Hello All, A customer is asking the following:“I have a Purchase Order that was partially received, where on the Purchase Order can I see the “Remaining Quantity” that is to be received from the vendor?” The only solution I have found is the “Purchase Receipts History” window and the “Receipts” window shows how many were originally ordered and how many were already received. With some basic math I can figure out many are remaining to be received. This seems like basic functionality to view the “Remaining Quantity” on a Purchase Order. Hi All,When we are performing currency revaluation process, two vouchers will be created. For example, when we run the currency revaluation on 31/10/2023 , reversal voucher will be created on 31/10/31 and new voucher will be created to 1/11/2023. This is for the month end transactions. How it will be like when we run the currency revaluation at year end. Does the system has new voucher for new financial year? What will be the impact of currency revaluation for the new financial year. 

Lobby Element header titles are cut off and not word wrapping. How do you enable word wrapping for titles?   

I am having some trouble setting up the environment where I can carry forward PTO future dated.  In the absence limit year I have set up the PTO Balance type limit and the PTO carry forward Balance limit for 2023.  However when I attempt to test by inserting absences for the 2023 year the remaining balance does not carry forward to the 2024 year.  I would like to be able to set a PTO balance of 80 hours for the 2023 year and insert 60 hours of absence to see if the remaining balance will add to the carry over when I attempt to enter absences in the 2024 year.  Does anyone know if I am able to set up carry forward for the future and see the balances or does the carry forward only apply to the previous year?

Dear Community,We had to update the IFS application with a new database connection details.So we deleted the instance using installer and the created a new instance.After creating the new instance i just noticed that the inventory.xml file doesn’t contain record of middleware mws and http oracle homes.I think I need to execute  below scripts to attach Oracle Homes.\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\mws\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\http\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd Would it be possible to know whether it is normal to not to create those records in inventory.xml when creating a new instance from installer.Do we need to run the scripts to create those missing lines of the inventory.xml after each new instance creation.We would highly appreciate your comments on this.Thank you in Advance.

Community, Can IFS handle below scenario? A puchased package parts, on purchase order line, enter only the top package part no, then system will auto fill all the children parts into the purchase order line orsystem will take care all the children parts as what it does for Sales Package Part? Thank you.

Hello everyone,I created a Toggle Button within an entity called “ManufPartAttribute” and another Toggle Button in another entity called “ShopOrd”. So now I want both to be in sync.  In other words, when the first Toggle Button is active the second one moved to active status also and visa versa. Hi, I have a standard page Posting Control Details with control types. I created new control type in database 'CMEE1':  The problem is that when creating a new record, the list of values is not available: If I turn on the page designer, the list of values for this column is available:  Why is the list of values for this column not available in the standard view (when the page designer is closed)?

How can I update the default (*) routing from a set of alternates?   For example, I have a new machine which is now the preferred manufacturing route.  The old machine is still in use and is a valid routing, so I won’t retire this routing and up rev.  I’ll create an alternate routing for the new machine at the current rev, but I want to make this my default.   Using IFS V9

Hi,I would like to run this use case : 1/ Create a prospect (a person)2/ Create a Customer (not active)3/ Create a Quote Contract4/ Add New OOS (Installed item) to the contract5/ Send the quote to the customer for Validation.Is it possible to define a contract quotation as an opportunity  ? (or opportunity are only for sales order)A sale or installation is not needed, because, the installed item is already on the customer site.The customer only want a contract quotation to change his current service provider to a new one who will manage the maintenance for installed items. Thanks and regards antony

Is it possible to remove time from date parameters?I see the ability to change this in System Parameters/Event Management. Would this take out the time from our dates if I changed it here? We do not want to choose or see the time when selecting dates. 

Hello, everyone!Is anyone familiar with IFS Cloud 21R2's digital signature feature in Document Management?I was trying the below steps to setup the digital signature.Created a new document using the above document class with the document number DS_<USERNAME>, where <USERNAME> will be the name of the IFS User. Added a new custom event action to the system defined event “DOCUMENT_APPROVED”. Added a Keystore with self-signed certificate  When approving the document, it created an application message with message function “DOCMAN_DIG_SIGN”The application message is keep failing even though the input data is passing properly.DOCMAN_DIG_SIGN.jsonThe history is getting updated in the document revision even though the signature has not been attached to the pdf.I hope somebody can give us a word of advice on this matter.@deshan.ekanayake @Mathias Dahl Your help is much appreciated.Thanks

We had a power outage yesterday due to a storm.  We had to shut down all of our servers.  I just noticed that the Alliance process flow named ASTEA_CleanupLocks has not been running for a while.  I tried to restart it but received the following error message.I am seeing a large number of records in the ap_lock table.  Questions: Does this process flow clear old locks and should it always be enabled? Does this work with v15.4 SU2 Is there other methods of clearing old locks?

Community,Would like to know where to set up voucher type linked to AFP? AFP voucher type is already set up in the system. when submitting the AFP, the voucher type is just not showing up, nor in the drop down list. 

Hello,For specific advance invoices that come from our online store processing, we’d like that these invoices get automatically set to “PostedAuth”. Hi All!We runned into a Purchase Requisition with an duedate which we could not understand.Hope someone in the community can help explain this.It seems somehow that MRP is not creating an requisition with dueadate earlier than an already existing Purchase Order.This is the scenario step by step:We had an customer order(-5902), which was placed well ahead. And we ordered the parts for that order, also well ahead. (duedate 15-5-2024, And Purchase Order-57 was created, also duedate 15-05) well ahead order placed, and PO released (MRP executed) So far as expectedLater, another customer ordered the same part. Hi,With the new update (1.0.7) for IFS Notify Me 10. I can't use the application. It shows an error "Download IFS Account Manager to use with your IFS account". The Account Manager application is already installed on my device. I removed both IFS Notify Me 10 and Account Manager. Then, I installed them. Still shows the same error.
