Hi All,Customer have different user groups for eg. AP, AR, BILLING etc.  So is there a way we can default the document class when specific user group tries to create a document ?  For eg. when AP creates a document, can the document class defaults to INVOICE and if AR creates it then defaults to VOUCHER etc.I assume the document default value setup is enterprise level.  So what is happening now is that the document class always defaults to 'INVOICE' for all the users because our document basic setup default value is 'INVOICE'.   Each user user group has to take an extra step to change the document class when they try to create a document and Customer is trying to minimize that step. Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

I have upgraded our UAT environment (v15.2) with data from our live environment (v12.5). After running the upgrade utility, there are some additional SQL scripts that need run. Is there a comprehensive lists of scripts?Right now we have problems with mobile, and the error message reads:Error in DBAdapter.RunQuery: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "fk_tax_ln_tax_rate_1". Looking for a way to create a new employee into IFS 9 programmatically. There doesn’t seem to be any BizApis to call to do this and was wondering is someone else faced this issue or how to do it. Company uses a HCM system as the SOR and wanting to create this person automatically into IFS9. I have been able to get a message into IFS9 but after that I am stumped as I am not an IFS pro. Other thoughts have been to create a procedure wrapper to call either a package to insert the data into tables directly but I always fear missing a db constraint.

I have come across a below business situation with a MRO customer. Appreciate your suggestions here.In MRO process, through disposition shop order, a business user created an external service repair order (PO with order code 06) which creates the component customer order. Unfortunately, user cancelled the originally created customer order line and added a new CO line and shipped out the parts for repair with new CO line.Now, the PO cannot be received and throwing error “Not enough components are shipped out to receive……”.Question 01: Is there a way to link back the new CO line with originally created PO ?Question 02: There is a way to receive back the part to inventory using order code 01 PO. But, my worry is about service cost associated with that order code 06 PO and what to do with that PO further? and how to cancel it further?Issue exists in App8, App9, App10.

Hi ,Conditional Fields is not working in one of the customer's APPS10 Environment.It gives below error View [MATERIAL_REQUISITION] not found in the dictionary.I have refreshed the Dictionary Cache using the IFS Refresh Cache option.But it's not resolved the issue.Can anyone help on this?Best Regards-Kelum

Hi, in our customer’s TEST environment;1. Create a CRO line with minimum 2 quantities and release it for disposition shop order. Part should be condition code enabled. CO should be created with CRO at the beginning.2. Create two DSO lines where one is for internal repair order and other one is for external service order.3. Complete the internal repair order.4. Internal repair order is received with condition code ‘USED’ as illustrated below. Serial No = E1.5. Serial E1 is now reserved in CRO’s customer order.6. Now process the 2nd DSO line for external repair order.7. As illustrated below, Serial E2 is received in inventory with condition code OVH.8. But, customer order failed to reserve the 2nd serial, since it has different condition code.Check the reserved qty field of the CO. Only a qty of 1 is reserved. Is there a fix available for the issue?

We have a table in UI designer but we do not have screen for that UI designer table in the Menu. How can we use that table to get a screen on the Menu ?

Hi,Is there a way in standard  to populate  automatically the authorize tab  with the authorizer?The users don’t want spend time to add  the authorize line on authorize tab, they just whant to approuve it.Thanks   

Hope someone could help me with the following. When I try to book an invoice through the Manual Supplier Invoice and leave the PO Ref field blank and I want to match against a open PO that has still Quantity left, IFS10 doesnt show me a list of open PO's that have Received Quantity when I try Match PO receipts… How do I fix this?  

Hello all, I have noticed a clocking issue with regard to Labor and Machine clocking. We have often times where a user is clocked on to a Shop Order. They will forget to clock out of the SO and simply clock out of Time Clock. This will result in their labor being stopped for the SO, but not the machine time. This is leading to very large Shop Order variances, as the machine will remain clocked in for potentially days at a time.  I have been looking through Site and Work Center settings hoping to find a way to for machine time to stop when labor time is stopped, but I have not found anything. Is there a way to set this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all - are there short keys to zooming in/out in Astea browser (like Ctrl +/Ctrl - in Internet Explorer)? 

I can look up a PO’s attachments on part order lines and they are listed in Attachments, but then I go over to no part order lines tab, and then back to part order lines, the attachments are gone.  Not sure why this is happening.  Strangely,  I can re-search the PO again and they come back into view in the Attachments pane.  Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what appeared to be the issue?  This just recently started happening and is affecting all buyers.

Hi I tried to setu up the Parameters for Selecting the compan and customer group.  Now i can only choose one customer group at the time. I would like to enter values like between or choosing several different customer group like in IFS for example: customer group 140;150;190;110 etc. I also would like to know how to setup the AR Balance. This means i would like to enter parameters here such as >0 >=0 and so on. Is this possible? If Yes is there a some kind of Setup document for this particular request? I have a Powerpoint for the BR but it doesnt tell you how I setup the above Requirement. Best RegardsSophal

Hi All,I have created a Custom Logical Unit and wanted to connect it with Support Key window. The requirement is connecting Customer ID and Support Key Description fields as keys.In Custom LU, Customer ID field is a reference type field and using same LOV reference which is using in Support Key window’ customer No field.When I try to create a new tab, it doesn’t show the Customer ID field (CF$_CUSTOMER_ID) in list, so I tried to manually write the field name in order to see the error message. Then I got this error :ORA-20105: The connected key CF$_CUSTOMER_ID is a custom reference and cannot be used in a parent key connection.How should I create the Customer ID field in Custom LU?Should it be a Text Type Persistent field without any reference?Please advise me.
