Hello IFS Community, i hope somebody can guide me with the following, when a user adds a line in the purchase order, if the Part/Supplier relationship is not in the Supplier for Purchase Part, the system will ask and let the user enter that entry into the Supplier for purchase part. the user doesnt have access to the Supplier for Purchase part, but still the system is letting this user create the entry.i cant seem to find the proper projection for this assistant in order to have it blocked.  any idea how can this be prevented, will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone,We are working with IFS Cloud Page Designer and have a requirement related to UI customization.Currently, we have a dropdown field “Coordinator” located under the Group: Order Details. We would like to move this field to the main page header section for better visibility and usability. RequirementMove the Coordinator field from Order Details group → Page Header Ensure that the existing functionality remains unchanged, including: Adding a coordinator Modifying a coordinator QuestionsIs it possible to move an existing field from one group to another using Page Designer? Or do we need to create a new field in the header and bind it to the same data source? Also do we need to do the translation also if we add as a new field?It would be better if we can move the same field but your opinion really matter here. Please check and let us know.

Is IFS Cloud capable of automatically sending emails to suppliers to follow up on orders that are past due and have not been delivered? we can define the days to due date. but only show me a list,we need to print and send mail to a addresss of Vendor .   Can we implement automatic email sending when the due date is reached?

Hi,We are using a workflow for validation triggered via an Event Action. In the Failure Event, the error message is static.We want to show a dynamic error message similar to:Error_SYS.Appl_General('Error :P1 and :P2')by passing values (P1, P2) at runtime.We tried using workflow variables in the Failure Event message, but it still behaves as static.Questions:Is it possible to pass dynamic values to the Failure Event error message? Hi,We are on week 2 of go live.  We are having an issue with Request Contract Invoicing.  Please see screenshots below: I have highlighted contract line 6.  Note the periodic price is $365.  Invoice Plan Details are showing a discounted amount, see line 6, the amount is $352.83.  We were expecting $365, which is the periodic price on the contract line.  We have no idea why the system has discounted the price here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Ed

Hello Experts,We are currently working on IFS 24R1 and have encountered an issue in Request Management → Work Task, specifically under the Material tab when using the Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve option [Service Management → Request Management → Request Task Handling → Request Work Task → Material Tab → Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve].Although the required part is available in one of the warehouses linked to the Site, the system does not allow reservation from this warehouse if it is not the same remote warehouse as specified on the Work Task. It throws an error and restricts reservation unless the part is available in that exact remote warehouse.However, I am able to reserve the same part using the Reserve Manually option under the same menu path. The issue is that the system does not automatically pick and reserve from other warehouses linked to the Site that have the part in stock.  However, when I tested the same scenario in the IFS Demo environment for 25R1 and our Internal 24R2, I wa

Is it possible to show the name and/or shortCode (name) of Items in the Product Tree Data Explorer in assystWeb? Currently, it seems that only the shortCode is displayed at the Item level in the hierarchy, while the parent levels show only the name.To illustrate There does not seem to be much detail about this in the wiki, and I haven’t been able to find any system parameter or user preference that can be toggled to change this behaviour. Hi,Below is an issue raised by a customer,“Document Revision is NOT created and attached to ProjectInvoice object when using the “.rep” layout in Report Rule.”They need documents (pdf)  that will be produced from an operational report and attached to ProjectInvoice object and would like to use Report Rule to set this up.A Report Rule was created for the original PROJECT_INVOICE_REP with some hardcoded values for testing.When testing the print job functionality for the report_id_ := ‘PROJECT_INVOICE_REP’ and layout_name_ := 'ProjectInvoiceRep.rdl', the result pdf is visible in Report Archive, the document is created and attached to the ProjectInvoice object, so the Report Rule works fine.However, Document Revision is NOT created and attached to ProjectInvoice object when using the “.rep” layout in Report Rule.The result pdf appears in the Report Archive and it looks as expected, but no document has been created by the Report Rule.Why is .rdl ok to create Document Revision and .rep is no

Hi, I have come across this issue a few times while creating custom events. If anyone has a solution please let me know.When there is a custom event for a specific logical unit and I want to validate against a different logical unit that is also created synchronously, I cannot use that validation for the other logical unit because it is also creating synchronously. When I use a cursor for that logical unit it always returns empty. Is there anything we can do to retrieve the data in this scenario?For example, in the supplier page there is a business operation that allows you to add a new supplier contact. When adding a communication method for the new supplier contact, it first creates the person entity and then creates the communication method entity synchronously. In my case, I created a custom event on the communication method which first needs to check the same person entity values before performing the validation. HiWe would like to provide Customer Invoice .pdf’s to an external Customer facing application using standard IFS API’s. I would view the invoice .pdf in Aurena via report archive using a result key. Has anybody successfully integrated a similar solution?We are using Apps10 UPD15. We don’t have Boomi. Here is what we have found so far:Using the log window we have found the Report Archive projection and enabled compatibility. We have then viewed an invoice .pdf and can see it makes an API call and gets an ID related to the Result Key. From there it seems to construct a URL and opens the .pdf in a new browser tab. Hi AllI see the following behaviour in IFS and I am thinking whether the behaviour is correct.I have enabled the following setting in the company level. Environment - 24R2Delay Cost of Goods Sold to Delivery Confirmation   I followed following steps.Created a customer order with delivery confirmation enabled Reserve the customer order and deliver the customer order through a shipment OESHIP transactions are not getting created because of the Delay Cost of Goods Sold to Delivery Confirmation setting. My assumption was I can create a RMA (Return Material Authorization) and return the part against the order that I delivered. But when I do that its always empty.I thought its because of the pending delivery confirmation. However, even when retrieving only a single record, we sometimes encounter the error "ODP_PAYLOAD_TOO_LARGE_ERROR" due to large file sizes(Greater than 64 KB). Hi,I am getting following error in a upgrade (From App9 to IFSCloud 23R1). In the mtinstaller when runs for the frst time I get following error. its something comes for DB hot IP CIDR value. Hello,I have a conceptual doubt regarding how CALLOFF and PLAN schedules work together within the Master Scheduling (MS) module in IFS Applications 10.Current situation:We are working with Customer Schedules from an automotive customer, which sends two types of documents:CALLOFF with line type FIR (Delivery Authorized) — short-term firm demandPLAN with line type VIS/PRE (Delivery Not Authorized) — mid/long-term forecast demandBoth documents are in Released status.Expected behavior:Our understanding is that when importing Customer Schedules into MS, both documents should feed the MS as follows:CALLOFF/FIR → Sub MS Receipt (firm demand)PLAN/VIS/PRE → Register Forecast (planning demand)This would give us a complete planning horizon: firm demand in the short term covered by CALLOFF, and forecast demand in the mid/long term covered by PLAN.Current behavior:Only the CALLOFF schedule is being imported into the MS. Hi All,In IFS APP 10 and Oracle database, Am I correct to say: IFS does not continuously check for changes and new notifications. Instead, it works in a reactive way.This means:When something happens (like an approval or status change), the system triggers the notification immediately It does not keep checking repeatedly to see if something changedA simple way to think about it:It works like a doorbell — when pressed, it responds instantlyNot like repeatedly opening the door to check if someone is there. Many thanks in advance

Having copied the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and .PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf to my custom area.Opened in IFS Developer Studio.  Added an entity to the PurchaseOrderPrint.report and updating the .rdf as required.  After saving the changes then clicked Generate Code.   On checking the generated .rdf file the SELECT statements appear to have changed.     CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturer IS      SELECT         NULL            NULL      FROM dual;          However, in the original PurchaseOrderPrint.rdf from CORE there is a CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers:   CURSOR get_pur_part_manufacturers(contract_ VARCHAR2, part_no_ VARCHAR2, vendor_no_ VARCHAR2) IS     SELECT *           FROM   purchase_part_suppl_manuf     WHERE  contract  = contract_     AND    part_no   = part_no_     AND    vendor_no = vendor_no_;     There are quite a few other CURSOR statements that are very similar.      

There’s a confusion on the behavior of the event that reminds of the Target Day. As per the customer, whenever he raises a PO some folks get an email for the target day, and when others raise it, they don't get it even though they belong to the same approval purchase group.Need to find out the system behavior based on the setup and who should get notified and why - that would be good to figure out here so we can use this optimally. TIA

I’ve never tried creating conditional formatting based off of a null/blank date field before and nothing I seem to try works. The docs say you can use the same conditions as you do in search, so I tried !%. Ironically % works for identifying records with dates.  I’ve tried <>%, = and <1/1/1 with no affect. Tried just <> to a date range, as you enter it you get ‘Your query can not be compiled’ Any ideas/solutions?   Thanks, Lane

When a material has multiple suppliers, can the IFS AI automatically adjust the order allocation ratio based on supplier performance such as delivery performance and quality performance?

In a BPA Workflow service task, I need to read data from a projection and filter by multiple values for the same field (OR condition). The obvious approach of using duplicate keys in ifsBpaProjectionParameters does not work:<camunda:entry key="Role">IFSFULL</camunda:entry><camunda:entry key="Role">ABC</camunda:entry>    My workaround is to create one service task per value and combine results in a script task, but this gets messy with three or more values.Has anyone found a cleaner solution? For example:- A supported multi-value syntax in ifsBpaProjectionParameters?- Using ifsBpaFilterQuery with an OData OR expression like: Field eq 'Value1' or Field eq 'Value2'? Thanks!
