As per the current setup, when there is a part demand added in the system, the MRP calculates back from the requirement date and the purchase lead time for the part, and creates the purchase requisition on this day. While this is regular practice, we need to be able to add an “offset” so that the MRP creates those requisitions earlier, and the parts can be delivered earlier for the relevant execution teams to have time to evaluate readiness and prepare accordingly. Is there a field where such an offset can be added across all parts? We rather not change the individual lead times since this would muddy the data hygiene and not align with actual supplier lead times. Not to mention the subsequent requirement to continue butchering future parts’ lead times.

Community, from below screenshot, you can see RMB funciton on supplier invoice line, Receive is not enabled, wondering why the problem is that? PO 10141882 is in Released status. Thank you.

We're using IFS Apps 9, and I need to create a Quick Report (SQL STATEMENT) to retrieve details about material variance, specifically identifying the purchase order lines from which it originated, within the GL Voucher row analysis.Below are the steps I followed: RMB > View Voucher Source - Got the PO number RMB from that screen > Matched Receipts  How can I match the GL Voucher Analysis lines to the corresponding Matched Receipt lines?Any help is appreciated. I have a workflow where I need to potentially fetch multiple items based on a collection, and then create an item based on those results, so I created a subprocess that starts with a script task to create an empty list that then gets appended to as necessary later on. However, when I try to troubleshoot or validate this, I get this error:Workflow validation failed with the following errors:Element Activity_0udl8nd: The Enrichment Input Parameter ifsBpaEnrichmentRegisteredVariables cannot be defined on an element other than Service Task.I have created workflows with script tags and no service tasks before, including one where the script is the first item, with no trouble; I could call execution.get/setVariable just fine to perform logic on data fed into the workflow or fetched via an API. I have found literally nothing about ifsBpaEnrichmentRegisteredVariables in the community, and there is no logical connection I can think of that explains why script tasks are fine elsewhere but not he

I am attempting to set up an Approval Process based on the attached guide.I do so to the letter. When I hit save, it offers to activate it for me, and I say yes. From this state, any attempt I make to save, even without making changes, shows this error message. I cannot see anything wrong. I have gone through the process several times, always with the same result. As soon as I add a condition/phase, it will no longer save when Active.I have attached one of the approval processes that I have setup according to the guide, which currently cannot be saved even without making changes. Can someone advise me on what the configuration issue is?

Has anyone been able to pull the Rich Remarks event description from the parent ticket into a Task.I’ve tried the following in the Task: But that only gives me the following:

Hi everyone,I’m trying to connect an on-prem Active Directory to IFS apps 10 (10.19) and I can’t get IFS to connect to the AD unless the credentials used are a domain admin. I read IFS documentation and it says that the user used to connect to the AD should have read-only permissions to the AD. However, it does not seem to be working. What could I be doing wrong?Thank you very much in advance!

Hi everyone,I'm currently setting up a supplier for testing purposes and have hit a snag. When I navigate to the "Purchase Address Info" tab and click on the 'Del Terms' box, the List of Values (LOV) is not selectable.I've double-checked my steps and can't figure out what I've missed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas on what might be causing this or what I might need to check? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi All, What is the exact difference between Fault Type and Fault Class? The explanation on the help files does not seem to give much help.  Both talk about technical and financial analysis of costs. Both are related to WO reporting… Best RegardsRoel

In PSO, when a user is given the default permissions, they can view all the details of a specific resource—such as the ID, mobile number, and location—within the RESOURCES section under SCHEDULING. I want to restrict what the user can see, so they can only view certain details that I choose, instead of everything. Is there a way to control or limit these viewing permissions for resources?

Please kindly follow our scenario:Given the current organizational policies, we will be utilizing multiple companies.I defined a part in 2 Sites with different Part types and when I want to create a Change request the IFS can not see that part separately.what should I do in Site configuration to config that as I want.Application Base Setup > Enterprise > Site > SiteI go to this window and get query with sites: BABOL; MAZEL

I am trying to use a workflow to call the cancel quotation line call to cancel the copied lines on the newly copied quotation to match the source quotation.  We are currently in 23r1.  On the Sales > Quotation > Sales Quotation screen we use the Copy Quotation button to create a new quotation.  For example, the source quotation has 3 quotation lines with the second line in the Cancelled status.  I am able to get the specific line to cancel but I am stuck on the call to actually cancel the line.  I am sure I am missing something simple. The projection call looks like: I build the variables as:aCancelReason : "NO STOCK""QUOTATION_NO=C9030200B;LINE_NO=2;REL_NO=1;LINE_ITEM_NO=-1" Any help is appreciated.

Any idea how to disable it at the configuration level without development? I have created a custom entity and want to block duplication while still allowing the insertion of new records.24r1

I am looking for an API query that retrieve if whether a person is “HR Application Manager” or not. I understand in EE, this info coming from package PERS_API & method IsManager. Or simply coming from table PERS.MANAGER where this equals “1”. Since API is using “Projection”, I am struggling to find this info. I think this is coming from “PersonHandling” projection but could not locate this info.

Good morning everyone,I am having a problem passing a screen parameter/variable to a custom menu block.I am sending code to a background job, as IFS gives me an error using UTL_FILE directly in the custom menu block. The invoice_id_ variable in the main block works and returns the value of &INVOICE_ID, however in the background job text within the stmt variable, the same variable invoice_id_ does not return the value of &INVOICE_ID, it returns :__g_Bind.n[0] and I am unable to understand why this doesn’t work. DECLARE  attr_ VARCHAR2(32000);  sql_msg_ VARCHAR2(32000);  stmt_ VARCHAR2(32000);  invoice_id_ VARCHAR2(240) := &INVOICE_ID || '.PDF';BEGINstmt_ := 'DECLARE  invoice_id_ VARCHAR2(240) := &INVOICE_ID || ''.PDF'';BEGIN  UTL_FILE.FCOPY(''BIAL_INVOICE_SCAN_LB'', invoice_id_, ''BIAL_PDF'', invoice_id_, 1, NULL);END;';  sql_msg_ := Message_SYS.Construct('SUP_INV_ANA_SAVE_PDF');  Message_SYS.Add_Attribute(sql_msg_, 'SQL', stmt_);  Client_SYS.Clear_Attr(attr_);  Client_SY

We are currently using Apps 10. With the upcoming retirement of a supervisor of Maintenance dept, a technician has been promoted to the supervisor position. Here are the steps we have taken in IFS:Created a new position, S-MAIN, since the previous position is no longer valid. The parent position is PRGM (Program Manager). We used RMB and Generate for this process. In the “Employee” Screen - Assignments tab, updated the position ID for the new supervisor to S-MAIN and set the Valid From date to 7/1/2024. In the Graphical Organization Structure’s maintenance department, added the new supervisor to the “Access” tab. As MT1 and MT2 positions should fall under S-MAIN, I moved these positions from their previous locations to under S-MAIN using drag-and-drop in the Graphical Position Structure. RMB > Generate After following these steps, The employees assigned to MT1 and MT2 positions are now updated with the new supervisor in the Employee screen. However, I am encountering the following
