Our manufacturing quality group would like to trigger a Control Plan analysis once for each finished good roll (think roll of fabric) that is produced. Seems like a valid business requirement. I  have read the documentation on Sample Frequency Trigger and understand that you can’t create custom trigger types. I have read about Acceptance sampling and don’t think that will do the trick (but maybe I am just missing it.)has anyone done this before? Thanks

Hello, I have setup a Payment method for a Supplier. According to the IFS Help, I can perform a RMB on the method and select Electronic Payment Addresses to enter the information in. However, when I attempt to do this, that option is greyed out. I have checked Permissions and I have full access to the screen. In the help, I do not see any additional prerequisites to add this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Inventory Part has the Inventory Valuation method Standard Cost, Cost Per Lot Batch and Zero Cost Allowed  Business Purpose - I want to count in a new lot batch with zero cost. I know how to modify Cost Level Details in the Inventory Part and receive the part at zero cost for the cost modified Lot / Batch Number only.My question is how do I create a new lot batch with zero cost without having to go through modifying an existing lot batch no? When I try to do ‘Count Per Inventory Part’ entering a brand-new Lot number, I am unable to count in with zero cost. It automatically takes the Unit Cost assigned to other lot batches, and thereby creates an inventory transaction without zero cost. If I want to count in a new lot batch with zero inventory value, what should I do?

Hi All,I get below error when running a Interest Proposal. This customer is a inactive customer who does not have a AR Balance. The Address are also set to inactive using valid to date.I am not sure why system validates a customer who is inactive and without any AR Balance. I believe,  inactive customers without AR balance should be ignored when running the Interest Proposal.Does any one know whether there is any way to run the Interest Proposal only for Active Customers.Thanks

Any official procedure to change IFSSYS password for apps10 ?

It seems like this should be easy but I am getting strange results. I’ve created a custom LU with 3 custom fields:  a checkbox for the user to use,  a ‘checked by’ field to capture the User who clicks the checkbox along with the date they did it.The ‘Checked by’ field is created as Field Type = Read Only I am using this expression: This does correctly capture the user who is logged on and checks the checkbox. The problem is after that data is entered, when I later log on (or anyone else is) to view that info, it picks up my ID and the current date. It is picking up the user who is logged on (which it is supposed to) but I don’t want that to change when anyone views it. The custom field is not updateable and not insertable (they are grayed out, even if I wanted to make it Insertable but not updateable.  I am out of ideas. Anyone out there have any? Thanks

The default email message from Mobile Edge that we are getting is:“Dear customer, please find attached the Service Order Report for Work Order: SV2104200007@@1.”We’d like to change that if possible, does anyone know where this is stored and if it is editable?

We receive PO lines with serials in our daily business. Those PO lines have charges distributed by amount. But let’s say, we receive only 200 out of the 500 PO line quantity, the total charges get allocated to that lot of 200 only. The next lot of 300 has zero charges allocated. Hence the Unit value of the inventory is significantly less compared to the first receipt. Is there a way to overcome this in IFS?  

Hi,Hope y’all are well.I am facing an issue regarding Hedge Contracts. My client has some hedge contracts with banks, to set a fixed exchange rate, for a fixed period, for specific suppliers. I need to register those contracts and attach to specific suppliers in order to use the contract fx rate instead of the updated system one when invoicing.I.e., I need to:Attach the bank agreements with the suppliers To have a “expire” date in those agreements The agreements must automatically fix/set the fx rate in new invoicesIf it is not possible to make it automatically, at least set the fx rate per supplier. Does anyone know how to do it? i have this error when starting my job  ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [TAX_LIABILITY_TYPE] is mandatory for Order Quotation Line and requires a value.  TAX_LIABILITY_TYPEis not null in my file  and i also try to give default value but still have errorplz help

From the debrif work flow when I goto attachment screen and clicking on add attachment icon its takes me to the TaskAttachmentAdd screen where I could see the description and type of attachment along with the attachment.  When I click on save it saves the attachment. But in that same screen TaskAttachmentAdd  where I can add the description and type I enabled user_def1 from task_attachment table. I put some value in description and value in user_def1 and saved the description saved with the attachment but user_def1 is still Null.Can anybody tell this what is the appropriate way to add one more column like user_def1 and save to task_attachment table

Hi Community,I need to make this field read only for every users in the environment.I tried to make it read only by RMB on the page >Properties > Read only but it reflected for only the current account. We are having a problem where cost set 3 (latest purchase price) and 4 (average purchase price) is not populating (showing as $0.00) on all parts. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this issue?
