Hello everybody! When using the Time Registration window in IFS Cloud, it is possible to create project activity shortcuts and assign a Shortcut Name, which is then displayed on the screen.We have noticed that the Shortcut Name can be defined when the shortcut is created, but it cannot be changed afterwards. The only available options seem to be deleting and recreating the shortcut.​@IFS RD Product Management What is the intended or recommended use of the Shortcut Name field? Is it by design that the name cannot be edited after creation? Are there any best practices for managing or updating shortcut names without deleting and recreating them?Thank you for your clarification. Best regardsTatjana

Hello all, I’ve been testing the Skip Lot on Purchasing Control Plans, and it does appear to be working, but the help is unclear about how some of the setup is applied and what the registration of some results means. I have entered three Purchase Orders of 100 each and I’m attempting to test the Attribute Skip Lot. I believe I have it setup as I’ve been attempting to enter nonconformitites and the sample qty has gone from 13 to 20 on the third PO. However, I’m unsure on the analysis result what the two mandatory fields are actually asking for. The help isn’t clear. I have the following acceptance sampling setup on the Purch Control Plan and Trigger:On the SFPP, I have not configured anything for Inspection Info, I’m assuming this is not needed:Any guidance on if my current setup is correct, or the proper way to interpret the Skip Lot setup would be greatly appreciated. 

Our company recently upgraded from Apps 10 to Cloud, and in Apps 10 we had a custom LU called Ecommerce which was added as a custom tab on the Part page. When trying to add this custom tab in Cloud, the data is populating but I can not edit any data in the custom tab. I’m getting the following error:“Client Warnings are not supported for CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE operations in [Ecommerce] entity. So 'X-IFS-Accept-Warnings' request header cannot be set to 'true'.”Is there a way to enable client warnings for this entity, or another way to get around this error message?

Hi,I have to call external API from IFS Connect. I used to had a problem with certificate but now I have different issue. For testing connection to external system I’ve prepared sql script and I run it in pl/sql developer. Hello,I am currently trying to get customer orders that were in blocked status and then released from blocked status, to process normally and reserve items. (Basically continue as they normally behave when they do not have blocked status). As it currently stands, orders that are blocked do not reserve parts or process normally when released from their blocked status. How do I get these orders to “refire” automatically when manually released from blocked status?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hello,  I want tu customize the “Attachement” panel. And rename it to “Attachment and approval process”I do not find these settings in the pagedesiner.  

I am trying to utilize the CONCAT(,) formula from IFS Report Designer, but for some reason it is not printingI have the function using a date and a string, and it is not printing.concat(concat(tns:CF_MPP_NCR_CREATION_DATE,' - '), tns:STATE)and one example using only one string, and it is not printingconcat(tns:STATE,’ - ‘)If I have both for separate without using the CONCAT(,) function it work perfectly.Any idea how could I utilize the CONCAT() or what am I doing wrong?  

Hi all,I’m trying to GET the content of a Quick Report using the REST APIs. I can see the endpoints in API Explorer; but when I make the request in Postman, although the status code is 200, the payload is an empty array (see image).I’ve tried this with a couple of different endpoints:https://.../projection/v1/QuickReports.svc/QuickReport_36969() https://.../projection/v1/QuickReport36969.svc/VirtualOrderSqlReportsBoth give the same result. I’ve also tried with a couple of other Quick Reports - it’s not just that one.The endpoints are showing as ‘Active’ in API Explorer (and presumably I’d get an error if they weren’t anyway). Is there something else I need to do to ‘activate’ the APIs? The Quick Reports themselves are generated from an SQL statement, if that makes a difference (and to confirm - if I view the report directly, there is plenty of data to see!). 

Hi community,We are using custom events in IFS Cloud to send REST calls to a custom-built middleware server. This works perfectly when have a smaller payload.However, when having a larger payload, this seems not to work at all. I found a similar post but it’s for BPA. We are not yet ready to move into BPA. Although same question for the Custom Event as well. Is there any maximum character limit we can send through CE REST calls? And are there any workarounds for that as well? Thank you.

I have a question about custom events in Cloud version 25R2. At present I am using 25R1 and I can execute Online SQL in an custom event action. As I understand it in 25R2 it will not be possible to execute Online SQL (e.g. “insert into [table name] “) but it will be possible to call a procedure in a custom package (and pass in a value to it).E.g. the procedure in the package I am calling in the screencap below will work in 25R2?Thank you.  

In the Business Opportunity sub-view References, the Sales Quotation table is showing cells Description and Reference2. We can’t find these original cells in Sales Quotation view. What are these References cells intended use?  

When you activated Supplier Warranty on the Work Order before you book cost (time,material) on the Work Task the additional Sales Lines will be created and works fine.But when you want activated the Supplier Warranty, later into the proces when already cost are booked like time & material, there will be No additional Sales Lines created.Is there a possibilty to add Supplier Warranty when the Work Order/Work Task is on the status Work Done and aslo create the additional Sales Lines on IFS Cloud 24.2.3

I am new to Cloud (we are using version 25R1). I have a Workflow that I want to call from a Projection Action; when a Work Task is set to “WorkDone” I want to pass in the Work Task Sequence number to a procedure and from there it attaches a pdf. The problem I have in the Workflow is that the procedure that attaches the pdf is in a custom built package but that package is not available to me in the Workflow. See screencaps attached. The first screencap shows the Task within the Workflow. I have set the "type" to "IFS API". The list of API calls is then displayed in the second screen but the custom package is not there. I want to pass in the Work Task Sequence number to a procedure within that package so the attaching can be done. In Applications 10 (which I used before cloud), custom built packages were visible within the environment Do I need to change the type to something other than "IFS API"?Thank you for any replies.  

When an Engineer creates work via the Service Engr MWO App, if they create ‘New Work’ using the option ‘Report Work I have Done’ when the Work Order is returned from MWO the Actual Hours Worked displays in the Work Assignment but it does not generate a Time Report for that User. Without a Time Report there is no Cost Line and without a Cost Line we have no Sales Line.Is it correct that the Time Report is not automatically created? How do we get the system to create a Time Report? Does this need to be manually done? Thanks in advance

Hi together,I transferred some parts to the remote warehouse via transport task. The remote warehouse is connected to a mobile user.But unfortunately I can see the stock records only in mWO when I use the online search. I did some research and figured out the stock will be shown when I enter a record in MOBILE_USER_INVENT_PART_TAB. It seems somehow the record don’t get created automatically. ​@Alexander Heinze, you mention in  IFS Cloud - MWO Service demystified (23R2) - revised version | IFS Community, the scheduled tasksRefresh All Purch Parts Refresh All Inventory Partsmust be executed. We recently upgraded from 11.5 to 11.8.4.  We are experiencing a weird issue.  When viewing in the queue, the task description shows but the parent log information (description) no longer shows, and it used to.  This is for new and older tickets, we cannot see it. If we open the parent ticket, we can see the information but not in this view for some reason.Here’s what it looks like when you open the parent  We were told by IFS that “You need to change description replace “ Additional information with” additional information”(replace uppercase A with lowercase a) and save it”We don’t know where to change this or find where the issue is.  They said its a known issue P1640.Does anyone have a work around for this or can tell us where to find this location to try this change?

After creating a Business Activity via the CRM Panel using either the old or new Outlook - we have an option to create a linked Business Mail. Recently, our users have notified us that the linked Business Mail gets created but it does not have the body or attachment in it.We have tested this on our end and it’s not working in either of our test or production environment for any Business Mail that is created via the CRM Panel.We receive this error in the first attempt: After the second attempt, it works but the body and attachment is missing from the Business Mail.Has anyone run into this issue lately?This feature used to work. I checked our CRM and SRM Default values for adding the email body and attachment to the Business Mail via CRM Panel and they have not changed.

I used “Phantom Consume” in a Product Structure. The Component with “Phantom Consume” is planned with Planning Method “A” and has no stock and no supply. If I created A Shop Order for the Top Part, the component is still in the BOM and can also not be backflushed.IF I change the component to Planning Method “P” everything works like expected. Online Help Text: A component defined as a phantom in this way behaves just as a planning method P part. If parts are available, they are backflushed; if not, the backflush process explodes to the next level in the structure.What is missing?
