Hello.I was asked to add an approval process on the work center screen (link : ifsapf:frmWorkCenter ) but I don’t know well how IFS works on that. Is that possible to make an approval process on such a screen? By clicking on attachments, I can only see “media” 

In a report rule, in order to format a link into the email message I would need to use a semicolon.It seems this is not possible in the report rule? Any workarounds for this?Report rule setup The messages field needs to include a formatted url to the customer order so I tried thisI even tried to add in stead of ; this [&SELECT CHR(59) AS result FROM dual] but that results in the same problem that the report rule engine is splitting up after the semicolon?Would there be a workaround for this as this is quite a problem if you want to add links from IFS as all the urls in ifs contains semicolons… if you want to filter.I also tried to use Form%3B%24filter=  but that also did not work.So is there a way to “escape” semicolons in the report rule?I saw @dsj had a similar thing with semicolon on the attachments but that was not a solution in this case

Hi Experts I have a very odd error message in the vouche row lines i cannot update to GL after approval. i checked all the connected posting to this invoice, the I voucher…  and J Voucher. I also check the prepostings. There is no Object or that specific account. Does anyone know how to solve this? Best RegardsSophal

We currently utilize Incoming Customer Order to process incoming EDI xml files.  Today, we let IFS calculate the price of the product based on price lists and customer agreements, and overwrite any price received in the file.  In the future we would like accept the price from the incoming file instead.  We have not been able to figure out how to change this, though.  Are we missing some flags on the customer or in the xml file?  Do we need a different solution to bypass the pricing set up for manually created orders? Current xml price tags used:<UNIT_PRICE_IN_OUR_CURRENCY>65.01</UNIT_PRICE_IN_OUR_CURRENCY><UNIT_PRICE_IN_SUPPLIER_CURRENCY>65.01</UNIT_PRICE_IN_SUPPLIER_CURRENCY> We did notice that the “Original sales Price” in Incoming Customer Order does not populate: Price in the Customer Order: Thanks for any suggestions on this.

Hi everyone,In a DEV enviroment, we just did a test upgrade from APPS10 UDP 7 to APPS10 UDP 19 and after the update, when I checked for invalid objects, there were two. However, I can’t get them to recompile. I’ve try doing it with the RMB option in IFS as well as directly on the DB. Still, I am getting the error 565 PLS-00201: identifier 'COMPONENT_TRVALL_SYS.INSTALLED' must be declared564 PL/SQL: Statement ignored565 PLS-00174: a static boolean expression must be usedDoes anyone know how this can be fixed?Thank you  

We have two PSO environments, one for testing and one for production. Our test environment has the correct US date format of month/day/year but our production environment is displaying day/month/year. We’re not sure why the production environment is incorrect or how to fix it. It doesn’t look like any parameter or permission to set for the format we need to use?PRODUCTION (incorrect): TESTING (correct):We are using the same web browser to display both environments. Hello, I am trying to fill preposting on header level of customer invoice but its blocked for use (greyed out). I read that I have to set up the M104 and M103 with C58 control type, so I did but still can’t manage to fill data on invoice. The customer invoice was created from a delivered order on the “create customer invoice” tab and prepostings on invoice line are inherited from CO line. To be able to add code part values on IP2, I think I have to add them on preposting of invoice header. IP2 is configured with the preposting AC2 control type.If you have any idea on how i could manage to add preposting on header level of a planned customer invoice, I’d be grateful to you if you could share some ideas. Thanks Tanya  

Hello, I have several projects with connected POs that are showing a Planned Cost as well as a Used Cost. I have not seen this before, and it is preventing me from closing the Project. That field indicates it is read only and comes from the Planned Cost Driver selected. I do not see in the Help where it indicates how that is setup or how it can be removed. I’m also not sure why some of my POs show this, and some do not. Any guidance would be appreciated!

HI All,i am facing an issue with below mass update xml. xml is created  to update task status as Missed and closed for  ETL  period over tasks. Hello All,  A customer of mine is analyzing the feasibility to switch from using Work Orders (EAM) to Requests / Request Tasks (NextGenServiceMgmt). Since they’re servicing assets that belong to customers, switching to Request Management makes it a lot easier for them to execute the flow.However, they are also using Projects module. Each Work Order they work on they connect to a Project. I didn’t see any option to connect Requests / Request Tasks to a Project. Did I somehow missed finding this functionality or it doesn’t exist yet?@Alexander Heinze you’re my best bet with this question 😁.

We are trying to attach a document/photo to an object in mobile work order.  In most instances we get the below error.You can just click in the failed transaction, edit proceed and the sync will be ok.  But this is annoying for the users.  Is there a workaround or is this a bug.   We are using the latest MWO client for APP10 which is UPD23 and using windows app.  Backend server is still in update 13 though. Attached the bug report as well.  

Hi All, I know you can peg a Work Task Material Line to a Purchase Order (either by New Purchase Requisition Line or manually after creation of the PO wher you can use ‘Manual pegging of work Order Material Line’). But can you also peg a Work Task Material Line to a Shop Order? On a CO you can use ‘Supply Code’ = ‘Shop order’ or ‘DOP’ to create a connection between CO and SO. But on the Work Task, thge only options you have for Supply Code is ‘Invent order’ or ‘Project Inventory’. The option ‘New Purchase Requisition Line’ is not helpfull because the part in question is not a purchase part but a manufactured part. But we want it pegged to avoid that the WO requested part will be used for production of wholesale goods. As long as it is not pegged/reserved, there is a chance  by MRP would see it as an available part. Best RegardsRoel

Different tabs in the Attachment section of a Page such as, Document, Approval Steps, Media, etc. can be enabled from the Object Connections page by adding these options to the Service List of the particular Logical Unit. However, I cannot seem to find this page in IFS APP 10 Aurena or IFS Cloud versions. How can I do the same thing in these versions?  

Hello, I have asked this question before but I would like to get final confirmation that IFS Cloud does not currently support the ability to schedule workflows to get run. Workflows can only be run via an event action or projection action. Is this correct? Everything else is a work around that IFS Cloud is not intended to do.  Thanks,Bryan

Hi,I have a customer invoice created from customer order, I would like to add prepostings on the Customer Invoice for IP2 when the invoice is in Preliminary. I have added posting controls with prepostings but I still do not get the option to add on customer Invoice-Preposting. How can I enable the option? Appreciate your guidance on issue. It seems the standard company template for Denmark does not provide a Danish Tax Template. I find it rather strange that a large ERP with strong Nordic presence is not supporting all Nordic countries out of the box with such a basic report.Other parties in the IFS community seem to confirm that DK is not supported with a standard tax report, however, have there been any recent developments in this area?Thank you in advance.

The customer has Invoices which have been paid but are still showing in the final posting proposals screen as needing authorization. Is it possible ? Because he has already posted invoices and closed the accounting periods as well. Is there a way to amend or clear off these invoices from the screen? 

Hi All, Since working with APPS10 I have always worked with ‘Work Orders’, ‘Service Contracts’, ‘Work Task Templates’ and ‘Service Quotations’. But currenlty I’m now learning more about the ‘Request Management’ section using ‘Requests’, ‘Request Contracts’, ‘Standard Tasks’/’Service Catalog’ and ‘Request Quotations’.  And allthough there are some differences in approach to both, there are also a lot of similarities. So I am beginning to wonder about the reason why both functionalities exist next to each other. So could anybody try to explain a few things for me:What is the biggest functional difference between “Request management” functionality and “Work Order” functionality? What are decisive factors to use on or the other? Would there be any use-cases where a business would use both next to each other? What is on the roadmap for these 2 modules.I have read the ‘About’ pages on the IFS Help but that doesn’t give me much additional info on the different use cases for both scenarios. Fo

Hi All,Need your kind adviceMy organization is using IFS version 8We have an issue with supplier check payment. User already create a supplier check payment using below screen. However after that they mistakenly deleted the supplier check transactionThey have made the payment on 9/2/2024 and match it with the supplier invoice. However since they mistakenly deleted the supplier check transaction, transaction on 9/2/2024 missing Cash Supplier Check payment type. Below is for your referenceRight now, user tried to create new supplier check payment for this which they can but they cannot match it with invoice since the supplier invoice already matched with previous (deleted) supplier check payment.Can anyone help to advice how we can fix this or suggest a workaround on this?Below is additional information on supplier invoice for this payment
