We use the document default SET_APPROVED_SEC_CHKPT, which in Apps9 requires the user to enter a password to finally approve a document revision. We have the same setting in IFSCloud but it does not seem to activate. It is still documented as a feature in the documentation here IFS Cloud Documentation.Does anyone else use it in IFSCloud and is there any reason it doesn’t activate?

Has anyone experienced the following error?Can't open IFS 9 applications and also IFS 10 applications..net framework has been installed, I have installed and uninstalled .net framework several times but the same error still occurs.error :ERROR SUMMARY    Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.    * Activation of https://ifs10.sample.co.id:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. I am not able to place question for solution in correct format in IFS community. I am a little confused about the Sub forum field .Actually i will not submit my question in any Group or moderator area . I want to submit to IFS solutions such as Community-IFS Solutions- Finance( Financials)-Please help me to submit a question in proper manner .  

As I mentioned in the title, searching in shop orders is too slow. There are 78,995 records here. Could this be slowing it down? Approximately 40,000 records were created before 2018.These records will no longer be used. We want IFS not to look at these records while doing research? Is there any way to do this? Can we deactivate all records created before 2018? We are using IFS APP 8 version.

@Mathias Dahl  Do you know if there’s any control via Document Default Values to have the File option unchecked by default when we create a new Document revision?The reason for this is that we implemented a CRIM to notify users when a certain document is about to expire. They would need to then create a new document revision and check-in the new PDF. So, we never will need to copy the old file in the new document revision. I see that this FileInfo parameter comes back as True in the API, but I couldn’t find any Document Default Value to control this.  

I am working with a customer that prefer to force the user the enter the Document Title when attaching a document to an IFS object, rather than have it default to the original file name.  They are looking to define a file naming convention on their documents and can’t always ensure the original file will follow it.  They primarily will be using “New” command in Document Attachments, then either dragging and dropping or navigating to the desired file.  Ideal state would be after selecting the desired document, the Title would remain blank, and user would have to type a Title.  I have looked around and don’t see any way to achieve this.The best approach I can suggest is when creating a new Document, in the dialogue box enter the Document Title first, then drag/drop or browse to the desired file.  Write work instruction and train users to do it this way.  The manually entered title will be retained if user follows this process.

Hi Experts,I have setup the External file template with the necessary to conditions to upload credit card transactions. When I upload the transaction it gets successfully uploaded without any errors and External file load information indicating the transactions are transferred but no transactions are shown in the Credit card transactions window.Please let me know whether I have missed anything here.

I have a customer attempting to change existing parts with Part Type Manufactured to Manufactured Recipe.  Whatever we try, we get an error “The state of this parts structure prevents the structure from being converted”.  We tried setting the Structure to Obsolete, putting in Phase Out Dates, making a new Rev with a structure Tentative, nothing works.  Is it possible to do this, hoping we are missing the right steps/process to allow this to happen.  We can’t delete the Product Structure header as it has been made Buildable.  They are in Apps 10.

Dear Community,  I looked through in the community and in the Tech docs but I couldn’t find answer to my question, so maybe you can help me. Do you know any way to “hide” the IFS admin (/admin) landing page in Apps10 (UPD14)?About the current structure: currently everyone van reach the regular landing page and the /admin landing page in our network. When we need to log in to App server, from our personal device we need to RDP to a “jumphost” and from that jumphost, we need to RDP to the App server. Main goal is, everyone should reach the regular landing page from the personal devices, and reach the regular and the admin landing page from the jumphost or the app server itself only. We solved this in case of IFS MWS Console because that is in an other port so we can restrict that, but how can we manage this regarding the /admin landing page which is in the same port? Thank you very much in advance for any thoughts!Kind regards, Balazs

Hi, In France we are UTC+01:00. If we have a customer who is UTC more than UTC+01:00, for example a japan Customer (UTC+09:00), and a technician who is also UTC+09:00, then there is a problem in a SV with the activity start date control.When you create a service order, the open date is ok, populated automatically in customer Day/time. In France I create the SV at 16:40 (15 february) local Time, in the SV the open date automatically populated is correct : 00:40 (16 february).If the technicien starts his activity one hour later than the SV open date, then the double-click on activity start date field populate automatically 01:10 (16 february), that is OK. But a blocked message is sent to the user : “Start date cannot be in the future”. I think that this is a bug, no ?  

We are on App9 UPD14 and just created an AFP. But it dosen’t reflect the values from the Sales Contract.   All the prerequisits are fullfilled. The contract is in the Active status.The contract revision is in the Active status.The default project and revenue activity exists on the contract.A general report code is defined as a default value on the contract and it is a valid report code on the revenue activity.Refreshing from the header dosen’t help.

Hello,I am working on configuring an ETM channel to bulk create some event builders, and am not able to find documentation on acceptable values for eventBuilderType, eventType and usage (Event Builder Type, Event Type, Usage in ETM). ETM seems to want integer values for these fields, but the database values are letters.Are these documented anywhere? Thanks,Duncan

Apologies in advance, this is probably a very n00b question, but I’m struggling to find an answer! Can anyone advise on where I can find documentation on API functions? As an example - I’m creating a migration job, based on this answer. However, the INVENTORY_PART_CONFIG_API.GET_ESTIMATED_MATERIAL_COST() call isn’t giving the values I need. I know there’s also a .GET_INVENTORY_VALUE_BY_METHOD() function in the same API; but where would I find a list of all the functions in the API, explaining what they are, their parameters, return value etc.?I can find details of the REST APIs via API Explorer, but can’t find anything equivalent for API functions. Although there’s certainly some similarity with the REST APIs, they don’t seem identical - e.g. I can see a REST API called InventoryPartConfigSet, with GET endpoints that include EstimatedMaterialCost in the JSON, but nothing related to inventory value.

Dear colleagues,We are on IFS Cloud 22R2 SU13 and it happens that Resource Analysis page shows negative values as the resource requirements for some days. We have resource requirements from Project Activities only. I do not understand how the resource requirements can be negative.Values in Planned Hours, Planned Minutes fields in Resource Activity Load Detail page are also negative. In ss-02, the document class default values. For PDM-001 document class;1- All users can view this document. Let it download the linked file.2- You cannot make any changes other than viewing and downloading.3- Nobody can do the object connect detach process if it is not authorized. (Lock/Unlock) End user;It can only add it to the document class for which it is authorized and change its own document. Another question I have is:A document class can only bind to allowed objects. Hello, does anyone know how to change the colour of the shift on the gantt, so that travel time can also be seen? For my dataset, the time between the activities is coloured with dark grey, so the travel time is seen only when I hover on it. Usually, there is a light grey, as far as I’ve seen. I have tried various colour parameters for my profile, but nothing seems to work. I am probably missing something.Thank you very much.Iulia

 We are rolling out MWO Service and have EquipmentObject set to Grouped Push.Grouped Push is running successfully and we can see objects on the device via the Objects page - and we can create New Work from there (work order).However, from an ongoing Work Task if we go to New Work, in the assistant click Objects list, there are no objects listed.This page must be running a query against the list of objects and returning nothing - can anyone provide the details of the query it is running?    

We are trying to expire Contract OoS lines where the contract still continues, but has been ended for a specific line, through the API. This works fine manually, but when trying to set this through the API, we get the error message:Error Message:: You selected an Expiration Date that exceeds the length of the original contract.  The new Expiration Date should fall between the contract Start Date and the current Expiration Date.This is despite the fact that the date that I am specifying falls between the start and end date for both the contract header and the contract line.Am I doing something wrong? Training Material for Projects for IFS Cloud.I’m trying to find training materials for Project Management for IFS Cloud.  There is some in the academy but they’re related to specific areas of Project Management, not the general project management.  We have material named Project Management under Apps 10.  Does anyone know of an equivalent to what’s in Apps 10 for IFS Cloud?Thank youPatrick
