We use multiple companies in IFS and sometimes we see that an invoice lands in the wrong company what gives a error message. That is a good thing because you do not want an invoice for company A in the administration of company B. Unfortunately I have not found the option yet to change the company code within the screen of external supplier invoices. Is it possible to change companies within this screen? Or do you have to push through to the wrong company and then within the wrong company and then ‘cancel and create’ into the correct company?

Hi All,Does anyone have recommendations on how to mass-insert records from a XML Hierarchy select? Our goal is to automatically add “person_place - PORTAL_PLACE” records when a new place is created in FSM, based on the place’s global_name.     i.e.    new place (PlaceA) is added for global_name (Spencer)hierarchy select retrieves all person_id’s for people that have Portal_Place entries for “Spencer” Mass-insert inserts a new person_place record for “PlaceA” for the people identified in the Hierarchy Select. We tried with Mass_Update, which seems to be limited to “update” or “delete” only..  we can’t insert new entrieswe tried with Perform_batch, but the insert portion only applies to the 1st result of the hierarchy select (multiple results, always just 1 insert) sample of the perform batch: <perform_batch><hierarchy_select result_name="ppinsert"> <primary_table>person_place</primary_table> <from>person_place</from> <attrs> <attr>person_

I have a data source with a Market_Code parameter. The Lobby Element is a counter displaying  a total value On clicking on the counter it opens the correct Quick Report but it is waiting for the user to enter the parameter. How can I get the Lobby MARKET_CODE parameter value to pass through to the Quick Report Market Code parameter. In the past with list elements this is easy because it is simply a case of selecting the target column:   However, the counter doesn’t have this options.  I tried adding the Lobby Parameter value to the Data Source:  But the counter doesn’t have the target column option. I have tried amending the URL Address e.g. ifsrep:qr.598898&MARKET_CODE=$MARKET_CODE$ but then the report doesn’t open. Please advise. John

We have a requirement to setup GDPdU for a German customer.The setup ‘per se’ seems pretty straight forward. Having looked in the LCS in IFS there are a few “How To” instructions ( that are not accessable) Does anyone have a similar type doc - in German or English doesn’t matter - to help us understand what the requirement is, how previous DE localization now in Core should be setup to properly meet the requirements of GDPdU in Germany etc. Any guidance is very much appreciated. //K 

Hello, I have an issue where associates forget to clock out of Time Clock at the end of their shift. This causes an issue with the Time Card and reporting. Is there a way to have IFS automatically clock a user out after a given period of time (ie - after 15 hours)?I believe this would also resolve the issue of users forgetting to log out of Shop Orders in Workbench as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Open DP client > View > Uncheck Detail View, Forecast Comment, Querry. Open Forecast graph and maximize its size. Then close the DP client a log again. Open forecast graph. It will show without any issue. Close the DP client again and log again. Client will not open as it is crashed.   This has been fixed in APP10 UPD 4 onwards. For any issues reported below UPD4, below workaround can be used.  Go to regedit, HKEY _CURRENT_USER>SOFTWARE>IFS>Demand Client and delete that. Open the Demand Planner client again with settings again. Then DP client will be open without any issue once the registries are deleted.

Dear all,we are searching for a way to indicate more products in one task.Currently our structure looks as followsMultiple tasks can be be created below one request In one task only one product can be assigned → this is already done via configuration on the request screenGoal is to assign more products to one task. Background is that we are doing service on product lines, which can consist of multiple products. We typically don’t know which product is worked on first (technicians check the line on site). For the time being it would be sufficient to have one main product (assigned via the request to all tasks) and adding a list of additional products that need to be serviced on site. Naive question: Why not add via UI designer an additional tab in the task, establish the link  via child relations to products and further add a list, where the user can select products (as many as preferred). regards,Thomas

I’ve got a counter lobby element that I want to launch tbwOverviewCustomerAgreement from.The screen launches fine but it’s got a company filter on it and this is not passed to the screen from the lobby element.  I can’t figure out how to pass the COMPANY from the data source.Anyone got any ideas?

When we click on Search we usually see the Keywords at the top of the screen.  For some reason this is now missing. Where can this be enabled/disabled? Regards Joh

HiIs anybody automatically matching rental lines to invoices in IFS. We have done it with PO lines but we are looking for a solution to do it with Rental lines that would feed into accruals for period-end reporting

Environment: Preview Environments Portal Test plan: Log into IFS 10 Enterprise Explorer  Create a lobby element and add it to an existing lobby. Verify that it is working as expected in the EE.  Now go to Aurena and try to open that lobby.  I am getting the below error. Does anyone know why I am getting this error. Hi All,When we create a context filtered by USER_ID (For an example, in the newly created context we change the label value from "Site" to "TSite"). Following are some of the questions regarding this scenario.How will the changed context value("TSite") will be sent to the mobile device? Will it be stored in any table in the mobile device or is there any other mechanism? How can I confirm whether the changed context value has been transferred to the mobile device without viewing the UI? Using Apps10.  We are using a PO to receive returns from customers because we need to have the parts be customer owned.  If we use an RMA the ownership changes to Company Owned.  We would like to reserve the serial number to the PO line when the PO is created.  When we try to do that we get the message that the serial number is already used by this part.  However, when we do a Receive with Serial Numbers we are allowed to enter an existing serial number.  It seems that if we can receive an existing SN we should be able to reserve an existing SN.  Does anyone know if there is a way to reserve existing serial numbers to a PO?

Hi,What is the user case behind the Start Downtime and Stop Downtime functionality in Shop Floor Workbench?If I Start Downtime on an ongoing operation, why only the machine time clocking stop and labor keep on clocking? Why not Stop Production?  Is it wrong practice to use Start Downtime on an ongoing operation, instead of Interrupt the operation?Cheers
