Custom Event - Max number of Email IDs

HelloOur company has the practice of creating a group email to use in the Custom Event type email to send email to multiple users at once.I tried and successfully send email to two users separated by comma.Question is 1- how many email id’s can we use separated by commas in this case. Cancel Advanced Invoices

We have a situation where a customer was cash in advance but they are now being granted terms. We entered in a couple of orders and created and posted Advanced Invoices, we cannot release the orders now due to the advanced invoices. Is there a way to cancel advanced invoices?

Access to view all in History Log

We’re on APPS10 UP6. I’ve configured the IFS History Log to show changes to a specific field on the inventory Part. The logging works and as an administrator I can see all changes, but when a user on the Inventory Part does View - Record History they can only see the changes they made not the field changes that another user made. To me that defeats the purpose of the Record History - to see who changed a field and to what value. If I set system Privilege = Administrator in their Role, then they can see changes from all users. But we don’t want to give Administrator Access to any users. Is this by design or is there a setting in the Roles that allow this action without setting as Administrator? I’ve tried to give access through the role but can’t get it to work.

FSM Mobile - Service History not Up to date

this is running FSM 5.7it seems that the service history for request and tasks is delayed in getting to the mobile platformi already checked the sync rules and it happens as a BATCH ALL at 9 PM every night. Nothing has been touched from the OOTB integration. For example i am looking at a request that was closed 10 days ago yet still doesn't show on the mobile platform.However when i initialize the history is immediately there.How can i fix this so that it shows up at least on the daily sync?

raise_application_error() in background job

Hi,I’m trying to raise an error to a Background Job.I have a procedure that is called by a background job.I’ll fetch an object, and sometime it doesn’t exist. Normally because the object is deleted by the user before the job has been run. CURSOR get_Objid IS select objid from project_transaction WHERE objkey = 'BB8A4E9B030B41DDABB62F8381C9DFFD'; OPEN get_Objid; FETCH get_Objid INTO objid_; CLOSE get_Objid; I would then like to handle the exception and have a custom error message send back to the background job. So I use this one: IF (objid_ is null) THEN raise_application_error(-20001,'No value in objid!'); END IF;It works find when running the script in a terminal, but if I run it with a background job I don’t get the error.How can this be done?BR Kresten

Alternate routing for external control after each 50 units produced

In our production process we would like to have a different routing after each 50 units which are produced. This alternate routing should send the produced items to an external control center (outside operations) is there a way to implement the requested process in standard IFS. The lot size will not be higher than 10 pcs at the time. So, the alternate routing should be triggered based on the cumulative units produced.

Excluding zero quantity lines from count reports

Cannot Update or Delete records on tables made from Custom LUs thought API calls using the Modify__ or Remove__ methods.

When trying to update a record using the API for any Custom LU (_CLT table in IFS), we get this error. ERROR: MODIFIED2: The ‘LU Name’ object has been modified by another user. Please refresh the object and reenter your changes. The error is saying that a record can't be updated because it is already being updated, which is not the case. This happens regardless of which table the triggering action is coming from. The update method that is called using the API is 'PackageName'_CLP.Modify__( ). This modify method is auto generated when the Custom LU is made. We have verified that the New__ API call for inserting a record does work correctly for Custom LU tables, but the Modify__ or Remove__ API calls do not.To be clear, we are able to call the API methods to Update, Insert, and Delete records from IFS standard tables, (tables ending in _TAB), as well as custom field tables, (tables ending in _CFT) but we are having this issue with the tables made from Custom Logical Units, (tables ending

I have customers whose IFS Applications installations are on MS Azure VM, not IFS managed cloud.Now I should propose "backup strategy" to these customers. In FSM Mobile how to configure the mobile db to shared NAS Drive?In FSM, Mobile_Database_Directory is set to the server default path like ‘C/inetpub/wwwroot/xxxx/mobiledb’ . Is it possible to set the Mobile_Database_Directory to the NAS drive mapped to the server. So the user db will be created in the Nas drive.?

Adding 2 Columns that exist in other views to a third view

We use APPS 10 and IEE. I am a new IEE admin. I have a user that is requesting to have a couple of additional columns added to a view. In this case it is the Fixed Asset “Object Balances Analysis” view. The Columns exist in 2 other views: “Depreciation Method” and the Fixed Assets > Object “Estimated Life” column. The IEE Admin training did not cover this. I am looking for any good information on adding data (columns) that already exist to other views.Thank you kindly for any info you can provide.

How to make an authorized request to a projection endpoint

Hi guys,I’ve created a custom projection to which I’m attempting an authorized request via postman. I received the token using the ROPC method stated hereHow I got the tokenHow I’m trying to use the token (request is made to the int cluster), AS you can see, I’m getting a a 401 Unauthorized response. I use I tried using both Bearer and OAuth2 in postman and still ended up getting this. When I use basic auth and enter ifs credentials, I can access the projection data (I see the JSESSIONID cookie is returned when using basic auth, and this is what makes the difference).Am I doing something wrong here? or is OAuth2 not possible with projections?Cheers,Miraj
