Hi, one of our German entities have received a request to run the following reports out of the audit interface assistant in IFS. However they did not give us any clue as to which of “Audit Sources” in the audit assistant matches with their request (see snapshot below). Can anyone help ?

Even the native speakers in the company can determine which audit sources translates to the below. It might be better for someone that has been through VAT audits and have IFS as an ERP system.

@Ralph Gericke  Hi, its been a very long time since we last spoke 🙂.. Could you kindly provide a response?

Hi James,

this seems to be a neverending story. Since years the german tax-authorities have a wiki, where this untrue information about provided files is stored. IFS never provided files with such a naming. I asked them several times to correct this in the wiki. Unfortunately this has never been changed.

Sometimes the auditors are also complaining that they want to have one file containing all the information (This would make it easier for them to import or they simply dont know how to import multiple files).

The file GDPDU Finanzamt Wiki.pdf shows a screenshot from the wiki.

The file BMF vom 14.11.2014.pdf is used by the auditors to request one file.

The file Reply to Tax Authorities.docx provides a statement in german regarding the wrong data in the wiki, explaining the files that are created from the GDPDU export and some screenshots how these files must be imported into IDEA (which is the software that tax auditores use for their audits.
Feel free to foward it to you auditor(s).

Finally the file Audit Interface IFS Cloud Gdpdu.docx is a handout to the usage of the audit interface of IFS Cloud. Usually the auditors should be trained in that, but they only know one way to import gdpdu data.

I hope this helps you in the discussion with your auditor,  you can put me on cc if you like.

Kind regards

Ralph
