In App10 we can enter multiple sites within the same company under the same authorization rule for both POs as well as PRs. 

 

 

My question is, is there a capability in IFS to consolidate this feature across all sites (belonging to several companies) across an organization? The goal is reduced administration by limiting the number of authorization rules to create and maintain. 

If it dosen’t exist, what are the challenges to develop this feature in the future? Differences in Base Currency for several sites maybe? 

Today I learnt that only IFS 21R2 has this capability via ‘Multi-Company Purchase Authorizers’ 

Now the questions are,

  1. Is it possible to downport something like that into IFS App10 that we are using? 
  2. Has someone in App10 figured a way around that?
