Hi All,Need your advice.My organization is using IFS version 8As per subject, we have a situation where we issue partial advance invoice to customer order for the purpose of prepayment (usually 10%) from the entire customer order amount. However, when we closed the order and issue the rest of the invoice amount, the system take out full amount of the customer order. Example as below:The total customer order amount is 901152.00 and 10% of the amount is 90115.20. Supposedly, the balance of the invoice amount should be 811,036.50 ​​​​​ Can anyone help to advice how to make sure that the rest of customer order amount invoice is offsetting advance invoice amount?Regards,Mirza

I am trying to add a Serial No reference to a checklist through either API or a custom import template. The import template I have tried to create just fails. One of the customers have reported that they are seeing the below attached error when navigating to the "My Time Registration" and "My Time Registration - Grid View" Screens. They have seen this issue after the SU8 was applied to the customer environment.I spun up a new DEV Environment in the Build Place and I was able to recreate the above issue for the same customer. I believe this might be something to do with Metadata, because I could not find any invalids in the DB as well. While analyzing project performance, i stumbled across these metrics..   

We have multiple requests coming in from the sales team for material reservations against forecasted POs from customers down the line ~ 1 month/2 month/etc. What is the best way to execute this request through IFS10. Currently our warehouse planner executes manually reservations with an Excel log which is cumbersome and not effective.

Hello Everyone! When we check the IFS Cloud 23R2 tech docs it says non-multitenant databases are not supported.There is a customer who is planning to upgrade from IFS apps 9 to IFS Cloud 23R2 and wish to use a single instance database instead of a multitenant.Would there be any issues (such as core upgrade issues and etc) with the support from IFS if they go with a single instance database? Thanks in Advance 🙂Best Regards,Rayan

This warning message appears when trying to make a Product Structure buildable, only appearing for some new Structures not all.  I have tried to recreate warning message in my test environment by adding phantom parts to new Product Structure but won’t work.  

We want to update an EventMonitor/Query Profile in the ETM. This would run on a weekly basis to show last weeks closed calls. the fields that would change would be the action date to and from. We are struggling to get the ETM to recognise the Query Profile. We know we can query Query profiles using REST like this - assystREST/v2/queryProfiles/1514?onBehalfOfUser=aliashas. So assumed it would be similar with the ETM. Any Suggestions on what to try? 

Am I missing something?  This is one example.  There are other screens similar I find.  When I open the Purchase Order screen why is “Order Number” not one of the default search selectors?  Is this an unusal request?  Another ‘pet peeve’ would be that I have to re-select this Order No search field every time I open the screen.  Is there any way to ‘save’ which search options have been selected previously?  It’s such a waste of time/so inefficient.    Thanks!

Dear all, we are having installed UPD20 in our DEV instance of IFS10. This updated contains some difficulties with PDF straight printing from Windows. Now we are thinking to  get Upd22 and install it straight into TEST instance to check if all issues are gone. THe problem is that our current TEST contains UPD18 and release 44. Would it be possible to jump over Upd20, 21 and go straight to UPD22 in our TEST? How can I get information “GB” in this place? I don’t know where in IFS I need to put the information. I can see in the transformer that the file will take the data out of IFS if it is there. See attachment for ex. The picture is from the bank that tells me that i need to put in GB. I think it is somewhere on the bank the information must be, but I can’t figure it out. 

Hi Experts, I have set the and checked following are correct as required in the cloud env. parameter location_on_demand_mode= fine GPS allowed is set to yes in applications in SERVICEENGAPP In “Installed app details”, App GPS enabled is set to YesAnd then from MWO app for the service object I go and click on update map position and set position which gives an message as “object map position updated with retrieved device location”But when I go and check in screen “device location”, there is no relevant record with Lat/long values Could someone please help me on this to understand where it can go wrong? Thanks,Hesh.

We are on the road to use Cloud but one functionality that is no longer available in Cloud is the Keyword Search or Search Domains. There is already a post that you can upvote for IFS to reintroduce or provide us with a search-like capability similar to this feature- Reintroduce Enterprise Search-like capability for IFS Cloud | IFS Community. Has anyone found an alternative solution in the mean time?

Community,When checked in the new document, IFS will name the document like “B100-R000026GEN-1-A1-1.TXT”.  it is composed of document class+ document no+ Revision+ ….my question is, is possible to have it appended with document title? Thank you.

If one uses a site, a field in Sales is the Discount Type:Anyone an idea what the functionality is behind this field?We are using IFS23R2.I understand that the discount types can be found in Customer Order > Lines > Line Details > Order Line Discount.Question is: where do we find the Discount Type as set at Site level back in functionality?
