I am new to Crystal Reports.Could I call APIs functions to create Crystal Reports or build my own custom API and call it in a Crystal report? or  do I need to build only IAL? Another quick question. Our system has many IALs built by our old developer. How could I see the SQL written to build the IAL?  When I access the IAL Object Developer I cannot populate the code. See screenshot 1 for more details.Screenshot1.- However, I can see in IAL Configuration that we have 89 IALs. How could I see the code for each one of the IALs? See Screenshot 2 Screenshot 2 

Our company is utilizing IFS9.Our company utilizes external software to help to combine several documents into one PDF format. The software name is (KOFAX).After we have combined documents into one file with the PDF format, the user attaches the PDF file to the (IFS) Document Revision.However, after we try to open the file in IFS, some fields have disappeared from the document.Before the file is loaded into IFS it looks normal and includes all of the data. The problem happens after the file is loaded into IFS.Any idea what is happening? 

We have noticed a problem with the night shifts in production, which leads to costing differences because not all production order times are reported or are subsequently cancelled again.The problem starts when the employee clocks in again on 31.05.2021 in the evening for the next night shift and works on the production order over the day change.The FA messages booked for the previous night shift for 31.05.2021 are cancelled again because there are no corresponding attendance punches. These attendance punches do exist, but were booked on 30.05.2021.Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hi,I’m trying to create a warning message for the Business Opportunity screen.As, the company auto-fills depending upon a user’s default company. I would like to show an error message if a certain company isn’t selected. Is there a way of doing this in Apps9? 

I cannot find the option ‘User’ under Solution Manager/Security. There are only two options listed:  User Groups, and Users. There is NO menu for User. I’ve also found  that I cannot go to the User Details when choosing a user as in IEE.So where can I create a user and where could I check the details of a user account.I’ve tried as appowner.Do I miss something? or our application has missed anything?  ThanksWen

Hi Everyone,Apologies if this question has been answered - not too sure of the search term to look for within the forum.We are looking to amend the automated functionality within IFS to print an additional document template in IFS9 from the customer order - driven by the status of the order. I believe this is controlled from the following check boxes on the document information tab. (please see screenshot below)We would like to print multiple copies of the customer invoice and we also have another output document template within the same invoice report definition.Order History shown below - invoice and delivery note are created automatically. Is it possible to add another document to the automated output?  Please let me know if I need to provide any additional information.Many Thanks,Dan

Hello everyone.  I have been slowly getting Lobbys created for the maintenance guy.  I am trying to put the Company Logo on the back ground of the Lobby.  Having mixed results. When i copy the URL in the box and lock the lobby back it produces the picture  but it is multiplied and shows the picture in different layouts.  I have tried modifying the URL, Saving  the Logo in different formats yet it continues to do the same thing or nothing at all.  Here is a example of what i am seeing   And here is the URL i am using.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I asked this question on the main group  and i got a answer but don’t understand where they are wanting me to look.

I create a customer order and I connect with a shipment at order release but when i deliver just two shipment order lines of four i can’t. I already reserved the shipment lines or maybe there is something that I forget. If somebody can help me with any idea, I will appreciate it. 

Sometimes, we use available engineers from other areas to help out with a backlog of work in other countries but we need the visiting SA to use the local warehouse inventory, not their own.  I can set the visiting SA to have access to the local warehouse but I cannot set that as the warehouse to use for materials, it always reverts back to their own default warehouse.  If we simply move the stock to the SA’s default warehouse, that would work BUT then we have the costs coming from the wrong place.  We really need the visiting SA to be able to use the local stock directly.Does anyone know how to set this to use the local warehouse or have a process to handle this situation?

Hi Team, How to segregate the revenue generated from different services in GL Analysis when using same account for all of them. Ex: I am using same Revenue Account 160000 for capturing the revenue generated from different Services. Types of Services are Repairs, Field Service & AMC.Account 160000- Revenue from Repairs                160000- Revenue from Field Service                160000- Revenue from AMC Now in GL level, I want to determine how much revenue has been generated per Service i.e. Segregation of Revenue per Service. Request you to please help me on this. Thanks,Rakesh

Hi all,under certain circumstances we want to update the tax code in customer order line. The trigger-event is the release (saving) of the order line (we use CustomerOrderLineHist to not receive any mutating error).The code is as follows (I would say the code as such is fine : )) which I used in a similar way as well for several other updates of the order line:For any reason the API CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_API.MODIFY_ does NOT update the tax code.Any ideas why this might be a problem. Hi All,For a particular scenario, we want to COUNT-IN a part with a new Unit Cost. This part has been in the inventory before, so the previous Unit Cost is derived. Yes. we have given the option of ‘Define cost’ in the line level, but this can be enabled only when the inventory valuation is  FIFO, LIFO or Weighted Average.Our part has, Standard Cost > Cost per serial in Cost control.On what reasons this functionality is not enabled for Standard Cost?Thanks. 

Hi,A directory is already defined in ALL_DIRECTORIS. But this is not visible in migration job → file path field.Does Any one have an idea about how to add that directory into File Path LOV./Malan Jayanka

How is access to all posting proposals handled in IFS? As, I can currently only view PR’s or PO’s that I have created instead of all.I’ve checked basic data but cannot find anything related to access.

We are using IFS Apps 10 + Update 11. We had a connection problem a few days ago and nobody was able to access Aurena (web interface) and Entreprise Explorer anymore. Usually restarting the services correct this kind of problem but it was not enough this time. We restarted the server as well but it took a long time and Windows completed some updates during that reboot. Once completed, the reboot lead to no result as well.The error message returned when trying to access Aurena is: Error 404--Not FoundThe error message returned when trying to start EE is:    Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.    * Activation of https://ispd-agni1.irisco.local:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception.
