We are In the Business Opportunity trying New Sales Quotation.  When I try to complete the New Sales Quotation, I get the error Resource Not Found.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Hi @TosohLBlum,

Resource Not Found message usually comes with Workflow execution.

Can you please check whether any workflow configured which triggers with Quotation creation.

You can also check debug logs.

Hi @TosohLBlum,

In similar cases, “Resource Not Found” usually means something behind the scenes is invalid rather than what’s visibly on the form. As a start, I’d still double check that “coordinator” it’s a proper person-based coordinator with a valid Coordinator Group and numbering setup — not just a label.

That said, one thing that stands out in your screenshot are the copy options (Copy All Representatives, Copy All Contacts, etc.). When those are enabled, IFS tries to pull in all related records from the Business Opportunity (CRM) to the Sales Quotation (Sales). If any of those linked records are broken (for example a contact not properly connected, an inactive representative, or a reference that no longer exists), the system may fail with this exact error.

What I would try in this situation.

Step #1 - Turn off all the copy toggles and try creating the quotation

Step #2 - If it works, switch them back on one by one to isolate the cause

Step #3 - Then validate the specific data (contacts, representatives, related accounts) tied to the opportunity

So overall, I suspect that this is more likely caused by invalid related data (linked to a resource) being copied/attempted to be copied by IFS.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Cheers!
Sachitha

This was a workflow issue.  Thanks.
