(Apps 10, Upd 7) Anyone having experience from setting up “Order Reports” like for example “Order Confirmation Reminder” as an scheduled job ?  I have seen earlier issue (https://community.ifs.com/topic/show?tid=3909&fid=50) and also tried to setup as a “Task Schedule” job  but would need some input if anyone done this before ?

We use the service contract functionality to create annual maintenance contracts for our customers. We would like to create and assign work orders to our engineers for scheduling purposes before the contract start date (we don’t plan to create any financial postings etc until the contract starts).   Example: A service contract with a start date of 01/02/2020. We would set this up in advance and use the ‘PM Settings’ tab to create the number of work orders we require. This would create the relevant entries on the ‘PM Maintenance Plan’ tab which you can generate work orders from. However the ‘Generate Work Order’ RMB option is greyed out on the ‘PM Maintenance Plan’ tab until you reach 01/02/2020. It would be ideal if we could do this the week before, this would allow us to schedule better.   We could just put the Start Date of the Service Contract earlier, however this would mean the date doesn’t reflect the correct ‘commercial’ start date.

Hi,When the users/employees are starting productions on shop order operations which have planned labor run time, the Labor Time tick box in Start Production dialog box is selected by default. However, noticed that the user/employee who is doing the Start Production, can untick it, and proceed, which cause the labor hours/cost is not captured. Is there a way to restrict for the users to untick that checkbox ? Thank you in advance !

Hello, Noob question. Is it possible to connect Report Designer to IFS Cloud? After I installed the Report Designer, I try to connect it and it’s asking for host:port.  Fair enough, but in IFS Cloud I can only provide the URL with no portcompanyName-d02.demo.ifs.cloud  Is it possible in IFS Cloud to connect a Report Designer installed on a developer’s machine? Do I need to create a IAM Client in IFSCloud for this? Or how would the authentication work? I guess it would still be OAuth2 right? Many thanks in advance for any feedback on this topic. Regards,Marcel

I am trying to use projection PartsHandling in IFS10 update 8 with a C#/VB program, .NET 4.7.2, NuGet package Microsoft.OData.Client v7.7.1.Reading many parts works:GET /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet?$select=PartNo,Description&$skip=150&$top=50 HTTP/1.1Reading a single part works correctly:GET /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet?$filter=PartNo eq 'MYPART'&$top=1&$count=true HTTP/1.1Creating a part also works:POST /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet HTTP/1.1But updating the same part does not work:PATCH /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet('MYPART') HTTP/1.1I got that error:{"error":{"code":"ODP_NOT_ALLOWED","message":"Illegal operation."}}I did not find documentation about ODP_NOT_ALLOWED but it probably mean "OData PATCH not allowed". I looked at the documentation in Aurena, under API Explorer, for the PartsHandling projection and the

Hi Team, What is the usage of above window? How can we add postings for this screen? (May be using ‘Create Interim Sales Voucher’ option) Will ‘Create Interim Sales Voucher’ process create vouchers? Will it have any issue by creating vouchers for old Order?Best Regards,Thakshila

Hi - We are a IFS cloud customer. Currently on apps 10 and will be moving to v12. Nothing is hosted on-prem. The login page for apps 10 has a forgotten password option which we have been told does not work and will not in version 12 which is odd considering the option is there and that ‘password resets’ is a basic part of any hosted platform. As a result we have to manually reset peoples passwords. As a company with over 2000 employees, this is not practical.Does anyone have any input on this please? We are open to using the IFS API’s to create are own password reset function.Thanks.Nav.

I have a question about WEBSERVICES and Token : how it works, what is the process to achieve the value transported. For example : Indeed, we encounter the authentication problem Error 401--Unauthorized on the following webservice: https://assystem-test.ifs.cloud:48080/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/TimeRegistrationHandling.svc Maybe the webservice uses a token to authenticate itself despite the use of a basic IFS Aurena login/password authentication.       We used Postman to perform our requests (GET,POST,PUT). Can you please tell us what are the access parameters of this webservice as well as the descriptions of these different methods.

I’ve started a project and ca new omponent recently using Dev Studio 10.82.6231.10191024. Project internals were generated with a _create_project_root.cmd script. Now the Build Home folder says an index is 11 days old, but some of original component’s entities have changed but I can’t refer to those dynamically. Clear and Refresh does not update components, but gives NRE : java.lang.NullPointerException    at ifs.dev.nb.project.ui.explorer.BuildHomeNodeIx$OpenBuildHomeFolderAction.enable(BuildHomeNodeIx.java:635)    at org.openide.util.actions.NodeAction$DelegateAction.resultChanged(NodeAction.java:615)    at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor55.invoke(Unknown Source)    at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43)    at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498)    at org.openide.util.WeakListenerImpl$ProxyListener.invoke(WeakListenerImpl.java:487)    at com.sun.proxy.$Proxy4.resultChanged(Unknown Source)[catch] at org.openide.util.loo

I'm working on a migration project and experiencing an extreme slowness when migrating customer related data into IFS. When monitoring the session i can see that the  new method in customer info address and commethod is calling a duplicate check method in RM_DUP_SEARCH_XXXXX (COMM_METOD_TAB or CUSTOMER_INFO_ADDRESS_TAB). How can I disable this duplicate check ? all the duplicate check rules have been disabled. no history logging in action

Hi Team, Can you please confirm the feasibility of creating Automatic Requests for the Refill of a Stock once the Quantity goes less than Min Qty. If yes, Can you please provide the possible option. NOTE : I could create a Purchase Order or Requisition using the “Refill to Tragets” option, but we are looking for a Request with Part Transfer Part Need.

Hi Folks, I have a question that why following invoiced/closed customer orders are appearing in the Outstanding Sales window.   I have query into customer invoice, and it is on PaidPosted status as below.  Revenue related postings also there. As per the page help it is not possible to show customer orders which has already revenue posted.

When you run the re-order point report you get a requisition for each part that needs to be ordered in order to replenish stock levels. If the supplier is the same for those parts is there any methodto create just one purchase requisition or RFQ and send it to the supplier instead of creating multiple requisitions?

Hi, A client need is the following : Some inventory locations are so close to production line that it’s not necessary to pick the parts in advance (they even so need to be reserved, naturally). We’d like to exclude those parts from the picking lists generated by the system. Is there a setup at the warehouse/inventory location level to flag them as “to be excluded from picking list”Thanks for your answer.

in manual supplier invoice, system display this error after matching to GRN  and before and after attaching the document.

We are implementing the Incident Reporting module and will be attaching work orders to incidents.  I have added the IncidentObjectConnection^ string to the WorkOrder LU in the Object Connections list and am able select work orders from the Connected To tab in the Incident screen.  However when I right click on the work order on the Connected To tab I am not seeing the Object Details… option on the pop-up menu to jump to the work order screen, any suggestions on what may be causing this? While running a trial of the incident module in our RACE environment this functionality worked as expected, we just can’t seem to get the Object Details piece to work in our test environment.

Is the service Report in mWo Service 10 supposed to not show expenses that have been reported in mobile?

Could someone provide me with insight to this Supplier Manual Invoice Posting.  I appreciate your help

Let me preface this with telling you I know absolutely nothing about IFS. I work for an MSP and one of our newest clients uses it. I wasn’t able to find any KB, and reaching out to IFS support didn’t help - they wouldn’t talk to me without a ticket. I have a user that needs to print from IFS. I need a print agent as a go between her windows printers and IFS right? which one should i get? I know they used cirrato in the past. She also is unable to drag and drop files from her desktop to attach them to documents, any workaround there?Once again, any KB links accessible by non-subscribers would be greatly appreciatedTIA

Hi, I have made changes to the SQL Statement for a custom field which do not appear to have been ‘accepted’ by IFS and displayed on the IFS screen. I read in the Help that a refresh of the cache is necessary - can anyone help me with how to refresh the cache to get my SQL change to be ‘accepted and implemented’ by IFS 8 please? Thanks,Neil.

Hi All,  Is it possible to change the color of the tasks that show up in the webclient? The baseline color for the enroute status is transparent and therefore it is difficult to know if there a job on the gantt or not. Confirmed status - Greenplanning - blackEnroute - transparent   thanks
