Hi all, We have a request from the business to be able to EXPORT many tables / search results. The issue we are running into is that if you give EXPORT access then you have to give IMPORT access also.   We do not have to give everyone IMPORT.  Is there a way to give most users the EXPORT ability but not IMPORT?

Hi does any one know if there is a way on IFS apps 10 to which displays the complete manufacturing ONLY lead time for a top level part which includes all the lower level parts that are consumed by top level structure? regardsJamie

Hi Experts, I have a case where a certain user can’t see the “Use Windows Authentication” option is not showed. This happens only in one computer. When another computer is used that option is showed correctly.Issue occurs only in one laptop and when the user tries to log in using “FSM Authentication”, following error message in showed. Customer also mentions they were able to log in using Windows Authentication last week without any problems.SSO Enabled option is checked in “Person” screen and SSO User ID is given correctly. What could be the issue in this one computer ? Any ideas ? P:S. Customer is using FSM6U6

Hi all, When i try to send e-mail to someone from the bottom of the standart pdf dialog by standart last user account it is not working. But its working with IFSAPP account.So i checked standart permissions and events but it is not solved.Let me know what i missing please?Best regards.   

Hi,I have got a request from a customer, who is using IFS Application 7.5 to change the attachment name when sending an automated email from the purchase order screen. Unfortunately, with APPS7.5, we don’t have report rules. Unlike in higher IFS versions. We cannot use the ‘PDF_FILE_NAME’ attribute to change the attachment name, as it gets overridden by the core logic. We are not allowed to customize/override the standard code too. But we can implement custom packages and can use custom menus etc.. to come up with a solution.Since we cannot override and change the standard code, I was trying to implement the same logic from a custom package. Inside the custom logic, it creates a new print job and set the attachment name as what’s requested and using command_sys.mail()  to send the attachment. But it has failed with the below error on the Application messages.Seems that, it’s failing inside the command_sys. Could you please help me to fix this issue? Can we get this error when the pdf f

Hello,We are working with our Customer Contact Management for leveraging IFS as our CRM. We have our customer sites split out as separate customers to allow for different rep assignments and visibility at the site level of a Customer 360 view. We are running into an issue where the Customer Contact’s Manager is located at a different site (therefore a different customer in IFS). Is there a way around this? Is this functionality on the roadmap for IFS? The only workaround i found was to add the manager to the site where his/her employee was located. Thanks! Carrie

When creating a new business opportunity we have noticed that some customer ID’s with a active market value is not being pulled into the field market on the business opportunity. Any reason why this may be happening?

When adding a new activity in Mobile (Mobile Edge 15.3.0.0.1), we need to find the required activity by searching on the description.  We really need to be able to do a complex search, such as %EU%cal%10% or the like.  Is there any way we can use wildcards in mobile searches?  I tried using % and also * but they don’t act as wildcards.  Thanks.

Hi I have a finished good with a standard cost (BOM & Routing exist) but I want it at zero cost in my inventory, ie all actual cost on the shop order comes as a shop order deviation in P&L. I guess the best idea is to set the item to ‘zero cost only’   but when I try to save it I get an error   But I have no idea how to set the cost of the product to zero!Anybody now how to move forward here ? Thanks,    Søren

Hello community. We want to use the system event NEXT_AUTH_PURCH_ORDER to mail the acknowledger/authorizer. This works, with a new action with adjusted email text. Our version is IFS10 UPD10. However, the authorization setup is done with groups, for example: PROJECTS.Now the email is sent to all members within the group PROJECTS when a purchase order needs to be authorized.  I see 2 ways to have it sent to the specific authorizer (= project manager).either a possibility to add a field to the event (if possible, how to do?) change the field MESSAGE_TEXT and add information there (if possible, how to do?)If neither of the above is possible, can anyone tell me where to find the original event in pl/sql so i can create a copy and change that ? thank you in advance for your help.

HelloWe are trying to setup the B2B supplier portal but we also have problems getting access to the documents. We are missing the Attachment pane in the B2B module but we can see that documents are attached.I have signed in as app owner We have update 10  We have created a document class named “B2B DOC” it was not there   We have component  “DocumentHomeB2b” Documents attached to PO lines are releasedanyone having an idea what more to do? :-)

Hello Community,We are using IFS APPS 8. What is Back Fulsh , Auto Report of Operations and Simplified Material check and its uses while reciveing shop orders. For teting purpose I have create a shop order with Lit Size of 1000.Then I have manually reserved this shop order with only one qty  of component parts in Material Tab.Then I have Issued manually One qty.Then I have reported total 1000 qty.Then I have Checked Simplified Material check option in Receive Shop order window in Material and Operations and received manually 1000 qty. This behavior of shop order receipt does not required coponent parts stock in system.If only one component is reserved and issue then user can receive 1000 qty shop order in system. I need to know what is the purpose of this Simplified Material check tab. RegardsDeepak

When the Site is set to auto build tracked structures, what logic is used for allocating reserved lots of component parts to the parent serials/lot(s) on a shop order? What determines how much of each lotgoes where?

dear all,           I want to give CCombobox a default value when I open the page. How can I implement it? I tried to assign it a value under the load event, but the page doesn't show up correctly 

For the life of me I am 99% certainthere is a setting in IFS that allows you to either block or allow 3-way AP matching  of items received on a PO that has not passed quality inspection.  If I am correct, where is this setting in APPS?  If I am wrong then please let me know. Thanks,  Curtis Taylor
