list is added but it does not work.Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. This is the custom entity   Thank you

Create an activity in a sub project in Sub Project Scope and Schedule and try to copy it and paste it in a different sub project. Try saving records but error pops up “Activity already exists.The reason for this is having the previous Activity Short Name assigned for the pasted Project Activity. If it is removed, the record can be saved and the system assigned a new activity short name. When the activity count increases, this manual work would be time consuming.This is not a critical bug, but with this issue copy - pasting activities in this page become not usable. Is a fix for this issue already planned?  

We have created an IFS cloud cluster on remoter deployment with 3 nodes and a Load Balancer, but I am not able to open the landing page with the local hostname, How can I verify if my application is working fine? and all pods are in running statusI am getting an error “default backend - 404” 

IFS package is using microk8s on VM.Does anybody have the documentation in order to install IFS using native Kubernetes cluster ?I mean, I’ve already a kubernetes setup, how can I deploy IFS on it ?Same question with cloud kubernetes solution such as EKS, GKS, AKS ?Thanks

Hey Community, For a Non-Inventory Purchase Part, User by mistake created a inventory part. Now they want to disconnect the inventory part and delete it. This is a old part so they cannot create a new one and make the wrongly created one as inactive. Any idea here? Reagrds,Jewel

Currently our app param SHOW_SERVER_TIME_ONLY is set to "Y" because since our users are placed and often travel all around the world, we realized it's easier for them to set a time in the application --for instance, the beginning of a labor entry on some day at 08:00 AM, because the technician started working at 8:00 local time in his current working location--, that then will be saved as 08:00 AM UTC time in the server, and then other users from any other part of the world would conveniently see "8:00 AM" in the application.Let's consider a scenario where I'm searching for labor entries filtering the start datetime using the ">today" filter. The documentation states that the search variable "today" means "the current date with a time of 00:00", without specifying if "00:00" is in my local time zone or in UTC. Currently, regardless of the value of SHOW_SERVER_TIME_ONLY, the filter "today" works depending on my current time zone. For example, if I'm currently in the time zone UTC -07

Hello, Is there an option to “lock” document classes, so people need a password to open and view specific documents? As example, sick-leave documents in My Absense Calendar or medical expeses in Expense Sheets?Besides the “Restriction” which have in place on some documents, but if you are in that group, you can see all the documents, we need to limit that further. So person A can see document 1, 2, 3 and 4. But Person B can only see 3, 4 and 5  Thanks,Michael

Hi,It is highly probable that from 24R1 PLSQL blocks will not be available in Custom Events but also as DataSource for Lobby elements. What is the planned solution for customers (Apps 9 10, current Cloud) who have created complex solutions and advanced lobbies based on this functionality (it has been available in IFS for a number of years now). This should be communicated long ahead since PLSQL block in Events are commonly used even in Cloud projects that are currently in presales and implementation phase. Thanks in advance for the guidelines. Adam Kallnik 

I created migration job named “PURCH_REQ_MIGRATE_MNTJ”. But the user can not see this. How can I activate the migration job to the user.  Or should I confirm the permission set?  

Hi, we have recently updated to apps10 U20 and have noticed some of our quick reports that use a wildcard inside a parameter no longer works and returns no data found. before this update the user could leave a parameter blank when using the quick report.  I.e WHERE  T.SHIPMENT_ID LIKE '%&SHIPMENT_ID%' is there a system setting to allow this search function to work? as a work around we have removed the % wildcards for now.

One of the customers is facing challenge with balancing the posting proposal of manual supplier invoice, due to header currency rate is not the same with posting information line currency rate.Error message ID: Accounting Currency not BalancedError Details: Net amount in accounting currency ####.## does not match with posted amount ####.## in accounting currency SEK. This line currency rate cannot be manually edited and only relevance of this currency rate is that it is the rate on original created date of the attached invoice. But the customer has not ticked the “Use File Transaction Date as Voucher Date checkbox” in external supplier invoice parameters window at the time of voucher creation. Please help to share your ideas and any known reason/solution for this issue. What options are there to change the current position of a part serial to “Unlocated”? Is it completely controlled by actions taken in the system? Can it be modified manually?  thanks!

How is it possible to revalue the weighted Average costed part?Imagine a scenario where the inventory part is set up at Weighted average and made several receipts. The part has been in inventory for several years without any recent transactions. Now the business understands the value of the stock has gone down. Is there a way to revalue the inventory so that the previous value will change and the lost value charged against PnL. This is possible under standard cost.. but the concern is how to do this under Weighted average method.
