Hi all, In the customer order process, after customer order line partially delivery for a line with non-inventory sales part, I’m creating a customer invoice and this invoice is then posted/authorized.If my customer rejects my delivery (for example because he disacreases the quantity), I’m able to create a customer credit invoice.However, I’m not able to cancel the delivery : IFS raises an error message due to the connection of the delivery to an existing invoice. As a consequence, I cannot create a new delivery with the corrected quantity and then create a new invoice with this delivered quantity.Is there a setup in the application to allow a delivery cancellation if the invoice has been credited? Thanks in advance for your help. Requirement - Example:On a customer order, I have a line with a number of engineer hours : 100h.I deliver and invoice 30h.The customer rejects the invoice, he agrees only on 25h.I need to create the credit invoice and cancel the delivery for the 30h.Then I ha

Hello,  I have been working through creating custom fields for the ProjectBalance LU I am trying to have Category1_id, Category2_id, and DEFAULT_CHAR_TEMP all from the Project LU added as columns. I added all 3 fields successfully but they coming up blank. These are supposed to be read-only fields as well. Both Category2 and Char Template are using referenced fields and then I tried to use SQL to pull in the data but either way it is coming up blank.  Does anyone know why or can lead me in the direction to figure out what might be going on? Thanks,Eli

Earlier I had a question on how to receive a new lot batch with zero cost and @Lahiru Dissanayake clarified it through this post.  No problems there, his recommendation works for those parts.Now I tried to receive a set of parts with FIFO as the Inventory valuation Method and ‘Cost Per Part’ as the cost level.  I can receive them through ‘Receive Inventory Part’ in IFS and it reduces the total inventory cost as it averages it. That’s ok.  Now let’s say, I issue some of those parts. The Unit Cost and the total inventory value becomes zero.   Can you recommend a way to do that without total becoming zero please?

Hi All, I am getting below error while login to the application. "Error===IFSAPP.GENERAL_SYS must be declared ifsapp^.General_SYS.Init_Centura_Session__( :lsCategoryRestriction, :lsLUList, :lsSettings, :lsUserGlobal, :lsSessionInfo )Error=== I am tring to login as IFSIMP(app owner) and their is no user clled IFSAPP in the system as mentioned in the error message.I found below actions from some old cases. 1. Deploy the  'General_SYS'  package and make sure that there are no deployment errors.- Could not find the above package from harvest to do a fresh deployment.  2. Inspect the 'SQL.INI' file. INSTRUCTIONS: In these types of error message, the appowner ID is always present before the "GENERAL_SYS.INIT_CENTURA_SESSION_" in the identifier. The fact that there is no User ID identified in this error message means that the system is not    recognizing any user ID as the IFS Application Owner. The SQL.INI file probably does not have the appowner identified. There should be a line in the IFS

Hi :)!In an UPD 9 as released environment I created a lobby based on the following setup.Element Designer:Data Source Designer:When the lobby is loaded the count is correctly displayed.When the lobby is clicked the navigation page is loaded but the relevant data (4 rows) is not been loaded. Hence a client DB call is not thrown. When the above lobby was imported to an UPD 10 as released environment the above issue did not get re-created. Further I have checked the permission set related to the objects and I didn’t notice any issue.Can someone please help me to find the root cause?Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to make an inventory type obsolete, unusable, etc. so that it can no longer be used? We are attempting to more accurately align and describe our inventory types, but seem unable to make the originals not show up as an option in transactions. Suggestions?

We are running Apps10 UPD10 We used custom fields to add fields to track supplier specific tracking info during the purchasing process.  The challenge is, if we use the “Copy Order” function to duplicate the order, the custom field values are also being copied over, so then we have to clear them.Is there a way to indicate “don’t include this custom field” in the copy?  Either in the copy step or in the custom field?

Hi Experts,What is the proper process for adding an index to a baseline FSM table?  For example, we may need to add an index on the User_def2 field on the table, ATTACHMENT.  What is the process?   Do we add the index ourselves with the knowledge that any FSM updates/upgrades in the future would most likely remove this index?  Or do we submit a ticket to CS to have them add the index?Thanks in Advance !

Hello, Is there any possibility in IFS to define an ADJUSTMENTS accounting period?Most of the business are  having a 13th period  to adjust balances prior to the closing. I tried to create such a period (type Ordinary) and I am getting an error:Date 31-MAR-2022 is already part of another period. Regards,

We have on-premise IFS TouchApps running fine in production (Apps10 UPD5 TouchApps Server version) and need to install a new Test environment on the same server.When running IFSTouchAppsServerInstaller.exe to create the new TouchApps environment the installer values default to contain the existing production Touchapp server values.  If we change the settings on the first screen to point to the test database instance for the deployment, and then use the ‘Test Connection’ option to  make sure all is OK, this works fine.However the problem happens on the next screen where the System ID is also set to the Production value but cannot be changed (it is showing as a read only field).  How can I remove or change this value, or where can I find/clear the old configuration that the installer executable uses to remember these old settings?Right now I am unable to install a new test environment on the server unless it is given the same System ID as the current production System ID, which is a real

When trying to login to the FSM Smart Client using SSO, the customer receives a message "Only the owner of a flow can change it." Why would this message appear when using Single Sign On? 

We have to have separate responsiblities in supplier data between Purchasing dep (supplier data) and finance dep. (invoicing data) to make sure that no one can create a supplier without anyone else seeing it. Today we have a separate workflow in sharepoint so that Purchasing have to approve the changes and details finance enters.Is there any way to create a workflow for the entering of financial data on supplier so that purchasing dep. can approve the changes/data within IFS?What is that functionality called? I have a migration script, which runs a query and outputs a csv file based on criteria in the screen shot below.It is being run manually at the moment, with the pay_date updated each time.What can i put in the where clause that would be where company = ‘ABC’ and the pay_date = TODAY?I will then schedule this to run on a daily basis to output the days ledger activity
