In IFS10.11 the option to archive data is available from the Solution Manager options. I can’t find it in the Aurena version.Has anybody an idea if that function is available in IFS Cloud (so IFS21R1 and higher)?

Hello All, I am curious if it is possible to script a cost value update from one site to another? Currently we have a production site and an estimating site. The estimating site has a copy of our component parts, which we use to create customer quotations. The issue we face is that part 12345 in the production site may change from $5 to $7, but the PN 12345 in the estimating site is not updated, unless the user manually updates the cost. Is it possible to create a scheduled task to routinely perform an update from the production to estimating to keep the costs identical? Thank you!

Hi Community,    Anyone assist us that how can make a LOV of existing field in Aurena upd13.   Thank in advance

We currently have 2 Astea profiles (for 2 different entities, in different countries). As the date for upgrade is coming closer, I have been asked if it is possible/adviceable to upgrade the profiles at different times - mainly due to traning. Background: we will install v15 on new servers. And connect to a new SQL instance. Both profiles are integrated to Microsoft Dynamics AX - through separate staging databases. Our initial plan was a “big bang” upgrade - but depending on advice we may reconsider.

When trying to attach a photo on mobile, we get the following error (Transaction failed). There does not seem to be anm error message on the server for this:

Hi All,This is in Apps08 and the user has updated company logo in the header and has added a new image for footer as well. Application Search and permissions in IEE APP10 UPD 11 We are exploring the use of application search and came across below access issue. This user account doesn’t have access E.g. RFQ but still RFQ header and line details are shown in application search results. There is an error when accessing the records but we do believe that the above information should not be available for the user. Is this a limitation in the Application search? Anyway to overcome this issue? We will probably not be able to implement application search functionality with this limitation.

Hi,  hope somebody will be able to advice. We have added a substitute to purchase Requisition line authorization. Using IFS Apps9 UPD17. When you right mouse click on the requisition number and choose to view potential authorizers / acknowledgers it shows you a list as per below, however the one for substitute is showing the personal number which is only listed under Employee » Personal » Contact Persons.   Also I can confirm that not everyone can see it. I would assume that only the relevant substitute can see this (I can’t see it under my login as don’t have HR access).  Would anyone know why this is happening and how could I fix this?  Thank you Kate

Hi everyone, Is it possible to control visibility of the tooltips in PSO based on activity types? Thanks in advance, Joana Machado

We have a requirement to make ‘Object Physical Location’ mandatory.1- When User will save ‘General’ tab without ‘Object Physical Location’ in ‘Inventory’ tab, there will be error on ‘General’ tab that could be confusing, as user cannot see the field in error on the screen he/she is on.So we moved following group onto ‘General Tab’. Now Question is ,is there a way we can move the borders with heading ’Location Details’ to ‘General’ tab?Or, can we somehow get rid of the blank ‘Location Details’ grid from ‘Inventory tab. it just does not looks right. Thanks for your input!

Hello,I made a mistake when reporting the picking of a shipment and clicked report before I corrected my mistake. Now I don’t know how to release that part.Report picking: done Shipment status is still preliminary Serial number: 663. I have an issue with that part and I cannot ship it.  I found that it is possible to reassign shipment connected quantity. Unfortunately, it says that the reserved and picked quantity will not be released. How else can I do?Do you know how to proceed to cancel the picking/reservation of that part? Thanks in advance for the support.
