Hello everyone,When I try to trigger this EVENT with this configuration : I receive the email, but the PDF is corrupted.When I look at the contents of the &PDF_FILE variable, I was expecting a BASE64 code but I get this: ###606fd624-e43e-43cb-92da-6839930f3736###30276###31040###Commande d'achat_2.pdfAnd I think that's where the problem lies.Have you ever had this happen?Thanks in advance.

A user that is setup as an authorizer is getting an error when he tries to authorize a purchase requisition line. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I need to look at to fix this?

Hello.We have an absence with a duraction of 3 years which got inputted, and we don’t manage to delete or cancel it as the treatment is aborted about 40 minutes later.We have no custom event on ABSENCE_REGISTRATION_TAB, and we have no solution to fix this issue.What can we do?We have the UPD 5 version of IFS

We have cloned the DEV environment from the PRD database and recreated the IFS Middleware for the DEV environment. Is there a trick to exporting BI Scorecards to Excel? Previously, I could highlight the data only and copy/paste into Excel. Currently, I only have the option to screenshot and the IFS export option only provides header data. Any suggestions? Transposing the data manually allows for a lot of mistakes, not to mention the unnecessary time. 

I am new to Authorizations in IFS and I am trying to understand exactly how it chooses what rules to apply when routing for approval.  I see that the first step is to add the user to Invoice Posting Authorizers and a Group if needed.  I see that you can assign a Max amount on the Authorizer, but I also see a Authorization Combination Rule that can also be applied.  Which one is used?  I also see that you can apply a Group or User to a Authorization Assigning Rule that you can also assign rules and dollar amounts to the rule.  I don’t understand what each does.Max amount on Posting Authorizers. Authorization Combination Rule ID Authorizer Assigning RulesWould love to understand this better so I can setup my company to follow our DOA.   Thanks in advance.Bob

The following error message appears when trying to install IFS Crystal Web Service.   The server is Windows Server 2022, with IIS 10, all updates through 7/2024 are installed. .NET 4.8 is installed. I already installed CRDotNetRuntime successfully. I went through the technical documentation  Configure The Crystal Web Service for IFS Cloud Web - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloudand found a few roles and features that were not installed, I installed them, rebooted the server, tried again and got the same error. I went back to the technical documentation and double-checked roles and features, and I did not miss any. Unsure how to move forward. All help is appreciated!

We are trying to implement some Java code for our IFS Cloud system. The versions of our environment are:Application service update: 23.2.3 Framework service update: 23.2.7 IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.7.20240605150108.0 IFS OData provider version: 23.2.7.20240605053529.0I set up a remote minikube server and managed to connect my local kubectl with it. I also tried to install it locally, but this is unfortunately not an option. Hello,This is my first time at adding a custom page in IFS but I’m encountering an issue.I built a custom page that is fully set up with a custom projection and custom entity. It behaves exactly as expected and desired in the application config>custom pages section of IFS Cloud. It’s also fully deployed.When I add it to the navigator, using the same CustomerPriceMatrixPage, it comes up with 404 page not found.The navigation properties are probably incorrect, as I’ve seen the client default to ‘MpccomNavigator’ but the same result occurs when that is set as the client. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, its such a small issue but so far nothing seems to have worked.Thanks,Bryan

Hello, I’m in 23R1 and seeing some unexpected behaviour with MS Level 1 parts when I run Site level MRP. I have 20 Manufactured parts that are MS Level 1 parts. Create S/P is set to create S/P Entire Horizon and when I run the MS calculation, everything works as I expect and Shop Order Requisitions are generated. If I then run selective MRP based on the Planner these parts share, the demand flows down and MRP generates Purchase Requisitions for the component parts. However, if I run MRP for the entire Site, MRP generates a handful of Shop Orders for the MS Level 1 parts. I did some investigating and this seems to happen if the on-hand quantity is below the safety stock. If I Re-Run MS after this, the MRP generated requisitions are then deleted. Is this a bug? The parts are top-level sales parts and not in any other structures.  Requisitions Generated by both MS & MRP for the same part:

We will pass the users samAccountName and Security group name to a ETM channel and it will integrate with Active Directory to provision security group for that user.

This Events Action will be executed and Send an Email to External Email Address from IFS Application.4. The format of the email should be in Correct format which should be readable.5. Although the actual format of the email is totally unreadable. Outcome: This is the event action "NEXT_AUTH_PUR_REQ_LINE". This should be the correct format of the email. This is the actual email format received by the user which is unreadable. We have already used <br/> tag to line separation. But the issue is the with “&MESSAGE_TEXT” part in the event action. This is the “&MESSAGE_TEXT” part which is scrambled in the email. Please help to resolve this issue. 

Hi team,According to the IFS Documentation, we can send extra-large parameters by creating a record inside FndTempLobs as shown below.Large Parameters in Actions - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud The issue is that LOB storage is described as temporary. About 1 or 2 hours after registration, the data disappears. If the data registered in LOB storage is set to disappear after a certain period, is it possible to extend this duration? I assume there is a cleanup job to remove this data, but I have not been able to find it. Do you have any idea? Thanks! Best regards,Feng 

There are two attributes called as “Column Visible” and “Visible” in the Page Designer tool.  Is there any difference between them?  Is there any recommendations on choosing either value on certain scenarios?  Thank you!Bhagya

Something I noticed was in Apps 10, for maintenance surveys, even if you have defined more than three surveys for one work type, only the first three surveys are triggered. I tested this for a customer and as well as in one of our internal environments and the behavior was similar.  Is there a way to go around this? Is there a parameter setup I’m not aware about?  Thank you,  

IFS version 22R2 in the cloudWhat prerequisite step is needed to run Inventory Value Per Period.  We reconciled as expected in May but when I try to run for June nothing appears.  Does a period need to be opened somewhere or did we miss a step when we reconciled May?Search attributes are Year 2024 and Period 6, then Search and nothing is produced.  I get the May data when I use period 5 though. Thanks in advance for any help:-)  

Both the Planning and Employee Allocation tabs of Activity Resource Planning have a field labelled Report Code.  It is not insertable or updateable on either of these tabs and always has the value of %.While training, I could not explain to our customer what it it is used for in this context or why it is there.  There is no field description that might help.  The page help is useless.Miight there be someone who has an answer for this?Thank you.PatrickPS:  No need to explaing to me what a Report Code is, that’s basic and well understood.

When back order parts the status shows as BO /Needed , what setting in the warehouse needs to be changed to show the status as BO / Allocated ?The warehouse is currently on Automatic receipt. 

We are currently using IFS Apps 9, and I am relatively new to the ERP system. As I familiarize myself with IFS, I am working on creating a quick report to retrieve purchase order line details associated with general ledger vouchers.In the Purchase Transaction History form, there is a field for the part number description E.g. (Dye Penetrant Testing in the below screenshot), but unfortunately, there is no direct column for the part description available in this view. To retrieve the part description, I am aware that I can join the Purchase Order Line table. However, I am curious if there is an alternative method to obtain this data without requiring a join. We build to customer design, and often our customers grant approval for us to build to a modified specification while they update drawings and specifications in the background. We need the ability to document revision change reasons from our customers. When a document is revised, what would the best practice be for storing customer emails and other documentation related to the Document Revision? 

 HelloIf the resource is a person, from the start date to the completion date the system calculates the order and creates a sales line, this makes it perfect. If the resource is a tool, the system has the option to start and complete, but it does not produce a sales line, I need to bill the time of use of the resource, just as it does with the person resource.  The only option to generate sales lines is to go to the section within the engineering portal called tools and equipment and record the time manually. (We do not want to do it through this step because it is more work for the technician and we already have a start and end date of the resource)  The system takes the start time, when the job startsThe system takes the start and end date  From the task I can record the hours of use with that option and these go to the sales lines   Should this work better automatically, taking the start time (start Work) and the end time (complete) from the resource card, what configuration should
