We are currently running Apps8, mWO on-prem. This means we cannot use the app from the Microsoft Store (as we were informed from the very beginning it is intended for Cloud only) and instead we have to use the executable file from the TAS.Windows changed their rules for sideloaded apps. It used to be controlled with a simple setting in Developer Mode. We are no longer able to install the .exe file from our latest images which have a version that is after 1909.Is there an updated .exe file that accounts for this Microsoft change? 

My customer are in APP10 UPD12 using only Aurena client and MS AAD. They are going to start using the DOCMAN..Here is the question I received from customer “ I need to know the impact of Document Management on the system?  We are looking at approximately 1 million + documents per year.  What is the impact of using the default repository?  What options are available?  Ect" I have also read it in community note that “to over come the growing database concern, customer could opt for the other repository options which is already there in the document management.Those other options are FTP and shared folders (on the application server itself or on a network share).”But in another answer FTP and Shared document repositories are currently not supported there. Could someone clarify the above so we can give them a firm solution for this please?  Thank youUma Selvaraj

Does anyone know what “the role” is called so I can ask our IT department to add this to my user so I can do changes in Purchase Parts?  I can do changes in Purchase Part but not Purchase PartS.

When we are creating a customer order through a sales quotation, created document text(RMB Option) will be reflected in the Customer order. But when we enter a document text to a customer order where the supply code is “Purchase order Dir”, those entered document text will not reflect in the Purchase requisition or the purchase order. Is there any way to transfer document text from one window to another window when those windows have an interconnection such as “Purch order Dir”, “Purch order Trans”?

One of the customers have an RMA with 100 different lines. They are not connected to a CO, but they want to return all of these lines to one inventory location under one Lot/Batch. When we select multiple RMA lines from RM lines tab and RMB > Receive Parts… we get the lines like below, So, users need to select the RMA line by the drop down for 100 times and need to enter the Qty to Return. This is taking a lot of time and inconvenient. Is there any easier way which they can return these 100 different RMA lines?Thank you :)

APP10 UPD9I’m using this send email functionality to send the purchase order report to outside users. but this send the attachment with the name "PURCHASE_ORDER_PRINT_REP_<result key>.pdf".  Now wanted to add PO number in to the name of attachment.  So, created a report rule how I want the email. It’s works as expected, but user receiving 2 mails, one from report rule and one from the standard. Can we stop/skip the mail sending from the print job? I have tried with set “NO” to the SkipJobMail property in report rule.  

Hi Everyone, I have an end user request for Return Completed RMA Lines to be tracked to the point they have been returned to stock in IFS or scrapped etc. In terms of the RMA process - return completed for us on the line is to show the product has been returned to us. We were looking to see if we can track this to see the point in which the product is returned to stock (if able to do so). The closest I have got to is looking at Inventory Transaction History per Part for the part number and date and see what the transaction is that follows the RMA to see if the product has been returned to stock or scrapped etc. This isn’t the best approach as we cannot be sure that another transaction against the part will happen between the RMA and the part transaction we are interested in.Has anyone else encountered a similar scenario and if so what approach was best to take?I was thinking of using one of the existing fields when booking the RMA into a location to record the RMA number but wasn’t sur

What would consider as the main reason to have naming differences in referring same data in different part of the application?For example, information shows in ‘Customer Invoice Types’ window under ‘Layout ID’ Column is as follows,Same Information shows in "Report definition" window with a different naming, which is "Report ID"What would be the main reason for such naming differences to exist in the application?Is that due to the fact that development had handled by different teams at different time frames during the product life cycle?

I remember I have seen information about the new functionality in the Audit Interface regarding SAF-T reporting in Norway, but now when we need it I can’t find it. Does anybody have information to share about how to set up the data to be able to extract the SAF-T html file to the Norwegian authorities?We are running IFS10, UPD8

Hi,is this already adressed to be fixed or is this something which will not be implement in IFS Cloud?Usually when clicking on the button “Format Specific Information Per Institute” I get redirected to another projections/view where I need to enter crucial basic data in order payments can be processed with this format in IFS….Yet, this is not working: Many thanks for any help!Best regards,Siri

Does anyonw know if there is a projection that would allow us to inttegrogate the Application Messages as seen within IFS Connect > Application Messages form in EE?We are using the REST API’s heavily but typically determine which to use via the equivalent screens in Aurena for which I dont think exisit for IFS Connect. Good dayI am having the following issue.I have teams setup in FSM with team members and scheduling resources, all connected to certain datasets. I have created corresponding datasets in PSO, and after setup is complete everything works as it should (team members/resources added in FSM displays immediately in PSO, tasks get scheduled correctly according to commit rules etc.).The problem I have is that after tasks are scheduled, making changes to the rota or resource planner, it will move all tasks around. For instance, if the scheduling period for the rota is 1May to 1June, and any changes are made, PSO will move my committed tasks to the end of the rota period. Committed tasks will now be scheduled and committed for 1June, and allocated tasks will stay on the current day, but can’t become committed when tasks are completed, as committed tasks are now on the wrong day.What can I do to fix this?Regards,Hannes

Updating any data in FSM does not pull through to PSO.I have tested this by creating new testing datasets, scheduling app params (exports) etc. and connecting all necessary data to them, but they still fail after a while. Deleting everything and recreating all data will have it working again, until it fails again.What could be causing this failure? Could it be due to a system upgrade? If it is caused by upgrades, is there a way to preserve the connections so I don’t have to recreate everything to make

Hi, I have added custom fields to Customer Order>Line(Tab) in Aurena using page designer. Everything(new/modify/populate) works except the page configuration.Issue: I am not able to see anything(Metadata) in Page Configurations against the customer order screen projection to export via ACP.It is the issue for all the Screens when added to a detail TAB. Same works for headers or Overview screens. I wonder if it is a bug? Appreciate if anyone have a solution for it. Hi, I created a quite simple projection with an action ‘GetNextPartNo’ that has no parameters and returns a number. Model looks like action GetNextPartNo Number {   initialcheck none;} It is implemented in plsvc file as FUNCTION Get_Next_Part_No___ RETURN NUMBERISBEGIN    RETURN Eng_Part_Master_API.Generate_Part_No();END Get_Next_Part_No___; I can deploy it to int-node but when I test it with postman I get  {    "error": {        "code": "ODP_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR",        "message": "Error while de-serializing contents."    }}But this would mean that my json document would not fit to the model. But I have no body in my message which could be wrong as the action has no parameters. Any hints?

Does anyone know how to change an accounting year- previously ran from July 1-June 30 to a calendar year when there has been supplier invoices with period allocations done for future periods.  The invoices have all been paid, so they cannot be cancelled.  I am not able to delete the periods either because there are already transaction in those periods.  Any suggestions.  Thanks

I have a created a lobby element which does exactly what I require in EE, however in Aurena the Lobby Element is missing a colour-coded icon.Here are the conditional formats:Formatting the ColumnThe data section is as follows:Data SectionWithin EE, the icon shows and is coloured correctly.In Aurena, the column is shown on screen, but there is no icon visible. Are icons supported within Aurena, and if so, what is the correct approach to make them visible, please?

I am using IFS10, I have a question, there is a problem in the company with shipping racks that we are sending with our products. I have in the system all the products that I have to shipping to the customer but when i send those products they goes with a rack that is expensive and those racks have to come back to us just the product is going to take the customer but the rack’s not. So I don’t know if there is way to put in the system the racks that i am sending with the products to be sure that when they arrive, they come back to us. Each rack have their own serial number but I don’t know a way to putting in the system and for that they appear in a bill of lading or a customer order or some note that the customer can sign to be sure they have those racks and they have to return to us.if somebody have an idea for I can try to set up on the system,  steps to follow, or something please. I will appreciate it. I just want to those racks come back and they won’t disappear.
