I have seen a couple of other users raise this question but these were some time ago and the answers not really conducive to our environment. I wonder if there has been any development on this for either Apps9 or in Cloud.
Our Scenario is that we ‘buy’ a KIT from our supplier and that is what we are invoiced for. What we put into stock are 150 separate inventory parts. So, yes, a reverse of the Customer Order/Sales ‘Package Parts’ functionality.
