Is there any site setting in Cloud for created SO's to come through with Forward Scheduled selected as standard, not Backwards Scheduled?

Hi Dasuni,

As per Naveena's answer, it's not possible to add a default Sched Direction for a site. You have to change it for individual orders. The same seems to apply for Cloud as well.

If you create a new order it will take the direction as ‘backward’. But after you change the direction to forward and if you duplicate that order, then it will take ‘forward’ as the scheduling direction for the new order.

Best regards,

Pabasara

Yes, it is the same for Cloud as well.

Since some functionalities such as capability check uses that logic by default, there is no setting to change it to Forward Scheduling.

Should be possible to create a Customer Event to trigger Forward Scheduling automatically atShop Order creation.

If you are manually creating Shop Orders, you could create a Template and save it as the default.  Using a default Template, you can select the Shop Orders to be created with Forward Scheduling.  Also as Aan de Silva suggested, you should be able to create an event or trigger to do this as well.
