I’m trying to set up an event action to call a REST end point that is secured with an API key.  The event action works correctly when I have the Authentication method set to none, but when I secure my end point and change the Authentication method to Bearer the application message fails.  I’ve tried entering an API key of ”abc123”, when I do that the application fails with this message:Failure while obtaining result: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 2 Caused by: commonj.work.WorkException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 2 Caused by: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 2 When I try with an API key of “Bearer abc123” it fails with this message:Failure while obtaining result: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -6 Caused by: commonj.work.WorkException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -6 Caused by: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -6 So I think there is som

As I noted following is true with IFS Cloud.File Connector – File connector runs inside of the connect container hence it is not possible for the user to place the files inside the folder in the container. IN and OUT folder shared location and path should be provided in the settings along with a username and a password for accessing this location. This is necessary as you are accessing a shared location. File connector will work only with the on-premise customers. This won’t work with the cloud customers.  Based on above;Should shared folders IN and OUT must be on the Linux server ? If the folders can be also somewhere on an Windows Server, what must be done to access them from IFS Connect ?There is a customer with a on premise installation who puts a windows path, with user and password, but File Reader cannot access it.Thanks & Best Regards,Yasas

Hi Guys,Im working on a integration where I try to fetch data from a projection end-point and show the dataset in a third party client. Here’s a screencap of a Postman request where it fetches the dataset from  InventoryPartInStockHandling.svc/InventoryPartInStockSet entityset The dataset contains the Enumeration “LocationType” which is Translatable.Problem is that I CAN NOT fetch translated value for the “LocationType” if i want to use a language other than English. I tried setting the Accept-Language header and specifying the language (ex: sv-SE for Swedish) but it still returns the same dataset as before (see the screencap).Since im only using the projection layer i cant rely on Aurena Client metadata service for translations. Is there anyway that I can fetch Translated values for a dataset returned from a projection ?

With a recent update to Apps 10 came the ability to execute a service order invoice approval online (rather than a batch job background process).  I see the RMB for this in the invoice approval screen but it’s always greyed out.  Does anyone know how to enable the online processing for service invoice approvals?

Hi Community, I have found below installation error below when deploying UPD12.!!!Error occurred while executing Plsql BlockBEGIN Object_Connection_SYS.Refresh_Active_List__(5);END;ORA-20105: Assert.IS_LOGICAL_UNIT: "CounselingPlan" is non existing logical unit. But I can't find a logical unit called "CounselingPlan".So do I need to follow any manual steps to fix this? Thanks,Kalana

Hi Guys, I am using IFS 7.5.I get this posting error after Cancel Receipt for Purchase Non Inventory.Now system is expecting Object ID to process posting type M92 (Purchase Non Inventory Material Arrival). How can I insert the Object ID for this transaction? Note that the PO is now in Received status and I already filled in the Object ID but this doesn’t solve the posting error. Even I changed the Object = Can in the Code Part Demands also doesn’t help.Need guidance on how to insert Object ID for the Cancel Receipt transaction or any work around to resolve this posting error. Thank you.Best Regards,KS Eng

Hello Experts,I have setup the HTM parameters properly and HTM dB setup when installing as well. it is licensed properly.  I get these errors for ABE and DSE services. a HTM re-installation is in place just to rule out any installation issues.Is there anything else that I should look in to? Many thanks in advance,Vinu.

Hello Experts, We have HTM (V3) license for NA,US,CA. How do you define  the value for ‘HierarchicalDatabaseMatrixId’ ? even though from V3 onwards USA and Canada HTM is bundled together can we use multiple values for this parameter ID?In HTM DB the matrix ID is shown as NA only, but when i use that i gives me an event error message as shown below: Many thanks,Vinu

Recently I found a nice thing, the possibility of using the API (for example: approval_routing_api.check_exist) when I do procedures / functions in PL SQL (SqlDeveloper).For now, I am extracting information about the API options that I can use with the debugger and the tests in the test environment in the application.Would you be so good at telling you where I can look for leads, or a list of API options with a description?Thank you very much for help :)

Hi,I got a "Parameter error" when I did "Install Delivery" with IFS Installer (APPS10).Do you know the reason of this error?Error message : "The system cannot find the path specified".I tried to restart IFS MWS then to "Install Delivery" again, I didn't get this error.Any information will be appreciated.(Is this an error about the certification path?) Kazu

I have recently made changes to the filepath used in the OUT_DIRECTORY field of a number of Connector Senders in “Setup IFS Connect”.These are file senders that push xml files of our Incoming Customer Orders, Invoices and Despatch Advices to a archive folder on our application server.These changes were made on 24/09/2021 successfully and immediately started working. On the eve of the 25/09/2021 a colleague applied an IFS release and in the process performed a reconfig.We have since noticed that all changes made to the filepath used in the OUT_DIRECTORY have reverted to the previous value.Through interrogation of our log files I can clearly attribute the reversal of these changes to the reconfig but am at a loss as to where the value of the OUT_DIRECTORY has been picked up from. I have attached screenshots of the value before and after the reconfig as an example. I have so far been looking for a batch of config files specifically relating to each Connector Sender to no avail so am wonde

Hi,In out TEST environment check #4 which was in printed status and was then reprinted. As a result, Check #4 was set to status “Spoiled” Check #5 was created with 0 value and set to status of “Voided” Check #6 was reprinted and set to status “printed”.  I have been told that:The reason that it created 2 checks when reprinted because of the way the payment document is set up. The supplier check remittance code is set up as void, and no of remittance items is 2. If it is set to void, and the number of invoices on the check you reprinted is more than the no of remittance items, it will use one check (that it voids) for the first batch, then finish up the invoices on the second check with the full amount of all the invoices. My Question:Why does this feature exist?I want to be able to put an infinite number of invoices on one check without going through multiple check numbers. Am I misunderstanding something here? Best Regards, 

When Authorization is required for PO, and the link to PO is sent via email to the Authorizer, is there a way to check and confirm whether the email has been sent  from our end?This will be useful in a situation where the authorizer claims he didnt receive an email, in which case we will have to check if the email has been sent or not!

We are currently reading and writing to IFS from Microsoft Azure using the IFS dll and .net framework 4.6.1. We could like to jump up to core 3.1 framework but we have been having issues with the IFS dlls. Is a core 3 compatible dll on the horizon? We are currently using; Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.dll 9.0.312.0 Ifs.Fnd.Core.dll 9.0.31.0 Ifs.Fnd.Data.dll 9.0.31   Cheers.

Hi All,Is there is a way to not reflect the secondary position of an employee in the organization chart?My second question is to understand the impact of assigning a secondary position to an employee ? other than it will be visible in the org chart. Just to understand the context : we are actually having an issue with a custom function and to resolve it temporary I have to assign a non primary position to these employees. Much appreciate any help  

Hello,We are using Apps 10, UPD11. Does anyone know if there is a certain step in the process or place where the Supply Type can be changed? We are reviewing the Shop Order process to integrate into the Buyer role and looking for the correct handoffs in the process. We are finding that no Requisitions are created from components that need to be ordered and are investigating how to get these to create as part of the handoff. On a Shopo Order we want to be able to identify materials to be rerouted in and use Purch Order Trans as that seems to create requisitions for us.  Our only option right now looks to be use MRP on PM A items to be able to see the demand and have requisitions be created to bring parts in for that SO. Thank you,Joann

Hi IFS Folks, Good day. I am wondering what is the difference between manual pricing and costing pricing in ‘Update Customer Agreements from Base Prices screen’. When I am using costing pricing it runs background job to update prices but there are no updated done but when I use Manual Pricing it works as intended. Please can anyone explain me the difference. Many thanks.
