Hello,can someone tell me how exactly the values and the time series within the ADU calculation for "Calculated ADU" and "ADU Alert Quantity" behave?I can't find any detailed further information about this in the help.Background is the go-live at a customer with "manual ADU" taken over in the migration from past values. After 7 weeks I would now like to change the ADU for certain articles from "manual" to "Calculated ADU", but I do not get any values for the yellow and red buffers with the setting to "Calculated ADU" and "ADU Alert Quantity".Thanks for the info

I’m facing a permission issue in Lobby Data Source. (Apps 10 UPD 8)When I logged in to the application using IFSAPP, in the Lobby Data Source Designer I can see Data Sources belonging to SQL, Information Sources and Query Builder categories. Further when I try to create a new Data Source using IFSAPP, I get the below popup which has all three options including Info Source. But when I logged into the application using another user (eg. user X) who has almost all the permissions as of IFSAPP (with all System Privileges), I can’t see the Data Sources under the category Information Sources. Also when I try to create a new Data Source using the user X, I can’t see the option to select Info Source. Am I missing any permissions that need in order to see the Information Sources ? Thank You !- Binura -

Hi, Is there a way to make a field in mobile work order mandatory?For example make “Work Type” as mandatory for user entering New Work. It may be of course controlled by an event but when the event fires and the whole work in mWO will be done offline, the work order won’t  be created in application as the event will stop the process of creating task. Best regards,Hubert

We have used Attachment MapPosition in IFS IEE but in Aurena this attachment doesn’t exist. Is it correct that it doesn’t exist? Is there another solution available in Aurena? BR,Patric

We are in Apps 10 and want to implement Voucher approval workflow for Voucher Type M and Voucher Type Q, instead of these Vouchers automatically going to Approved status.  We normally use External File upload to upload Q vouchers.First question: I see Ext Voucher Type Q specified as the default. If I wish to use External Voucher Assistant to upload a file of ‘M’ type Vouchers, where do I specify to use Load Type 2 (to load Ms) instead of the default?   Uploading Q (default) Voucher Types does NOT result in ‘Voucher Postings’ (tab)  - only ‘Voucher Rows’. ‘Voucher Row’ data is grayed out/not editable, but Voucher Postings can be edited (in the case that the approver requires a change to the Voucher amount, etc.)  Why does Voucher TYpe Q not result in Voucher Postings? Can we/how can we change that? Thanks for any advice anyone has.   

Hi, I am new to an existing IFS 8 system and am trying to find out why some columns in a Base Table are not getting populated with the correct values. I need to find out how these columns are being populated.The columns in the Base Table are being populated as a result of Printing a Supplier Schedule.I presume that there is some kind of event being triggered, but I don’t know how to find it!I have found a logical unit which seems to be involved but it only has details of how a view is populated from the Base Table concerned.The logical unit has these details included:-Base TableBase ViewBase Package.The Base Package just has various Functions and Procedures for discrete values whereas I’m looking for a “CREATE OR REPLACE ‘Base Table’ AS …..” statement with the appropriate SELECT statement to follow which will show how the Base Table is being populated. Thanks for any help. Cheers,Neil.

Hi, I am new to both IFS and Crystal Reports.I have a screen in IFS (set up by somebody else) which displays all the required data but when I try printing the screen, one of the fields is missing in the Crystal Report that is generated.Can anyone tell me how the Crystal Report is invoked by the print button when right-clicking in the IFS screen, please?Or point me to the relevant tutorials. Cheers,Neil.

By default, IFS is providing an Oracle Profile which is used for every user.This profile had been the spot for Configuration of password expiration and more. The functionality seems to be there, even if no Oracle Users are created. The System Parameter still indicates, that some Oracle Profiles must exist. Is this still used?If yes or no, how can we adjust the password expiration time?Kind regards,Tobias​​​​​​​

Hi folks,  I have a customer who updated from App 10 UPD 09 to UPD 11. In update 11 IFS introduced new control type C14. Customer used C13 to segrate their internal and external COGS in posting control M24. But in new update C13 use stat group of ordering customer -  Client has scenarios where they change the invoicing customer on customer order to internal customers. Therefore, client cannot use C13 control type anymore, revenue will capture internal AR/Revenue accounts, but COGS will go to external account.  Problem - If there is no invoicing customer on Customer order, Control type C14 does not capture the correct stat group. As a result, it will error in distribution and manufacturing side.  Any workaround or bug fix?  Thanks,Sadeepa

Can anyone please give me some insight on how the PM Request Generation works internally? We have a PM plan loaded, that has been running quite happily for 6 months.  We release  tasks gradually, 4 weeks at a time.  We last released them up until August 15th, but now, trying to release up to Septemeber 12th yields no Requests/tasks.  Yes, there are tasks ready to be released for this time period, and all the tasks were originaly loaded at the same time and are attached to the same PM_Sequence. What would cause them to suddenly not release? I have turned the logging levels up, but nothing really showing in there, no exceptions are recieved.  I can see a query being run on ‘contr_autogen_view’ that retrieves nothing.  There is also a query in the Log looking for errors (SELECT MESSAGE_ID, LOCALE_CODE, MESSAGE_TYPE, MESSAGE_TEXT from METRIX_MESSAGE_DEF_VIEW where MESSAGE_ID = 'InvalidXMLRequest' and MESSAGE_TYPE = 'ERROR' and LOCALE_CODE = 'EN-GB') but this does not return anything when i

Hi experts,BackgroundI am trying to make an authenticated call to an external resource from FSM. The authentication used is OAuth2 and the the data consumed and returned is in json. I initially attempted this using a routing rule with OAuth2ExtractHandler and JsonOutboundConnector, which is not working as the token extraction fails (I raised this here) . Now I’m trying a different approach.I make a dummy map to create a call to the authentication endpoint to retrieve the token. Dear IFS experts,I created a copy of an existing report in our IFS server, please see screenshot below. The original report is called “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” and the copied report was renamed “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”. I made simple modifications to the copied report  “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”.Then I setup the report in the Report Definitions window Then when I tried to print/preview with this new layout I get the well know error (please see screenshot below)  However if I used the same options (Language/date format) and change the layout to the original layout “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” I CAN print/preview without any troubles. Obviously this is not related to our setup of CWS because the issue is layout specific. However I have created a copy of an existing layout that works and I have only modified some text in the layout. I am really confused about this.
