One of our users has managed to corrupt a filter they use for Object IDs.

This is because they have saved a “List of Values” filter for that drop down and that is being applied/trying to be applied.

However, since we’ve done an update to the evironment that filter no longer works.

This prevents them from creating Work Orders. As soon as they click the “Object ID” field, it tries to run the filter, and an error occurs.

Any idea how we can clear that filter that’s against his profile?

If we’re talking personal profile (and not page designer context lov filter), I think it’d be there:

If you want a more surgical approach, you can select the page where the configuration is applied on the left navigator and delete only the corrupted entry.

Hopefully should be there ?

Try this - login to IFS Enterprise Explorer as an admin user, and then find your user’s Personal Profile. When you expand the Profile Content, generally under User > ifsweb > Clients you should be able to find the page where you experience this issue, and I’d expect to see an Entry in the right-hand side grid view which has the corrupted filter. From here, you should be able to either edit and fix it, or delete it. Might be a good idea to ask your user to logout of all instances before you do this, and then log back in after. Good luck!

Pretty sure they’re using Cloud given the screenshot they showed, but yeah same principle as I showed in my own answer, @Rukmal Fernando’s approach is the right screenshot of users come accross the same problem in Apps 10.

Also a note that Rukmal’s warning that the user should be logged out is completely true, if they’re not there’s a risk their profile gets “resaved” as what it was once they log out, like if it is in cache during their session or something.

@SimonTestard  the tag said Apps10, and I couldn’t find the Profiles page there, hence the IEE suggestion. Already hit Like on your answer! 🙂

Cheers,

Rukmal
