Hello all, I have a need to delete several hundred Shop Order Requisitions in IFS Apps 10. All of them have Shop Orders that have already been created and closed. It appears that I do have the capability to delete the requisitions, however, I am concerned that there may be some issue with simply deleting them. I need to keep the Shop Orders themselves for history reference. Are there any potential issues with simply deleting a shop order requisition that has been converted to a Shop Order, which has been completed and closed?Thank you!

Hello,Could someone please help with the situation bellow?I have set up a schedule to transfer the work assignments to mobile with transfer_window = 1.I understand that the system will transfer just the the of the allocated start.But the system has transfered all the assignments of different day.E.g. Allocated start to 08/21/2021, 08/01/2021 etc. Or the transfer_window means that the system will transfer all previous assignments till the sysdate as I chose “1” in the parameter field?Tks a lot   

 This alert is displayed when going to "Conditional Field" from the RMB option. I want to make "Internal Destination ID” to field mandatory.Please suggest to me how to avoid this alert. Thanks in AdvanceSaiful 

We are seeing an issue in Apps9 UPD17 when exporting and importing a large permission set to create a cloned permission set.  It is a large but simple permission set with no hierarchy/structure.It exports fine and generates a file that is very large (14MB).  However when it is imported it results in a new permission set with some things only partially granted or not granted at all that should be fully granted. The following message occurs when the import completes, always on the same ‘SYS.ALL_TABLES’:As a verification test, if I immediately export the new clone permission after import, the XML file that is created then is about 1.5MB smaller than the one that was imported to create it.Something is not importing cleanly, possibly based on the file size, possibly based on the error shown, maybe due to some kind of timeout?  The import process takes about 6-7 minutes.Has anyone else encountered this?

I need help with function detail on Check Amount field. I need to remove the decimal point but keep the numbers (ie.. 4005.63 convert to  400563) ? Bank file import assumes first 2 numbers from the right are cents and they don’t need the decimal point.Any suggestions?  

Hi,We have two roles in the invoice posting authorizers - Authorizer & Acknowledger. I am clear on what authorizer role does but am not clear on the function of the Acknowledger role.I changed my role to acknowledger, created a manual supplier invoice, & then on the “authorize” tab of the invoice I “Acknowledge” the posting proposal (as opposed to authorizing) and received the below message. My observation that I can’t acknowledge without an authorizer makes it seems like the acknowledger role may be redundant. Could you please assist in clarifying? Best Regards,  

We are seeing more and more customers now, asking for us to separate their agreements into more than one contract.  For example they want all the Preventative Maintenance work on one contract and all calibrations on another.  Often this is because they way to invoice them separately, sometimes because the PM work is handled by a separate service company but they pay for calibrations directly (so two different customers).We get a problem when we try to set up the same Installed Item onto different contracts, if we want to have visits because if you manage to get a PM Date on an Installed Item on one contract, it removes the dates from the other, probably because the visit date information is held on the Installed Item Service Info module, so only one place to have just one date.We tried various things to fool the system, such as starting travel on the first job before “stealing” the dates for the next contract but ultimately the system wants to cancel any service orders already created,

Hello IFS Community,In my previous workplace, the IFS administrator used to set up a message warning about when IFS servers will be down and why. See the Screenshot for details (See the red arrow).  The message used to display something like “IFS will be down from 2 am - 4 am” on the area with red on my Screenshot, and the message even moves. Any idea how to create that message?   

Hi, To import a CSV from FTPS , we would like to use IFS Connect.And from my understanding, the flow will be:IFS Connect – FTP Reader FTPS IFS Connect – Routing Rules , Routing Address In Routing Address – we need develop an transform (in Java or xlst) , convert CSV to IFS XML Then, to read that IFS XML and insert into DB,  we need develop a BizAPIIs the understanding correct?  And how people do this in Real Project? Also, with IFS Cloud,since we are discarding BizAPI,  then how we implement the actual logic to insert data to DB.

For a manufactured part,if we set the Reserve/Backflush option to Manual in the Product structure and run a shop order flow,it would allow a user to issue material less than the shop order lot size but would also allow to receive the full quantitiy after operations are reported.any specific reason for this?

Hey community, Wondering if anyone has ever written or used a procedure to auto save a file to SharePoint. Team and myself have successfully written a few procedures that run data extracts from IFS DB that save a file to a chosen path on different drives + using scheduled database tasks to execute them at specific times/dates, but not cloud. Would love to hear what route you’ve taken if you’ve completed something like this before? I’m on Apps9, 12c Oracle DB. Thanks,Kasia 

Hi, User did unpeg DOP connection from Shop Order accidentally. We would want to return the DOP connection for the shop order but could not find a way to do that in IFS client.Could you instruct how to do this? Regards,Peshala.

in our system we are not using posting type IP28.today user created 2 manual supplier invoices; system accepted the first invoice without any problem and raised this error in the second invoice.the second invoice contains some accounts more than the first invoice.the additional accounts are:11406001    Advances to Staff - Personal11501016    Attieh Medico Current Account21301004    GRN Payable (Foreign)21501005    Accruals - Staff Airfare Tickets51101014    Air Tickets51104004    Air Tickets (Recruitment)51114001    Air Tickets Expense (Business)I reviewed the credit and debit balances in the invoice and it is matching with net and gross amounts.  

In this scenario, though there are on hand stock above the Order point and lead time is met, still Purchase requisitions are created in the system. There are reserved shop orders. Can anyone please explain the reason for creating the PR from Order proposal in this scenario. Any relation with Inventory part Planning?

Hi,I’m wanting to configure the date format to match NZ standard DD/MM/YYYY and have selected under the vendor centre and vendor contact regional settings = NZ but it still doesn’t seem to be following to activity settings. Any idea where this can be configured from? will it need to be at the server end perhaps? 

We are running into an issue when we try and removed a Selected part on the MRB Inspection line (in Aurena). We cannot find any option to remove it. In the IEE client you simply remove that line from the lower part of the window. Are we just not looking in the right place? 

I connect the customer order to a shipment. when I go to the shipment window I would like to see the status of each line like I see in the customer order ( reserved, release, etc.)  the thing is the I don’t want to return to the customer order to see which lines are on reserved, release or picked because I will waste time. How can i see the status of each line on shipment?
