Hi, Can anyone help with below queries ? User is trying  to connect an equipment object to a document revision, whether object ID has period sign.Error raised and cannot connect the object.“Invalid use of data delimiter in object type EquipmentObject.If one of the values contains a period, you can use a comma, semicolon, or colon as a delimiter instead.” Question 1: Is there any specific reason as to why period sign needs to be avoided ? Question 2: Then as a workaround, if you connect the object using objects tab in the document revision form, object description is not displayed until you save the record. (However the object can be connected without getting the delimiter error).Is this something that should be corrected, so that user can see the description, before saving the record ? Test Flow:Open Document revision form. Query for a document. Click connect objects. Select object Equipment Functional or Equipment Object. Under Key ref. field search for the object ID.DOK.TEST (Object

We are using IFS Cloud 23R2 SU4.When we use Repository ‘File Storage’, we have noticed that the file name uploaded to the Windows share repository appears to have been encrypted and differs from what was uploaded by the user.If we check through the application and look at the database tables, there is no mention of this file name.Previously using FTP repository in Apps 10, it would store the file with a name like 3001-2279139-1-REV00-1See below snip shows 1st record uploaded from Cloud (File Storage) vs others from Apps 10 (FTP): Do we know what is causing this and if this is a security feature that could be turned off? 

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there was a way to automatically send task/tasks to MWO Service without having to click on "Transfer to Mobile". Ex: If all tasks are assigned to a resource that has MWO app, then automatically they are transferred to mobile. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi All,» I have created an Application Server Task as below.  This server task was working perfectly as expected, but recently it has stopped working. Possibly because the server task has changed to ‘Finished’ state. But this is a repeating task and the state has to be in ‘Waiting’ (As I read on some other knowledge articles in the community). Can you please let me know what can be the reason for this behaviour.?My scheduled job looks like below and as you can see I have set the ‘one_time_task’ flag to FALSE.  Appreciate your inputs on this.Thank you.

Received a case on the following from one of the customer. After the new UPD, they observed this change and inquired more info on that.In overview tables, longer text are wrapped with the following approach in latest UPDs of App10 (ex: UPD 19, 20..) However in older UPDs (such as 8, 9), the approach is different. If it is multiline with line breaks or not, the appearance is same in the overview.What is the design requirement behind this change and in which UPD version, this change was introduced?

UPLOAD DOCUMENT IN DOCUMENT REVISION WINDOW ERROR IS SHOW SCREENSHOT IS ATTACHED THANKS IN ADVANCE.  

When a specific user tries to load customers on the customer analysis screen, they receive the error “Invalid Table Name. Failed executing query (ORA-00903: invalid table name)”.This issue only affects this user who has all the permissions that seem necessary and on a test database can access this fine.When I look at the query being ran that throws the error, for the user the table name “ledger_item_cu_det_qry_cfv” is missing. For any other user this table name is present in the query and they can load customers on this screen. Any ideas?

Hello I have a structure of all objects with serial control.I create a structure and place one of the repeating pieces in a different position.The "Manage Template Structure" is perfectly created by placingTP-02,R01 Position 2TP-02,R01 position 8The structure is activated.The problem occurs when transferring the structure; I get the following error:The template for TP-02,R01 exists more than once in the structure of TP-01,R01.If it is true that they are repeated, it is possible that there are two of them and they are in different positions.

I’m looking for the best way to for example understand the API changes between 23R1 and 23R2.  The obvious answer is to deploy 23R2 to build place and then compare the OpenAPI spec between that and one of our other environments on 23R1.Is there a better approach or something captured that helps customers understand the potential impacts to upgrading at a technical level? Thanks,Robert

Hi all, i get the warning “Warning using fixed date: xxxx” with data or forecast actions on demand planner in 23R2.I dont have any idea who and where set a fixed date in DP.As reaction of this warning I get results only until September 23.  Thank’s for information

I am trying to set up a new event action upon existing event PARTS_SUBMITTED_TO_MRB where event action type is Task.When a part is added to MRB, I get the following error:Attribute “COMPLETE_EVENT” does not exist in message “!FNDSER.EVENT_ACTION_PARAM $RECEIVER=...”What am I missing? I am the receiver for the event action as well as the user creating the MRB. Does that not work?

Hi experts,A pretty trivial question. When we do a clone from a prod environment to a dev environment, will this only copy over the data and leave the config changes in dev (ex: Custom metadata, UI , client script changes which are not applied to prod yet).If custom metadata A (which is in dev but not in prod) has the associated db table deployed in dev db, will this db table still be available in dev after a clone from prod?

I am trying to upload remittance advice data from a text file.  I have created an external file template off the ExtCustPayment file type.  When I use the External File Assistant to upload the file, I get an error about Payment Method (Way_Id) cannot be null.  It is not null and I can see it has data in the External File Transactions Detail page.Payment Method Mandatory Error, but has dataI am not sure if it is just a bad value (thought I did get the value from the dropdown list on the External Payments dropdown for payment type) or if it is not recognizing that there is data in the field.We are using IFS10.In case it is needed, here is the File Template build I am using:External File TemplateI have tried to simplify it down to just the bare bones.Thanks, Ron

 Hi All,Core Environment – 22R1We encountered the below error while changing the payment method to a different payment method other than the default, in the Payment Order screen.Create a Manual Supplier Invoice and insert the default payment method in installment plan & discount. Run a new supplier payment proposal fetching all payment methods. Acknowledge the Proposal & Create the Payment Order. When creating the Payment Order, select a payment method other than the default which was set in step number 1.  When proceed to finish the option, It gives below error.Error - No Invoice/payment on account is selected into payment order. There are no items in the selected proposal(s) with the specified cash account.
