Why can't we 'Issue' Material on Work Order

We have two scenario’s where we cannot ‘issue’ a material line on work order. The WO Task and the Material status are both released and if I create a new Material order for the same item, task and site, I can release and issue the newly created Material order. Hoping someone might have come across this already and can help. ThanksShelley

Reverse Tax on Instant Invoice

Hello, I need setup an Instant Invoice where I have to report both Tax Disbursed and Tax Received.There will not be any tax on the invoice (net amount) but we need to add that on two tax-accounts (disbursed and received) when we post the invoice. For example: Instant InvoicePrice: 1000Reverse Tax is demanded We would like the voucher to look like this:Account 2110: 1000Account: 2432: -250Account: 2433: 250 Thanks in advance.

Error: Inventory Transaction History FA Code Part Missing

When transferring an Inventory item to Company Rental Asset using the RMB on the Inventory Part in Stock screen, the system requires posting control M259 for Pre Posting to the FA Object ID. However, this was not in place when the initial transfer from Company Owned to Company Rental Asset occurred. How do we fix the transaction record to add the FA Object ID to the transaction line? It is stuck in Inventory Transaction History and we will not be able to close the books until we can resolve. I have a similar error when we pre posted with a FA object with the wrong status. A recommended solution would be appreciated.

Customer Analysis - Latest Notes column

Hello Everyone, would anyone have any thoughts to share on the below clarification. In app8 version, in the “Customer Analysis” window, users are able to use the copy paste function to add/update notes to the Latest Notes column. However in app 10 version notes to the each lineitems needs to be added as new record individually by going in to the Notes pop-up by RMB and has created few additional setup compared to previous version. However this is a functional enhancement as the current flow has a trail of timestamp and improved data validity as it was not available in the prior session. what is the users required the previous versions functionality and can that be done in the current version?

Package procedure field to Crystal Report Quick report

Hello,I am wondering what is the procedure for adding package procedures to Crystal Report Quick Reports in IFS? For example I would like to add Delivery_Route_API.Get_Description(ROUTE_ID).Is there any way to add this without joining the Delivery Route table or it’s just not supported? Thank you.

Apps9: Change orders updates open receipt prices - can we stop this?

We recently realised that when PO had change processed due to price increase and PO was updated to new price; receipts that were created prior to this change but not matched to an Invoice are updated to new price as well.Is there a setting anywhere so I can turn that off, we have issues where we order in bulk but the price changes and sometimes there is a lag between the goods arriving so we would need to receipt them at the old priice

SQL weeknumber issue: wrong weeknumber

Hi, I am trying to extract the weeknumber from a date. But both my SQL statements return the wrong weeknumber. Aurena Expense Sheet

When you use the Quick Expense Reporter in Aurena, we are unable to attach documents/media.When we try to attach an image we get the following error:We also get the same message when we try to attach PDF’s, ideally we want to be able to attach media as most people will be filling out expenses on there phone.Are we missing some set-up in document management?Thank you.Nikki

Paid Advance Invoice (SUPIA) setoff against final supplier invoice

It is allowed to match SUPIA for supplier invoice where in ‘Posted’ status. Normally IFS application allows to do payments or offset only for authorized supplier invoices. However it is different in this scenario.Any idea on restricting matching SUPIA for supplier invoice where in ‘Posted’ status. Steps followed is noted below for easier reference.Create Advance Supplier Invoice Authorize Advance Supplier Invoice Made payment to Advance Supplier Invoice Create Supplier Invoice, RMB on the invoice header & select Advance invoice Then select the paid advance invoice & save. Connect Oracle Client 12 to Crystal Reports 2016

I’m attempting to set up Crystal Reports 2016 so I can connect to the IFS Oracle database (Apps 9). I’m using Oracle Client 12. Firstly, I have not seen anyplace where it is specified the normal tnsnames.org file location for Oracle Client 12. Everything says “ORACLE_HOME” (which I understand means whatever the home directory is not a directory literally named “ORACLE_HOME”) /network/admin. There is no network OR admin folder in the Oracle directory. To use SQL Developer, I don’t need that anyway, because I can just directly load a tnsnames.ora file. But then Crystal reports… I have googled seven ways from Sunday and cannot figure out how the heck to associate the TNS file with Crystal Reports. When I go to “Database Expert”, I have an option for “Oracle Server”, but no matter what values I use (and I know they’re the correct values b/c I can connect with them in SQL Developer), I can’t connect. No one here is very savvy at this so there is no one I can ask. Help! Thank you!

Hi, How do we set the status “Scrapped” on Design Objects? When we try to do that, we get the message “This state change is not allowed when the operational status is In Operation”.And the Operational Status seems to be read-only. Thanks in advance!

FSM 5.7 - Assign Workflow to a Button

Hello,Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.I have created a Workflow and would like to deploy to screen so it launches on a button click.How do you do that?I can see in the FSM Reference Documentation the following: Button. You can create a button to execute a workflow using the UI Designer. You add a workflow button to a screen customization and then attach one or more workflows using the edit workflow group feature. You can run a new instance of a workflow or complete a workflow instance that is preserved. I cannot see in the UI Designer, or other screens anything referring to an ‘edit workflow group feature’. Any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated. RegardsAdy

I am getting the error below when creating a Project Invoice off of an Invoicing Plan. It doesn’t happen on all customers in this company, and the ones it’s not working on are being invoiced through the regular Customer Invoice process in Production. Any ideas what to check?

Onboarding Assignment Configuration does not work correctly

Hi all,I am trying to set up the Onboarding Assignment Configuration and have assigned one Onboarding Program Template to be triggered on only Employee Category. I have placed it in the top of the list which should meen that this template should be choosen first if there is a match (In this case it should be triggered if Employee Category is equal to Konsult).But in New Employment assistant IFS pick the second one in the list. Does anyone know if this is a Bug or am I missing anything in the configuration-page?Best regards, Josefin

Routing Phase Out Date alert

Hello all, I am currently looking into a way to create an Event Action to notify a user via Streams that a Routing is approaching a Phase Out Date. I’m not quite sure how to do this, as there does not appear to be a way to trigger the the Event. The Phase Out Date would already have the date and it would not be updating, simply lapsing. In the screen shot below, Ideally a Streams notice could be triggered to send 7 days prior to 3/31/2021. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

IEE Custom that redirects to an Aurena page

Hi! Can anyone help me with this?A customer have developed a custom inside Business Opportunities form that points to a Aurena survey page (example: https://XXXX.com.br:56090/main/ifsapplications/web/assistant/EmpSurvey/Survey;$id=SurveyId:LAF_COM_DIAGNOSTICO_,CompanyId:01...)When they open this URL ‘internally (using IEE) we get the error below. when we try to open it ‘externally’ using our own browser, it opens without any problem.Is it possible to open Aurena pages inside IEE? We’re running IFS V10 UPD9 and I’ve set Edge and Chrome as default browser (and Aurena is supported by them) and could not solve this problem.OBS.: Internet Support Center page opens normally inside IEE.Thanks!

Difference between Generating and Usable Document Repository

Hello, We’re running the IFS Change Document Repository process in IFS Apps 9. In the ‘Move from Repository’ dropdown, it shows only those repositories that have status set to Usable. Similarly, in the ‘Move to Repository’ dropdown, it shows only those repositories that have status set to Generating. What is the meaning of a Usable vs a Generating repository?

Integration Schedule - Red Lights - Wont Run

Not sure what triggered this but all the lights in the monitor schedule screen have turned red. If i click Run Now they will run and generate the appropriate results. However we need these to run automatically as scheduled.Made sure all appropriate services were running on the server.The “Next Run” shows as yesterday Appreciate the help!
