When we add materials to a Service Order and create a PR to order them, we have two options for the “Delivery To”:  Warehouse or Customer Delivery to Warehouse is good if we know which Van or warehouse to use and Customer is good if we are selling the parts directly to the customer but we have a hybrid situation which is common for us, to ship the parts directly to the Customer Site (not sold to them yet), to be picked up by the SA when they arrive. Delivery to Customer is ideal for this situation because we don’t always know which SA will make the visit, so whoever arrives there can then confirm the drop-ship and collect the parts and use them on the visit BUT the problem is that any parts that are not used in the call still belong to us, not the customer, so we want unused parts to remain in the SA van stock.  What happens though is that as soon as the Service Order is removed from Mobile, the parts also get removed so we lose control of them. Hi All, We can use SQL expressions in IFS EE advanced option Seems this type of search expression is invalid in Aurena and it doesn’t like the SQL part. Is there a way to use SQL expressions in Aurena queries? 

Trying to terminate an employee in Apps9, we have made no system changes but getting the below message. From debug it seems to be from the Former Employee Group - but there is no valid to date on the group. Any thoughts.

Hiwhen we receive and IFS build spec it mentions that the SGA/PGA value should be set as a standard. We believe this is set in the Oracle template. One of our customers had an issue where IFS crashed out. We have not been using the “Action Taken” flag within the MRP Action Proposals. We just started looking into implementing this as a must.What is the best way to trace past messages that have been processed? Hi all, (On IFS10, UPD7. In process of updating to UPD9) We had a org change, causing that the current Direct Superior for a position is to be updated from Position A to Position B. As per IFS standard, you cannot just do that. But you can also not duplicate the line and assign another Direct Superior, as then it complains about the record already existing. Playing with the Valid To date is also not possible, as all the employee currently connected to the Position are blocking this.  Has anyone found a solution for this, that doesn’t involve having to update multiple Employee Records?All the employees stay in the current position, it’s only the manager that is to become a different position. 

When I add a new user to Access Template/Document Class, the new user gets access to documents created after access is given.Is there a way that I can give the new user access to old documents as well?

Hi, Does anyone know, whether scanner is supported to change the tracking structure in Shop Floor Workbench, tab Tracked Structure.IFS standard in APP10, RMB function support user to remove the current tracked structure, and if it is a touch screen, you could drag and drop the serialized part under the parent part, and rebuild the tracked structure. Instead of reading serials in visual, does system support scan the parent part, then the component serial no, then tracked structure is established immediately.Thank you.Ron

Hi!I am in the process of completely redoing our Roles and am using the Test environment (obviously) to verify that they are working correctly.  I am however, unable to figure out how to export the role tables out of TEST and import them into PROD.  There is nothing shown in the import/export list…Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Matt

Hi, Im creating a lobby with all the relevant information regarding a supplier. This lobby will be used when having supplier meetings to show the current status and overview. There is no problem creating counters, KPI and everything with numbers and have it sorted by the supplier. But when it comes to all the other data that is text-values in different columns, how do I present them the best? I would like to be able to show them in a list element like this:Information             ValueSupplier No              12345Name                         Supplier nameDel terms                  FCATransp days             5etc…I can transpose it like that in PL/SQL query using unpivot. But I cannot get this result table into a lobby data source. Is there any function that can get it into the lobby?(i know how to create a quick report or a normal list element with all the values in a diffrent column but it is not what im after)

Hi, On a task, when I add a part need , I always have the field : “Place ID from” initialized by the place for stock linked to the user who perfrom the action “part need”  (if the person has a place for stock documented,...of course I want to keep this relation)How could we prevent this initialization in the part need ?In many cases for a Part need, the Place ID of the request have a Place for stock linked to the place of the request (customer place).The stock is managed often by the team who is responsible of the customer or a Central warehouse.So, the place “Place ID from” should be initialized by the place for stock linked to the customer place.How can we do that ? Thanks and Regards

When we are working with the POSTMAN IDE, need to create REQUESTs from API.  In Aurena, we can follow the below REQUEST  structure to generate it. https://<APP_SERVER>/int/SOAPGATEWAY Using the "API Explorer" window, we are able to get the exact API documentation. Afterward, we are able to find the REQUEST from the Doc.  In order to find the request, what I'm doing is, Finding the name of the tab. 2. Finding the Entity.  Finally using the Entity and searching it the API Doc. Sometimes for point 2, the problem is we may have to use EntitySet rather than Entity.  For example, if we need to get a company from the companies on the list we may need to use EntitySet. My question is, is there any other way to find the API REQUEST rather than what I'm doing?
