Is there a specific defined definition for the “DATE APPLIED” field in the windows Labor History, Opreration History and Indirect Labor History other than the definition given from the help option in IFS documentation?

A Labor History transaction have 3 different dates to keep track of. I think the help texts pretty well describes their different Usage

  • Date Created -The date on which the transaction was created.
  • Transaction Date - The date at which the originating activity of the transaction was performed
  • Date Applied -The date at which the transaction was financially booked. This might differ from the transaction date if the transaction was recorded for a closed financial period or when the value has been manually updated.

Example:

Today is 2020-03-06. I manually report some labor time for an operation that was performed 2020-02-28, but February periods is already closed for my user. Transaction will be created with below dates:

  • Date Created - 2020-03-06
  • Transaction Date - 2020-02-28
  • Date Applied - 2020-03-01
