Training Material for Projects for IFS Cloud.I’m trying to find training materials for Project Management for IFS Cloud.  There is some in the academy but they’re related to specific areas of Project Management, not the general project management.  We have material named Project Management under Apps 10.  Does anyone know of an equivalent to what’s in Apps 10 for IFS Cloud?Thank youPatrick

When the arrival (Receipt) is done in IFS for a PO in CNY, does it use the currency rate on the PO or does it use the active currency rate in IFS (Currency Rate) screen?  Example, the PO was created in September 2023 at a currency rate of 7.298001 and then received in January 2024 at 7.180801.  Does it use the 7.298001 or the 7.180801?  I am thinking it uses the 7.180801, but want to confirm.  Thanks  Bob Both

Hello, I’m trying to understand the forecast consumption logic for a scenario where you have a Customer Order raised & delivered in between running MS Level 1 calculations. I ran a test and I’m not 100% sure I understand some of the system behavior. I set a part to have a forwards consumption of 10 days, backwards consumption of 0 days and ran MS Level 1 Calc with some existing data: I then created a new Customer Order for QTY 2 with a planned delivery date of 20/02/24, but then immediately released, picked & delivered it today (14/02/24). I then re-ran MS Level 1: I can see the on-hand has reduced from 13 to 11 - OKThe forecast value itself has reduced from 5 to 3 on 19/02/24 - I wasn’t expecting this...Why does the forecast number itself reduce rather than just showing as consumed?Why did this change the forecast data on the 19/02/24 and not the forecast data on 16/02/24? Edit to add some more parameters:DTF = 0 daysPTF = 15 Days5 day/week calendar

HiI know when we call IFS projection action passing json message, the framework parses json into plsql record type then in the plsql code for the action, we deal with this record. I have situation where customer wants to save request json message to clob column then process it in the background. Is there any framework plsql utility that can convert plsql record to json and vise versa ?Thanks

Hi,We have implemented various custom projections and have a customer requirement to store the request and response payloads into a custom log table. Some payloads can be quite large so we have set these table fields to be of CLOB type.Is there an easy way to convert the request and response payloads (which are of pl/sql record type) into a JSON CLOB format? Currently the only way we know of is to create the JSON from scratch using the values retrieved from the payloads. Is there some sort of utility, package or some other method that can be used to easily do the conversion?Thanks!

Hi all,  I would appreciate input and/or advice from someone more experienced than me. Below I’m describing an example. Example:  “Closing” Org.unit1,  with validity period 2023-01-01 - 2024-01-31 Creating a new org unit with validity period 2024-02-01 - 9999-12-31, with same supervisor and employees as in org. unit 1. Changing the assignments on each employee accordingly.  The problem is that we still have time transactions that hasn’t been authorized within the validity period for org unit 1.  The supervisor cannot authorize or even access the employees for unit 1 after 2024-02-01 when the assignment for org unit 1 has passed validity date.  I guess this is all normal and as it should be so my questions are: can we use two valid assignments for the supervisor, one for org unit 1 and one assignment for the new org unit? Can this create any issues or problems that I should be aware of?  What is best practice in these common situations? Which assignment should be primary since both can’

They have applied the IFS Cloud 22R2 LTU permission set (EMP_AND_MGR_SELF_SERVICE_LTU_22R2.xml), and they are using the Approval Process functionality in Document Management.They have enabled Approval Routing for Logical Unit “PersonnelRequisition” in the Object Connections screen so that they can see the Approval Process option in Human Capital Management/HCM Services/ Recruitment/Recruitment Requisition Details – Admin screen/Attachment Panel Image 01They want only HCM personnel to be able to add "New Approval Step" or use "Copy Approval Template". Normal users shouldn’t be able to use these buttons.However, they are not able to remove these buttons using Configuration Context (As the approval steps are coming in Attachment Panel) and since normal users are having access, there is a risk of users modifying the approval steps.Is there any method to enable access only for a limited user group for these two buttons "New Approval Step" & "Co

Hi,I have upgraded a test environment to 6.12.0.15.Everything in terms of services etc. are working. However I am having an issue with the PSO Workbench. I can see Error’s stating there is an Invalid Time Value. Everything in terms of set-up sys params etc. have remained the same, but post updated the Workbench is throwing this error and when in the workbench I cannot see Resources, Activities, Events, Applications etc.In the scheduling workspace the time is showing as;I have a regular time update set to go from FSM also to move the day along. Any idea what I have done wrong? Ady

Doing an MES integration. Looking through the API explorer, I cannot find an API that will allow us to start run time/ set up time as a team. We find plenty of start Machine Clockings, or labor clockings. Hi, Could you give us the rule to allocate parts in the Allocation Batch module, because with the sorting method « Due Date », it doesn’t produce the expected results. The Due date of the documents listed in the Allocation Batch module  is not taken in account to allocate products. In V14 it was OK.  In Log Viewer, I don’t find any order_by Due Date. I have just found a sort on the last reception date in bins, regarding I think the bins to choose when a demand quantity can be allocated from different bins. But no sort by Due Date.Thanks for your helpPhilippe

Does anyone know of an Entity Relationship Diagram for IFS Cloud?  What I am trying to do is link between RentalObject and the EquipmentSerial entities and CustomerOrder.I need to add a read-only field to RentalObject that returns the Serial Number of the Rented Object. Any idea if this is possible? 

Hi , Please note that we receive below error when cancelling the shop order. We have cancelled all the DOP orders attached to the shop order. Furthermore we have removed all the material lines attached to the shop order as well. But still we get the above error in the system.  Expecting an answer from the experts! Thank You,Yukthila

Apps 10 UPD14.It has been noticed that some of our companies have 6 Ageing Buckets and some companies have 4  and some have none. Does anybody know why this would be the case and any idea how we can make all companies have the default 6 Ageing Bucket.It seems it is not possible just to add them in the client but in the BUCKETS_API method, it seems it is possible to add..    

Hi!Is there a way to pass a value into a client script that’s called with the executeScript() function with the Smart Client?I’d like to use a script like a function.  Pass a value in and get a result out.The last time I tried this I used a non-database field on the screen to store a value.  The downside to this was the client would ask the user to save when the value changes even though “In Database” was unchecked for the field in custom metadata.Thanks,

When we execute a transport task in IFS 10.9 the default transport task report automatically prints.Is there a way to disable this?

We use the Credit Card interface to send credit card transactions to our payment processor, PayPal.Mastercard has added more bin numbers for their cards, so we need to update Credit Card Verification basic data to accept the new bin numbers. Mastercard used to only be 51-55, but now they also have numbers from 2221 - 2720.The way the basic data is currently structured, we have to enter a line for every number in a range and it’s corresponding valid length.Is there a way to enter bin prefixes as a range of numbers like they’re defined from the credit card company instead of keying in 500 new lines?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to modify a projection file (ExampleHandling-Cust.projection). An entity action. When working in the IFS developer studio the action will have an error that the action is not implemented. entity action with code analysis errorWhen I look at the projection core layer files (22R2 core files downloaded from build place), even these have this error for entity actions. Is there a way to tell the static code analyzer to skip this validation? Due to this error being categorized as a priority2 issue, it will not allow me to deploy the change. As far as I can tell the implementation should be correct now. Thanks,Lavon

Hello, I have noticed an issue with several DOs between my Sites where they now appear to be showing a Planning Delivery Date of Sunday.  The planned receipt date is Monday.However my delivery routes are setup for Tuesday and Thursday.I am not sure why the system keeps proposing a delivery date during non working hours. Is there another parameter it may be looking at that is causing this behavior? Any guidance would be appreciated. 

Hello,We have noticed that some of our customers' data is not included when IFS recopies environments (e.g. PROD to UAT).In fact, our customer had a system parameter which was present in the PROD environment, but which did not appear in the destination environment after the recopy.I'd like to know whether IFS performs a dump when recopying or whether a script excluding certain tables is executed?If so, can you provide us with the list of tables excluded during recopying?Thanks in advance.
