By default, IFS is providing an Oracle Profile which is used for every user.This profile had been the spot for Configuration of password expiration and more. The functionality seems to be there, even if no Oracle Users are created. The System Parameter still indicates, that some Oracle Profiles must exist. Is this still used?If yes or no, how can we adjust the password expiration time?Kind regards,Tobias​​​​​​​

Hi folks,  I have a customer who updated from App 10 UPD 09 to UPD 11. In update 11 IFS introduced new control type C14. Customer used C13 to segrate their internal and external COGS in posting control M24. But in new update C13 use stat group of ordering customer -  Client has scenarios where they change the invoicing customer on customer order to internal customers. Therefore, client cannot use C13 control type anymore, revenue will capture internal AR/Revenue accounts, but COGS will go to external account.  Problem - If there is no invoicing customer on Customer order, Control type C14 does not capture the correct stat group. As a result, it will error in distribution and manufacturing side.  Any workaround or bug fix?  Thanks,Sadeepa

Can anyone please give me some insight on how the PM Request Generation works internally? We have a PM plan loaded, that has been running quite happily for 6 months.  We release  tasks gradually, 4 weeks at a time.  We last released them up until August 15th, but now, trying to release up to Septemeber 12th yields no Requests/tasks.  Yes, there are tasks ready to be released for this time period, and all the tasks were originaly loaded at the same time and are attached to the same PM_Sequence. What would cause them to suddenly not release? I have turned the logging levels up, but nothing really showing in there, no exceptions are recieved.  I can see a query being run on ‘contr_autogen_view’ that retrieves nothing.  There is also a query in the Log looking for errors (SELECT MESSAGE_ID, LOCALE_CODE, MESSAGE_TYPE, MESSAGE_TEXT from METRIX_MESSAGE_DEF_VIEW where MESSAGE_ID = 'InvalidXMLRequest' and MESSAGE_TYPE = 'ERROR' and LOCALE_CODE = 'EN-GB') but this does not return anything when i

Hi experts,BackgroundI am trying to make an authenticated call to an external resource from FSM. The authentication used is OAuth2 and the the data consumed and returned is in json. I initially attempted this using a routing rule with OAuth2ExtractHandler and JsonOutboundConnector, which is not working as the token extraction fails (I raised this here) . Now I’m trying a different approach.I make a dummy map to create a call to the authentication endpoint to retrieve the token. Dear IFS experts,I created a copy of an existing report in our IFS server, please see screenshot below. The original report is called “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” and the copied report was renamed “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”. I made simple modifications to the copied report  “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”.Then I setup the report in the Report Definitions window Then when I tried to print/preview with this new layout I get the well know error (please see screenshot below)  However if I used the same options (Language/date format) and change the layout to the original layout “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” I CAN print/preview without any troubles. Obviously this is not related to our setup of CWS because the issue is layout specific. However I have created a copy of an existing layout that works and I have only modified some text in the layout. I am really confused about this. Consider the following two scenarios,The server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in ET:Last run and next run are at 5:30 AM  Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 4:30 AM - 1 hour differenceSmart Client in ETThe server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in CT:Last run and next run are at 4:30 AM  Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 3:30 AM - 1 hour difference My question is, why is this showing a 1 hour time difference ? Since “Last Run” and “Next Run” is showed in Client time zone, shouldn’t the “Start time” in the Integration Scheduling wizard show the same time ? Is this a bug or is there an explanation to this ? P.S. I referred the post Monitor schedules / Integration schedules time fields | IFS Community but this doesn’t explain this time difference. Thanks in Advance !!!!

Dear community,Can someone explain how can I peg a purchase requisition/order and shop order?My main problem is;When we don’t have enough raw material in our stock then  how can we create a purchase order pegged with this shop order.My aim is;When I reserve materials in shop order but one of them is not enough in quantity then I create a purchase requisition and purchase order. I want to see the purchase order and shop order is related. So In the future when I check shop orders I want to realize that if I have to create a purchase order or not. 

IFS Cloud Quick Reports is missing the query builder feature to choose from existing views.IFS 10 does have this one in the Enterprise Explorer. Is it hidden or forgotten? Kind regards,Tobias

We have customized the Alliance 15.3 Invoice Project Phase report, When the PDF document is produced during the invoice process as have picked up that the PDF document does not include the  report name. On investigation we found that the Alliance default report also exports without a report name. Can anyone assist with guidance on how we can add the name to the report using the report customizerand especially when the PDF document is produced.

Hello,I am wondering where I can find in-depth documentation on the .NET Access Provider (including the COM extensions).I am just starting to play around with this layer and am intrigued by it. We have been using ODBC (Oracle Instant Client) and Oracle MDAC access and they work fine, but I like the simplicity of the .NET Access Provider and built-in niceties such as error handling -- no need to install an ODBC client or MDAC components, just the Ifs.Fnd DLLs (which I embed in our C# application).I would also like to know how to do more with the COM extensions, as we still integrate with Visual Foxpro applications. Visual Foxpro can create COM objects, etc. and that might let us do more from there.I understand Access Providers are on the way out and that web-based programming and RESTful API calls are the way of the future.
