Does any one know how i can adjust the below SQL so that it rounds to the nearest whole number. i am trying to see 10% of records to count a month. Supporting Canadian EFT and US ACH Payments

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD8 (planning to go to UPD10). I’m looking for some ideas on how we can get IFS to support both the Canadian EFT format and the US ACH format for supplier paymentsBackground - we are in Canada. And the Canadian EFT file format does not match the US ACH format. The 2 do the same thing, but have different file formats. When we implemented IFS Apps8 SP1+, we needed a way to build the bank’s EFT file to upload to their site for electronic payments. At that time, the recommendation was to write logic to redirect the ACH selection to our defined EFT format. We uplifted that code to Apps10 when we upgrade.Fast forward - our finance department now has a need to do both EFT and ACH payments. Our current solution is an either/or (either EFT or ACH, not both).I’m looking for suggestions on how we could design a solution so thatWe can revert to standard IFS ACH We can continue to create EFT payment files - in the format we already have setup We can keep (either as

Find the right arguments for a custom field

Hi,I want to add a custom field to the Shipment Lines.This field needs to refer to the field ‘Customer PO No’ on the header of a customer order. I did build a SQL query to fetch desired field:SELECT c.customer_po_no FROM Customer_Order c, Shipment_Line s WHERE c.order_no = s.source_ref1 I don’t know what I need to add in the field ‘Arguments’. Printing a report without the price figures

We use IFS Sales Quotations. Sometimes when we are printing them sharing internally, we need the price figures in it (Price, Net Amount) hidden or zeroed. We wouldn’t want to change the value in IFS to zero. Is there a way I can achieve it only when I am printing the report?

Payroll Pension suspensions

Hi, We are having an issue with the contributions tab in payroll info where it is randomly suspending contributions when a future date is entered but is not then activating when it reaches the future date. This isn't happening consistently so just wandered if there is some set up missing somewhere, has anyone come across this? We are using Version 8 SP1. Thanks

Prevent special chars from being entered in IFS fields

Is there a way to prevent special chars from being entered into IFS fields by users? For example, percent sign %, ampersand &, underscore _, etc. I seem to remember there being a basic data / system setup screen in IFS whereby you can list characters which you want to be “disallowed”, but I don't remember the name of the screen that holds this system setup/ basic data setting, and haven't been able to find reference to it in the help system. PM Action Elimination

In IFS Apps 8, is it possible to create a PM elimination when both events are calendar based? We have a PM trigger every 3 months for a minor vehicle service. We also have an annual major service once a year so don’t want the minor vehicle service to trigger at the point the annual major service is triggered.Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

Apps9 - Auto Generate Expiration date for stock on receipt of shop order

Is it possible to set by inventory part the number of days from receipt into stock that the expiration date needs to be? From looking at the IFS help the expiration date field appears to be a manual entry and can not be auto populated on receiving a shop order. Thanks for your help in advance, Sarah

Issue on IFS IEE Development Tools in Visual Studio

Hi,We are facing issue while installing SetupIFSAPFDevelopmentTools.exe. In Team Server Project root, we have given the proper path of the project root. Installation gets completed successfully but when we try to build the solution facing assembly files missing errors. We have attached few screenshots of the error we are facing. Does background jobs with queue_id=4 get prioritized?

Hi all,I have noticed that if I run a background job with queue_id=4 (Touch apps push), it with execute within a few seconds.I have now created a new queue (9) with the same parameters as 4 and it always execute much slower. Can anyone explain why and what to do about it (20 sec is sometimes too slow)?

Navigation to a custom page through command in Aurena

Hi,I have created a custom page called Boq_Cco_Connections and have connected to navigator. It is working fine without any issues. Am trying to add a new command in contract change order window, which will have to navigate to the custom page that I have created (Boq_Cco_Connections).But during the setup, its shows the page as below in the drop down to select. But when i try to add the navigation parameters, its not showing any attributes in the drop down. Am I missing any settings here? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Change Document Repository

Hello,I hope somebody out there has experience moving documents from the database to an FTP Server.We are on IFS 9. In my screenshots below I have a document class in the database called APPE and I want to move the documents associated to this document class to an FTP server.I have created two repositories in the EDM Basic>Repositories windows. One line to indicate that APPE_R1 has the doc class that I want to move and another repository line APPE_R2 to accommodate the transfer of documents to the FTP repository.Then I have used the Change Document Repository Wizard and the first step makes sense as shown in screenshot below however then I am presented with a second page where it seems to be I have to allocate a document class again? I am confused about this screen, furthermore the Doc Class field does not offer a list of values.I hope somebody can give us a word of advise on this matter.Many thanksMiguel

Document Connection

Hi,I have connected an object to a document for Engineering Part Structure in the Objects tab on a document revision. But I cannot see the document on the Engineering Part structure itself. Is there another step that needs to be taken in order for this to appear on the Engineering Part Structure?Also, where is the set up to add items to the connect object list that appears on the document revision itself?
