Does anyone have any recommendations on brands/models of wireless scan guns for the warehouse? We will be running IFS Cloud.

We have a number of Work Task Templates that we have built up in Apps 10.  We recently started having the Asset Management techs using Tech Portal start creating their own work in certain situations.We informed them to utilize these Work Task Templates, specifically because it included the Work Task Steps.  However, when creating new work from the New Work button within the Maintenance Engineer lobby under the equipment section, then adding the Work Task Template.  The resulting work task does not contain any work task steps.Using the same work task templates, and objects, we can create new work from the back-office side of things and it all works exactly as expected.

Is there a more efficient method for creating Absence Limits, or can we establish recurring limits annually? Exploring alternate options to streamline this process and save time. Currently, we generate limits for each employee based on identified Absence Type IDs.

Hi,While working in IFS Applications 10, I am encountering the following error when I try to release a customer order with the following configuration:Schedule type: Call-OffLine type: FIR (Demand type = Delivery Authorized)Generated status: Release ExceptionError message: Error when removing order line, msg=ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: The field [AUTHORIZE_CODE] is mandatory for the customer order and requires a value.The client has the Customer Order Creation setting in Customer Schedule Agreement Parts set to “Create On Demand”; however, IFS is not creating new orders as expected.As a test, I generated a customer order before releasing the program, but the error persists.Thank you in advance for any help.

IFS Cloud 25R1In dialog screens within the system, it is currently not possible to add additional filter fields or search columns. For example, in the Shop Order view, when adding a part that should be produced, users can use the Find function. After selecting this option, the Part dialog window appears. In this window, it is only possible to search using two columns: Part No and Description.  However, this dialog does not include other important fields that are available in views such as Inventory Part or Inventory Part in Stock, for example Planner Buyer or Production Line. As a result, users cannot filter or search parts using these additional attributes directly in the dialog window. The Favorites functionality was considered as a possible workaround, but it does not solve the issue. HelloThere is an issue where, after a change order has been updated to a PO, the PO still shows a box labeled 'Pending Changes.' The related change order status is 'PO Updated.' Has anyone else encountered this problem?   Thanks,Raana

Hi,I am trying to Run MS - One part into IFS Applications 10 but the following message appears: “Start date of MS receipt cannor be earlier than the first working day of the calendar for site XXX, Part No YYYY Set 1” As far as I understand, the MS receipt was generated automatically during the IFS desktop installation, and it was not manually created.Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how it can be resolved?Thank you in advance

In Shop Order Cost, Actual Cost tab, we have “Total Accumulated Cost.”In Shop Orders Costs, there are “WIP at Aggregation Date”, and “Actual Accumulated Costs Total” fields.All of these fields have different values on some shop orders.What are the differences between each?Which field is best to use to determine the current actual accumulated cost of a shop order?Thanks,Eric

Looking for adviceWe’re starting to see rounding discrepancies on invoices where the line total does not match the displayed unit price × quantity, which is beginning to create issues with customs documentation.Example:Stored unit price: 3.46343412Qty: 50IFS calculates:3.46343412 × 50 = 173.171706 → 173.17However the invoice displays the unit price as 3.46, so a manual calculation shows:3.46 × 50 = 173.00Our client is encountering issues when very large quantities are involved, as small rounding differences become magnified in the final totals.Is this the expected behavior in IFS Cloud for invoice calculations?Has anyone found a configuration or best practice to avoid these mismatches, especially where customs documentation expects totals to match the displayed unit price?

Hi Colleagues,In connection with testing the integration to Pagero,  encountered issues related to missing fields required for outbound invoices to Romania. Specifically, the fields “Seller Legal Information,” “Seller Country Code,” and “VAT Accounting Currency Code” do not appear to be included in the IFS_EINVOICE_TO_FINANCE transformer.Is IFS fully complies with the ANAF requirements for Romanian outbound e‑invoicing. Comparison of the transformers in IFS 10 and IFS Cloud does not indicate that these mandatory fields are being generated in either version. We received following error from Pagero sideThe document does not satisfy requirements for recipients format Romania EN16931 CIUS. Hello everyone,when working in Forecast View in IFS Cloud, I receive the following warning message: I am trying to understand where these value should be filled in, because I cannot find any field for it in the usual locations.I already tries to find it in Sales Part and Inventory Part, but was unable to. So here is my question: Where exactly in IFS Cloud should the “Planned Sales Price” (used by Forecast View) be entered?I am interested in all the analitical views highlighed in red.If there you know of any source I could use to understand the values in yellow I would be greatfull as well.Any guidance or screenshots would also be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

On the Time Registration screen > Report Time, How can I make the additional Details drop down always visible by default?

Hello,is there a way to include the copy of report codes when creating a new company form the template company? We think  this is arranged in the component registration but how can see whether it's activated? below we see it is activated however report codes are not copied from template company to new company: 

Community,when posting lines generated from work order task that are under customer warranty, in the below screenshot, you can see the column Revene% under Sales tab, according to IFS document stated below, it should be Revenue % = 0. but system still values it 100, is it a bug? We are in APP10.Posting lines are under customer warranty.

Hi all, As most know, Microsoft is retiring SMTP Legacy Auth on 5/1/2026.Is there a way to allow/configure Modern Authentication, OAuth if we are still using FSM 6? We are on .26 and using Basic Auth currently. Is there current support for Modern Authentication for SMTP in FSM6?  Thanks ahead for any information.

Hi,I ran a database script with views in Quick Reports and it worked. However, when I try to run it through the table directly, it gives an insufficient privilege error. I think this can be handled by granting the appropriate permissions, but can anyone please let me know which exact permission set I need to assign?Thanks in advanceRegards

We are planning to install the PSO service in the remote environment, and since we are new to this solution, we have the following questions and are looking for community expertise:Do we need to purchase a separate license key from IFS to perform the installation? The component SVCSCH is currently active in the solutionset.yaml file. Do we use the same database instance configured for the IFS Cloud application for PSO, or do we need to create a separate database instance?

Hello,As a system requirement, I want to create an email that works as follows: If wanted receipt date - today = 1, the system should read all order numbers and send an email to the requesters of the orders where this condition is met. Going the report in (complete assitant) on MWO to complete a request task. When marked as complete the data doesnt sync to IFS Cloud. There are failed transactions listed for the logged in user. The customer wants to direct his share-point documents to IFS application through an BIZAPI integration (using an XML file). Like we can attach oracle path/local documents by just giving the file path (eg: C:/IFS/PROD/PDM/ABCDE123.pdf) through an object property , is there any method we can use in this scenario to attach those share-point documents? If there’s no any way, what is the best approach we can give to the customer as a solution?

We’ve identified an issue this morning affecting import/export actions in IFS, such as downloading document attachments from purchase orders. When users attempt to save a file to their local machine, the IFS client crashes and closes. We’ve tested this across multiple user devices, and the behaviour is consistent.Everything was functioning normally before the weekend, but as of this morning the feature is failing entirely in both our production and development environments.As an additional check, I tested the same actions directly on the server/VM hosting our middleware instance, and import/export works correctly there. This makes me suspect the issue may be related to something on the local Windows machines, possibly a recent update.Our application is accessed through an App Gateway, but this has been in place for some time without any issues, so it seems unlikely to be the cause.Has anyone else seen this?
