I will not face any issue upto create the invoice when go for upload in the system, it is showing Partly Created Status with the below load error.What can be the issue?

Hello,I am wondering where I can find in-depth documentation on the .NET Access Provider (including the COM extensions).I am just starting to play around with this layer and am intrigued by it. We have been using ODBC (Oracle Instant Client) and Oracle MDAC access and they work fine, but I like the simplicity of the .NET Access Provider and built-in niceties such as error handling -- no need to install an ODBC client or MDAC components, just the Ifs.Fnd DLLs (which I embed in our C# application).I would also like to know how to do more with the COM extensions, as we still integrate with Visual Foxpro applications. Visual Foxpro can create COM objects, etc. and that might let us do more from there.I understand Access Providers are on the way out and that web-based programming and RESTful API calls are the way of the future. In IFS Apps 10 UPD 10, we are trying to trigger automatic creation of a PM/WO when a machine component reaches a certain threshold of usage.Example: machine #1 needs recalibrating after every 1000 cases of product X is reported via Shop Orders.  1000 cases relates to a number of machine cycles. I am looking at Test points/Parameters tab on Functional object but the measurement (1000 cases) will not be manually entered. I assume I need a counter of some sort when Shop Order for product X is reported.Once the counter reaches the threshold, we want to have a WO automatically created (I think I read this is via a background job.)  not sure if I need a custom event and event action or if there is standard functionality in Maintenance I am digging in to IFS Help but can’t quite put the pieces together. Anyone have something like this working?Any hints or guidance is much appreciated.Thanks

We are defining material demands on Work Tasks / Material. All inventory parts are purchased, have planning method B, order point 0 and lot size 1. Expected result when running the Order Proposal: If an inventory part that is demanded on Work Task / Material is not available in stock, the order proposal creates a Purchase Requisition with the demand date from the Work Task as the Wanted Receipt Date on the PR Line. This works fine if we have a primary supplier for the part. We have defined lead times per supplier so that the demand is triggering the PR 45 days in advance. However, we don’t have (primary) suppliers for all parts. Whenever there is no primary supplier the leadtime of the part is set to 0 and the automatic PR is created the same day as the demand occurs. Please advice: Is it possible to set up leadtimes for purchase parts not connected to suppliers? We need to define an internal leadtime in order to have the demands generating PRs 45 days in advance of the actual demand. 

Hi All,  I am having error “IFS application is busy initializing, cannot attach to it” during IFS EE (IFS 10 UPD 10) startup after DB and APP server restart  and could not login to the application from my computer. Other users do not have any issues. Tried to clear the cache by runnig “rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache”. All MWS servers are up and running, nothing strange in the logs found, Aurena works fine. Any suggestions?Thanks.

Hi folks, An error message is being encountered when saving a mixed payment to process a 'Cash transfer' from one Currency account to another Currency account e.g. EUR to USD account. Accounting currency is GBP and It will allow to transfer EUR to GBP account or USD to GBP Account but not EUR to USD. Message states 'Currency EUR is not allowed for cash account CURRENTUSD in company HEATH'  Could you please advice on this? Best Regards,Thakshila

If we schedule a “Create pick list for shop orders” when we want to pick the materials as per operation start date; like few days before operation start date, due to the constrained stock. The reservation is going to performed on the entire shop order instead of operation material only if I put shop order start date as the Days before start date instead of operation start date in the ‘Shop Order Auto Process Type’, Process Event ‘Reserve Shop Order’ before setting up the “picking, reservation”.Is there any workaround?Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

I am new to Crystal Reports.Could I call APIs functions to create Crystal Reports or build my own custom API and call it in a Crystal report? or  do I need to build only IAL? Another quick question. Our system has many IALs built by our old developer. How could I see the SQL written to build the IAL?  When I access the IAL Object Developer I cannot populate the code. See screenshot 1 for more details.Screenshot1.- However, I can see in IAL Configuration that we have 89 IALs. How could I see the code for each one of the IALs? See Screenshot 2 Screenshot 2 

Our company is utilizing IFS9.Our company utilizes external software to help to combine several documents into one PDF format. The software name is (KOFAX).After we have combined documents into one file with the PDF format, the user attaches the PDF file to the (IFS) Document Revision.However, after we try to open the file in IFS, some fields have disappeared from the document.Before the file is loaded into IFS it looks normal and includes all of the data. The problem happens after the file is loaded into IFS.Any idea what is happening? 

We have noticed a problem with the night shifts in production, which leads to costing differences because not all production order times are reported or are subsequently cancelled again.The problem starts when the employee clocks in again on 31.05.2021 in the evening for the next night shift and works on the production order over the day change.The FA messages booked for the previous night shift for 31.05.2021 are cancelled again because there are no corresponding attendance punches. These attendance punches do exist, but were booked on 30.05.2021.Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hi,I’m trying to create a warning message for the Business Opportunity screen.As, the company auto-fills depending upon a user’s default company. I would like to show an error message if a certain company isn’t selected. Is there a way of doing this in Apps9? 

I cannot find the option ‘User’ under Solution Manager/Security. There are only two options listed:  User Groups, and Users. There is NO menu for User. I’ve also found  that I cannot go to the User Details when choosing a user as in IEE.So where can I create a user and where could I check the details of a user account.I’ve tried as appowner.Do I miss something? or our application has missed anything?  ThanksWen

Hi Everyone,Apologies if this question has been answered - not too sure of the search term to look for within the forum.We are looking to amend the automated functionality within IFS to print an additional document template in IFS9 from the customer order - driven by the status of the order. I believe this is controlled from the following check boxes on the document information tab. (please see screenshot below)We would like to print multiple copies of the customer invoice and we also have another output document template within the same invoice report definition.Order History shown below - invoice and delivery note are created automatically. Is it possible to add another document to the automated output?  Please let me know if I need to provide any additional information.Many Thanks,Dan

Hello everyone.  I have been slowly getting Lobbys created for the maintenance guy.  I am trying to put the Company Logo on the back ground of the Lobby.  Having mixed results. When i copy the URL in the box and lock the lobby back it produces the picture  but it is multiplied and shows the picture in different layouts.  I have tried modifying the URL, Saving  the Logo in different formats yet it continues to do the same thing or nothing at all.  Here is a example of what i am seeing   And here is the URL i am using.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I asked this question on the main group  and i got a answer but don’t understand where they are wanting me to look.
