Hi, in IFS we can see who is presently connected, but is there a way to list all the users who connected IFS within the last 4 weeks for statistics purpose and better license management ?

Hi i am currently using IFS APP10 and have never used the Production Line Management window before.The company I work for are a build to order manufacture and we do a lot of repeat order work and have a core product that is manufactured every day.would a product such as our core product benefit from being set up as a production line in IFS?could anyone provide a brief explanation as to what exactly the Production Line Management window can do and when to use it?  regardsJamie

We are in IFS10 UPD10.  I would like to set the Date for Approval to a date in the past. I can’t edit this field. I can’t tell from F1 HELP whether that is standard behavior or not. Thanks

Hi,We found a problem when adding attachments in web browser Chrome and extension Aurena Agent is enabled. The documents can be added but not downloaded and viewed. This error seems to be related to Aurena Agent. As a workaround we can suggest to disable and enable the Aurena agent extension from chrome. Once you have done that step, You won't get the issue again. But you will also get the issue when re-login to the system.  Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Dear all, is there any possibility to define a sequence / sorting order for teams based on which to display them on the schedule board? It seams that currently teams are always sorted in an alphabetical order on the schedule board and that this can’t be changed or handled differently. Of course there would be the workaround to just include a sorting number / alphabetical character into the team ID but I’m searching for a more flexible / user friendly solution. regards,Thomas

Hi,How can we find whether an IFS App8 application is SP1 or SP2, if it is not specifically mentioned in the landing page link ?Can it be determined based on the client version (see below pic) specified in the About information ? Or can it be found in somewhere in the application ? Thanks, 

I dont see any lines here, hence I doubt if I followed the right steps to see ‘Posting Proposals Awaiting Authorization’. Can someone fill me in with the steps from PO receipt till I am able to see actual lines in this form? Thank You so much.   

We have created a po with 6 ‘no part’ lines.  3 of the lines are coded to project 6120 and the other 3 lines are coded to project 4547.  The Purchase Authorization Routing template that was selected is connection to Purchase Order Authorization Rule 100-4111 which has the ‘Apply Regardless of Project’ flag checked off.  The po was acknowledged, approved, release and received in full The manual supplier invoice was received and entered to match at PO Header, so only one invoice line was entered.  The posting proposal was created and the po matching was done for each of the 6 po lines automatically, no lines were ‘modified manually’.  The Status Detail Info is “Posting proposal is in balance and awaiting authorization”The Authorize tab shows the Approval Rule Source is Purchase  and the Approval Rule is 100-4111 as above, however, the lines that were coded to Project 6120 are all showing the following error:The code part combination on posting line with row id 1 is invalid for authorizer

Hi,we have a question,in Part A, the serial rule is the In Inventory and/or At Receipt and Issue.  Before receiving Part A on shop order, a serial structure is required. question arise here, is it mandatory that all the sub components have to be serialized and/or lot controlled parts?Thank you.Ron

Hi,Can we possible to delete a csv file which is located in database server using a custom event?File is located in this path. That csv file is created due to migration job failure. But customer needs to delete that file from db server before the next file will be come to db server.Thank you,Malan Jayanka

Hi, We recently changed our file server IP address, we were using the Shared option in file repository to store the documents on file server instead of database. How do i change the server ip address.Is it delete and reenter the path.

How does IFS Connect work , incase if i want to parse the file stored on remote network share or ftp server and write it onto a temporary table in IFS.

Hi Guys, Can any one help by providing the process :As we are aware that we will pay to Government the net off Input Tax(i., Tax on Purchases) and Output Tax (i., Tax on sales). Is there any procedure in IFS for auto  set off these two tax transactions and create a voucher with the Net amount payable to Government. .

currently the software consider Engine and airplane as different assembly. However, there are manufacturer tasks for engine assy but followed airplane Flight cycle and flight hour which require to be created on airplane assy. But there is an issue that during engine removed from an airplane installed back the scheduling require manual intervention.  please is there anyone who experience this problem? and some sort of solution as well.

We want to become better at follow up on Scrap in shop orders. Is there any good way to see how much a scrap of 2pcs in operation 50 costs (based on cost on previous operations and operation 50, or based on pre calculated cost per pcs and operation)? The end goal:A report for the “High Scrap Cost” operations last 12 months where we can address the big money and focus on the top 50.  Give imidiate feedback to each production group on their lobby that: The cost of scrap this week was XXX Your top 10 scrap this week was XXXX with a “year scrap” of YYYY (a table element) - Operators often have information on why there is scrap and what we can do to improve, we just want to provide them with relevant data at the right time so they start thinking about it.  @Björn Hultgren ? 

When some users attempt to drag and drop any document into the attachment pane, they get the following error:  The file type is not registered in Document Management/EDM Basic. Please contact the System Administrator.This seems to be a permissions issue because other users can drag and drop the same file with no issue.  Does anyone know what they could be missing?We recently upgraded from 7.5 to 10.  In 7.5, they had no issue with the drag and drop functionality.

Hi, is there a way to spread the purchase reqs that MRP creates, without splitting the shop order? Assume we have a big shop orders, of several months. We create repetive, 200.000PCS for example. All the same, one operation. One piece after the other.MRP will create a pur req to buy it all before the SO starts. But we would like to spread this out, a pur req for each 2 weeks for example, as we consume the components on a constant rate. Is this possible?

We have started an upgrade from App9 to IFS Cloud (2021 R1) along with replacing SAP.Although the Aurena client has loads of new cool features, there are couple of user friendly features in IEE which our users are heavily rely on in their day to day life.Advanced search with group by functions Conditional formatting Sticky notes Shortcut keysOur business is highly relying on these functions and we are having hard time getting the buy in for Cloud.Can we expect these features in later releases or are they any workarounds/new features which can support these?

Hi allFrom the requisition tab of a work order, a purchase requisition was made and a PO was created and released resulting in a “close” status of the requisition on the WO tab.Now, I want to cancel the PO again, but I get the message that there are peggings connected to the PO line and I have to remove the pegging first. Problem is, I cannot do anything from the WO screen to remove the pegging, so I’m stuck.How can I solve this? thanksKurt

What would be the best approach to remove a user from the support portal, when they’re not longer with the company? It seems to be a well defined process to register new users but no way to remove/inactivate one once registered. I opened a support “question” ticket and it takes more than 3d to follow up. Some of the people who need their access removed might do damage if not acted sooner. Is there any known path to follow?
