In the mWO we have the possibility to print the Service Report. In most projects there is the need to modify this report regarding layout and/or data as it is possible to adapt the reports which are available in IEE or Aurena.Which possibilities do we have to modify the Service Report regarding layout and data which should be printed. Which tool can be used or was used to implement this report?Is thereany other possibility to create a report with an own layout and data from mWO which can be started in mWO. Do you have any idea how to solve this requirement?

Is it possible to add training calendar available in HCM to outlook calendar in IFS Apps10?

Hi ExpertsRecently i came across with a business scenario where our client has an internal maintenance department and it performs maintenance on their own assets.For Example: They are performing maintenance on an Air Conditioner. There is a fault in one component of air conditioner i.e. compressor so they purchase it through normal purchase process and replace it with the faulty one. Now, they get the faulty compressor repaired and keep it into inventory so that it can be used whenever required.My Question is how to add unpurchased component (i.e. Faulty compressor which was repaired) into inventory. What would be the cost of that compressor? Do mention if anybody has experienced this kind of scenario.looking for some positive response. Regards

Hi - I am attempting to create a HMRC Submission for an Automatic Tax Proposal, however the application message keeps getting stuck displaying below shown error; "1:ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Post error: 501 Not Implemented;2:BIZAPI ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: BizApi can't be executed when main-address is failed" I am also reporting the issue to IFS. I am also in need for a quicker resolution while I hear back from them. Any who knows the probable cause and how to fix this? Bose

 I have two users with the same EU_ROLES or access;  everything looks similar. However, one of them has access to see in the menu the option for Plan, Build, Retire, Cancel and Review and the the other user does not have the access to see them. What am I missing? We are using IFS9

We are using IFS 10. For new part business we create a Business Opportunity.  From the Opportunity Line, we create an Estimate.  When the Estimate is complete, we transfer the information back to the Opportunity, confirm the opportunity and create a Sales Quotation.We use a similar process for existing parts, but skip the Estimate.When we determine the Sales Quotation is won/lost, we close the Sales Quotation and indicate the won/loss status.  For existing parts, this rolls back to the Business Opportunity line and sets the line to won/loss.  However, this doesn’t happen for new parts.  These stay In Process and there does not seem to be a way to get them finalized.Is there a way to finalize the status on Business Opportunity lines for new part?

Hi Everyone.This scenario can be tested in App10 test LKP.The below price list is owned by Company 10 (Site “1” and “2” are created in company 10 as well).and the sales price is 32.00. And the Valid for site is “1”Customer uses “Send sales price list” (RMB feature) and add below details then press “ok” Then go to “Incoming Purchase Price Catalog” window and RMB> Approve the relevant record. Go to Supplier for purchase part and open the below records.Supplier - PL950Part No - ANGO008;PTA-PART4You can see the updated price list in both site 1 and 2 for both partsI set Valid for site as “1” but the price list details have been reflected in site “2” as well. The question is, when there is a supplier for purchase part record for multiple sites and  the price is updated from the price list, should this price be updated in all the sites (if the company is the same)If it is the functionality, is it possible to restrict this for a specific site?

Hi,Can anyone help me with below query ?  For Apps10, IFS introduced a new generic concept for Validity in basic data.  This enables the users to control whether a specific basic data code can be used or not, and can thus help in managing when a certain code is allowed.E.g. if a code has been used, but should be discontinued, the old way of handling this has been to add something like DO NOT USE in the description, since it is not allowed to delete a code that is used.  This does however not prevent users from actually using it, and it will also present that text as part of description all places where that code has been used.  The new capability ensure that you can prevent the use of an old without having to do such actions.In Document management, the new concept is not yet implemented, leaving an inconsistent application where the users do not have the above mentioned ability to control which basic data codes that should be allowed to use or not, which over time can cause problems.Th

ISSUE/QUESTION:  Forbidden extension on attachment in service order.  Need some help.  Is there a way to allow this type of file; .xlsm, to be added in Alliance?ENVIRONMENT:  Alliance productAUDIENCE:  External/InternalRESOLUTION/ANSWER:   Yes, but this will require access to the server.  Provided you have permissions to the server, the file extension can be added via the Configuration Editor.  Within Configuration Editor, go to Profiles, expand the profile, and select Globals.  Look for AllowedFile Types and add the file type, i.e, .xlsm and then click Save XML settings.You should then be able to add files to the Service Order with this extension without receiving the forbidden extension error.
