Hello IFS Community, I’m running into an issue with a custom PDF_REPORT_CREATED event action that needs to use a specific sender. I’m sending the email with this procedure: COMMAND_SYS.Mail( sender_ => 'YY_MAIL_PU', from_ => 'IFS@noreply',to_list_ => to_email_, cc_list_ => to_buyer_email, subject_ => 'PO ' || order_no_, text_ => mail_body_, attachments_ => attachments_ ); When I trigger an Event Action of type E-Mail, the message sends and the specified sender is used correctly.However, when I use Execute Online SQL (calling COMMAND_SYS.Mail as above) the email fails to send with the desired sender.Any ideas why sending via COMMAND_SYS.Mail would fail or ignore the sender, while the E-Mail event action works? If there is a default sender it will user the default one but it is not the correct sender to be used. Thanks in advance! 

Hello.I have a dependent drop down on a field (req_type) where if a certain value is selected, it will display options. The issue is that when a French user selects a req_type, the values default to English (see below 1.0). When scheduling report below error appears. Does anyone know which type of security permission is required? This error also appears when scheduling report via IFSAPP user. Error (ID: 315a5654-e668-4120-8f76-fff01489fdf1) while invoking opertion: Insufficient privileges to export the quick report to Excel. Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Insufficient privileges to export the quick report to Excel.

Hi,I am trying to set up e-mail event action when creating a new customer with customer category = Prospect but it doesn’t work. I have attached pictures how I satt upp. I have tested with different value like ‘Prospect’, PROSPECT ‘PROSPECT’ etc but nothing work. When I took away Condition = and Value the mail triggas so it must be wrong syntax on value. Could someone help me to see what is wrong?  We have 24R2SU2, thanks. 

Hi, When i create a Purchasing control plan with all basic data set up correctly (compared with IFS Cloud) and then create a purchase order, register this purchase order at arrival, the arrival can still be registered without filling in the mandatory control plan analysis filled in.  Sample frequency trigger is: At ArrivalInspection percentage is 100%Receive case is: Receive into arrival and inspect at ArrivalControl plan is mandatory for site and part. My experience with IFS cloud is with the manufacturing control plans, where clearly an operation cannot be approved without giving in these analysis results and where the option is available (button) to fill in these results. That`s what i`m missing in Apps10 Purchasing control plans. So, 2 issues:The purchasing control plan that is mandatory can easily be ignored when registering for arrival. It can also not be added afterwards (to a separate purchase order) No clear option to fill in the control plan analysis, Or how to fill in the re

Hi Community!I am aware, that we already got several posts here for a 404 message. But this one seems odd to me.History:I have created a new database and imported a cloud based database dump into the database.Using this db, I have now installed the MWS without issues. I did this for a MIG2 environment and then for a TEST2 environment.Interesting fact: MIG2 is working fine and TEST2 is getting the 404. Using the debug console at start, you can see that a db connection seems not to work In the logs, there are not really any hints for that HTTP Access log10.11.10.119 - - [13/Jan/2022:13:58:57 +0100] 00jD0m8LasS5mZ_5xRG7yW0001q400011B - "POST /main/default/clientgateway HTTP/1.1" 404 224 0Displays a 404 no hint in the http server logthe rest of the logs do not contain anything regarding this as the access is not working. the select which is pointed out here is working when connecting to the db directlyselect lang_code_rfc3066 from &AO.language_code where installed_db ='TRUE' AND enable

I’m grappling with finding Projection/Entity/Permission set combination for this ‘Close Shop Order’ function and wondering if I’m missing a trick.   Projections appear to be ShopOrderHandling and ShopOrdersHandling and ShopOrderMaterialsHandling. Query for Permission set/Projection combination in Projection Grants/Entity Action Grants... Select and Revoke... I’ve been round this a few times now but haven’t nailed removing the permission so think it must be granted somewhere deep or elsewhere or I’m missing something obvious.  Is there any way/query/trick of identifying the Permission set that has Granted=Yes on Entity=ShopOrd Action=Close? Any suggestions gratefully received! Linda

Hi,I have spent a lot of hours to get the AD integration to work.We have IFS10 hosted at our partner.VPN is setup, all rules inplace, and I see the traffic hitting our DC´s.I have followed the document provided from IFS, but I still not get this to work.Even replaced our DC to new once, now running 2022 (before 2019)The DC does reply, because if I test with incorrect credentials I get a message saying that.The docs does not saying anything about ADFS, but when reading a lot of KB´s it seems that it might be needed, is that so?Anyone have AD integration, IFS10, non-adfs up and running?I would like to have this in place to be able to provisioning users only from local AD into IFS.For Authentication we use SSO to Azure.Regards, PelleFor me it stops here. Is it possible to show contratct or item PM Schedule on PM orders on mobile? We have looked around in Mobile Customizer, but cannot find it.We do frequent deliveries, and customers often ask SAs when they can be expected to get their next visit - and the SA does not know if the item/contract is on a 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 week schedule.Having it under Contract preview makes sense to us  

I was wondering if any other IFS users have a checklist for new company creation in IFS. I do have access to the activity diagram in F1 help, so it’s not what I am looking for. We can define for both Work Centers and Labor Classes whether they are going to use Finite or Infinite Capacity. Is it recommended as best practice that these 2 settings be aligned?If for whatever reason we need to have one value set to Finite Capacity and the other set to Infinite Capacity, which of the two will have precedence.What would the impact of this scenario be if we were to use Capacity Requirements Planning 

Hello,Our team manages refill putaway zones for tech vans in our remote warehouse setup. Recently, we added storage zones and multiple inventory locations within the remote warehouse, allowing each tech to have assigned bins for replenished parts.Previously, running the refill for each van took just a few minutes. However, since adding the storage zones, each scheduled refill now takes over an hour to execute. We refill 40 vans twice a week on different days (Monday to Thursday, starting in the evening), but the refill process often carries over into work hours, which disrupts our team’s daily functions as they wait for scheduled tasks to complete.To address this, I created a separate batch queue configuration for the refill putaway zone. However, I believe that pulling from our main inventory is causing delays by interrupting parts reservations for customer orders and work tasks.Is there a specific system configuration or optimization that could help speed up the refill putaway zones?

I’m testing 24R1 in preparation for an upgrade from App10.In App10 i used custom events with pl/sql action to send application messages to an internal SOAP web-service. I understand pl/sql actions will probably be removed soon, so i’m looking for an alternative.I’m trying out Application Message actions; however i have a need to send my messages using a queue of their own. But it seems to me all application messages sent from a Custom Event Action are using the queue NOTIFICATIONS. If i create a routing rule to change the queue i get an error message on the application message “Matched routing rule XXX is not defined for queue 'NOTIFICATIONS’ that is already defined on message #nnn”.How can i change which queue is used for specific messages sent from a custom event action?

Hello, I was hoping to dynamically change the signature based off the user id in report studio. I was looking through the documentation and found a DB Image function. This is the syntax: DBImage(‘report_logo_’,’image_data’,’item_id=[ItemID]’) When I tried it with this: DBImage('report_signatures','IMAGE' ,'image_name=JONEIL.jpg'), it took the syntax but it doesn’t work. I was wondering if there was something I was missing? Could this also be utilized for customer orders? For example, let’s say I wanted to print the signature of the salesperson. Could that function be utilized? Thank you. 

I have an inventory part that someone in one of our sites undid a scrap after serialization was turned on at receipt and issue. Now this part is stuck (qty 2) due to being unable to scrap or to create a serial number to assign to the parts.
