Hi all,We have a Client with IFS App10 implemented for a single Site that uses Rental Contracts. Now other Sites are being created for the same Company and there is a need to distribute the Serial Objects to the new Sites.The Core Application is incapable of handling moving of a serial objects between sites/companies while maintaining same object ID/serial No. However, this is a customer request that we must fulfill.Changing the site may affect functional flows and analysis data such as financial transactions, material transactions, PM actions, WO and Historical WO.There are some limitations to overcome when delivering a solution for this issue such as, Since the site is a crucial part of the key for an object and its ownership, changing it might loss the tracking information of a serial object.I would like to know if anyone has already created a solution through Events or even Customization and can share this solution because the Client needs an urgent solution and a customization req

Hi Team GreetingsWe have created zero amount instant invoice, status for it is “PostedAuth”.However, we cannot create a offset for it as on all screens relating to a customer payment entry (mixed payment and customer payment) payment with zero amount is not allowed in IFS.  Now, if we want to change the status to “PaidPosted” for this zero amount instant invoice. Is there any work around or a way to make to “PaidPosted”? Thanks & Regards

Good afternoon After the service contracts are created, what is the best way to keep track of what you need to invoice?Is there a screen where I can see what do I need to invoice next? As a flow, I was thinking that the employee that creates the Service Contract to Generate Invoice Lines for Preview for all Invoice Periods, then the billing clerk can go to Invoice Plan Details screen, select all invoices that don’t have an Invoice number attached, and Create Invoices based on the Invoice From Date. Any other ideas? Thanks,Cora

Hi, In Allliance V15.4 , is it possible to catch the GPS position when a technician do some action :Log in (catch GPS latitude/longitude) Start Travel  (catch GPS latitude/longitude) Start Work (catch  GPS latitude/longitude) Stop Work (catch GPS latitude/longitude) Log out (catch GPS latitude/longitude)Globally, in the database  Alliance, for each GPS position recorded, could we link this GPS position with an action  made by a techncian ?.If the technician is offline : Could we do the process ? I’m building a custom external integration for IFS Cloud, using the OData REST APIs. I have some projections that seem to be working fine, for example, if I specify a valid CustomerId to this endpoint, https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomersHandling.svc/CustomerInfoSet(CustomerId='VALID-ID'), I get valid data back. However, I have some projections that are always returning ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND. For example, I’ve tried a variety of ways to get the data for a Shipment. https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentHandling.svc/ShipmentSet(ShipmentId=1) and https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentsHandling.svc/Reference_Shipment(ShipmentId=1), even tried getting the overview list of shipments using https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentsHandling.svc/OverviewShipmentSet, but that returns this:{  "@odata.context": "https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplicati

We have checklists set up at the order level that are working great, however, I would like to create a checklist at the Activity level, ideally based on the stop code of the activity. However, I have been unable to get the activity checklist to populate automatically, we seem to have to add it manually. Are there different steps for this to work on an activity level checklist? Or is automation an option? 

Hi, The business I'm employed by is considering the purchase of Project MRP (or pMRP) to compliment our existing packages (IFS Apps 10 and APB).   However, it's not entirely clear what additional features pMRP provides (and the problems this tackles that the 'stock' planning tools can't).   Can you please outline its key contributions to production planning or at least some information with respect to it. Hi All, I have requirement from customer where they would like to have such option in IFS which allows multiple users to edit the same document at same time.As far as I am aware in IFS it is not possible to access the document by other users until it is been checked back in by the user who checkout to edit the document.So, do we have any such functionality in IFS Cloud?? or Any work around solution to achieve this requirement.You help and suggestions are highly appreciated. Regards,Mithun K V

During the initial installation the DB appowner name was changed from IFSAPP to SYS1APP.Since IFSAPP is needed for IFS Managed Cloud, what needs to be done to change it back to IFSAPP?

How the shop order can be closed, when there is enough purchase part in quantity in stock. Shop order is reserve partially. Recreated in 23R2 Regional test LKP.Manufacture part: SIV-M0002Purchase part: SIV-M0002-1, Note Purchased, Negative On Hand Allowed: On Shop orders no 204774Receive inventory part  in stock SIV-M0002-1 . only 20pcs*Created shop order with lot size 100  > Release the shop order > Manually reserve the inventory part*Now the shop order in partially Reserved.( because we have only 20 pcs)*Just directly issue- When I issue shop order status is completely Reserved.  *Next step I Receive the item. Now the shop order is closed. Shop order closed due to the option Negative on Hand Allowed: On  , in the purchase part. Why no Warning message is pop when receive the material.

Hi Experts,I have a problem with the Repaircenter baseline screen in FSM 6U27.When I click the search button in the Repaircenter screen, it takes nearly 1 minute to show the results. Additionally, if I click on one of the Repaircenter records, it takes nearly 2 minutes to enter the screen. Sometimes, the application is unresponsive when I attempt to enter the Repaircenter record.I have captured the XML query when clicking the search button in Repaircenter, and I have attached the XML.Currently, in my system, the repair_center_view has 80457 records. Can we categorize this as an indexing problem? 

As of 22R2, a Downtime clocking can be started without providing a Downtime Cause.At what point in the production clocking/reporting process is it required to have a value in the Downtime Cause field, e.g., a value must be entered before ‘X’ occurs or before ‘X’ can happen. What is ‘X’?This field cannot remain blank forever, or can it?

We are upgrading to cloud and we read a community post that hinted that IFS was making customer change their app owner names from a custom name defined in the interface to IFSAPP. Is this true? If not is this “recommended”? Does IFS support have a standard document that would guide us in the right direction in making a decision?Our technical resource said that when he was running the pre-scripts that he was able to modify them to account for our custom app owner name. If it helps we are going to be a remote installation (on-prem).  

Hi,Does anybody know if trip tracker app has the functionality to OCR the values from a receipt and fill the fields?  Another question, has trip tracker the ability to chose the right category based just on the OCR of the receipt?Thanks,Gianni Neves
