Time is typically reported on project in Project Time Registration IFS10 EE window. But in some cases time will be registered on mobile devices in Aurena (Time registration window). A customer found out differences in user access to time reporting between EE and Aurena. Explanation- The TEAMACCESS property in Company Details is set to ‘TRUE’. When time is reported in EE Project Time Registration window, the list of available Employees depends on Project access configuration (this is expected behavior).In case when time is reported through Time registration window in Aurena, a list is different, looks like it depends on org structure settings in HR.Can this be aligned through basic data setup? Or is this a bug or intended system behavior?

Hi All,Whenever I wanted to reload configuration in Custom Page, I used to delete the existing Custom Page and create a new page with a different name under Custom Pages tab. Once I update an Attribute or add a new Attribute to existing custom LU, I’m facing this issue.I’m trying this after Synchronizing the changes and also use Reload Configuration RMB over custom page, on the header of the Custom LU and on Custom Pages tab.Could you please let me know the correct way to do this other than creating new custom page. I’m currently using APP09 and had faced the same issue in APP10 as well.

Hi, all!Could anyone share his/her experience for deploying webservice created from scratch to IFS Applications 10?I mean that we have created new web-service and now we would like to deploy it to IFS in order to call for it from outside the application to get appropriate data.How such service have to be deployed - using the ant-compile or through any other way?Where to put our generated files?Thanks in advance!

Hi Team, Several tests were done on the AURENA Time Registration view to query the employees list.Kindly remark the following point when querying data:To look for an employee based on the Internal Display Name, currently using the character % as wildcard.During tests, it was remarked that in the advanced query generated by IFS, the '%' is replaced by '~' and it seems that the '~' is more efficient.What is the IFS recommendation on filtering in AURENA: Shall we use % or  ~ as the wildcardThank you and Best regards,Kalhari.

Hi, guys. I want to custom some methods. I was expecting list of methods to custom to be suggested just like this (my colleague’s window) but I got this instead,  (my window) Can somebody help me with this? Is there any configuration concerning this feature?  

We are planning to convert to Cloud 21R1 from Apps10 in a few weeks.  I’ve been told that there are little to no changes to the database between Apps10 and Cloud 21R1.  Can someone who has converted to Cloud 21R1 confirm what (if any) database changes they had to address?

We are planning to convert to Cloud 21R1 in a few weeks.  We are trying to get some definitive direction on which Apps10 components will have to be rebuilt manually in Cloud 21R1 and which will convert automatically.   Our current Apps10 solution was primarily built in Aurena, however we had to use IEE tools to build a lot of our custom configurations.  We built custom configurations for use in Aurena using IEE tools, but we haven’t built any custom configurations for use in IEE.  We’ve been told that in general, custom configured components built for use in IEE will have to be manually rebuilt.  While custom configured components built for use in Aurena will not have to be rebuilt.Here is the list of component types that we’ve custom configured.  Can someone who has converted to Cloud 21R1 tell me which they needed to manually rebuild? Configured Using IEE for Use in AurenaEvents Custom LUs Custom Reference LUs Custom Fields on Standard LUs Custom Enumeration LUs Quick Reports Permiss

Hello, I've created a custom field called "A Date" for the sales order line. I need to make this custom field mandatory for sales staff. So I can't use "Conditional Fields.." and "Base Profile".When I add a custom event, I can't check for null or not. Because the field is already passing null. Do you have any solution suggestions?

HelloI am new to IFS and the Business Reporter Application. I have not been able to import data from our Oracle Database (SQL), using the usual ‘Get Data’ option that is available in Business Reporter.  The connection timed out while attempting to consume the pre-login handshake acknowledgement. The server I am trying to connect to , works fine and is available when other people try to access it, so the issue is only between Business Reporter and the database.I have checked the following and can confirm that everything is correctly set up and works correctly:Username and PasswordServer details and portal numberMy access permissions Has anyone encountered this before and is there an easy way to resolve this issue?

Hi, We are facing an issue in purchasing that are not able to add additional charges per shipment as most of purchase orders arrive in serveral shipements (partial deliveries). Currently the charges added to a purchase order will be taken proportionally to the received shipment. Only the charges of the shipment is known when the shipment arrive like custom, insurance, freight , others. So at the time of shipment receiving unit cost is incorrect as the charges are added partially to received parts.Kindly is there any way or workaround solution to add charges to received shipment.Thank you.Bilal DrayiMedical & Pharmaceuticals Services Company

Hi, Does someone know why the MS Level 1 calculation is automatically run, when the MRP is run, and MRP process is completed.I have checked in 3 App10 environments and I got the same results. Please see below in the progress text details in the background job. And, I have checked this by running MRP for a site in App9 environment, and it stops after finishing the MRP job. Nothing related to MS Level 1 calculation. Is this a difference introduced in App10 version, or is there some setting to control the behavior ? Thanks

Is it possible to limit/change access for users for the pop-up window fields? Example for Approve Operation pop-up window in Shop Floor Workbench in Manufacturing.Can we set “Machine Time”, “Labor Time” and “Qty to Receive” tick box read only.  

Hello IFS Community, After I added an EU Role to a user in one of our environments, the user could access the Customer Page with no problem. I made the same steps to our next Environment, and the user is getting an issue trying to access the Customer Page. We applied 3 patches to our Apps 10 UPD 10 environments last weekend that should not have impacted creating Purchase Orders, but we are now receiving the error message ‘FIELD INTRASTAT EXEMPT IS MANDATORY AND REQUIRES A VALUE’  when we try to save a PO for several US Suppliers (so Intrastat Exempt should not even come in to play. )  Just to see if checking that checkbox would fix it, I tried but still received the error.  Tried with several other Suppliers/PO and about have received the message when trying to save the PO and half were allowed to save the PO successfully. I can not see any differences in the set up of the Suppliers  that worked and the suppliers for whom I received the error when saving a PO.  Anyone else seeing this? Is this a bug? Thanks
