ORA-20112 error on Incoming Customer Orders

We are experiencing a large number of stopped Incoming Customer Orders during our scheduled file import each morning, across multiple customers with the error message: ORA-20112: CustomerOrder.EXIST2: The Customer Order object already exists. These orders do not already exist, and if the user RMB > Approves the order from Incoming Customer Order, it will approve the error without any prior action needed. We have previously submitted this issue to IFS, and they were not able to recreate in their environment - leaving us without answers. I was able to recreate this error in our TEST environment, using our incoming prod orders from today, and I resubmitted a case to IFS - but looking to see if anyone else has experienced this error?

Aurena Lobby Navigation with Parameters

A customer needs to implement a lobby which navigates to another lobby. They need to pass a couple of fields from the first lobby to filter data in the second lobby. It appears that this functionality is not working in Aurena. Has anyone come across this scenario with another customer? Thanks

Context substitution variable in Aurena lobby page parameter - Apps10 UPD7 vs UPD9

We have some Aurena lobbies that use the context substitution variable #PERSON_ID# as the default value for the page parameter so that the lobby elements are by default based on the logged on user. In Apps 10 UPD7 this works fine with no discernable performance issues. After installing UPD9 we find that use of the context substitution variable causes elements to update slower or not at all (after a long delay), but typing in the person ID restores the performance to normal. Has anyone else experienced this issue and/or does anyone know if the use of context substitution variables on Aurena pages has changed for UPD9? Thanks!

Event Action email formatting

Hello all, I’m attempting to format an Event Action email with return carriages. I assumed that it would be formatted similar to how a Streams notice is, but that does not appear to be the case. Is it possible to create formatted messages in email notifications from Event Actions? I did not see anything in the help section that indicated special formatting was required.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Event formattingemailed output is single line:

Adding to an FA Object Through PO Receipt

Hello, I am hoping someone can assist or shed light on an issue I am struggling with: I created an FA Object then successfully set its acquisition value ($1,000) through a PO and subsequent PO receipt. I then activated the object. I then increased its value by $10 via a supplier invoice but with no PO. After posting the invoice, I activated this additional investment via the Add Investment - Progress window. Now I would like to increase its value by $100, but this time via a PO receipt. So I entered a PO, assigned it the same FA Object ID, then received, ran transfers and updated the GL. However, when looking at my Distribution and Manufacturing Postings Analysis, I get this error: “You have specified an object with wrong status.” This suggests that the object shouldn’t be in a non Active state for the postings to go through. So I tried to deactivate the object, but get an error message: “There are active transactions that needs to be rolled back before deactivating the object.” This

Default Value in a Pre-Posting?

Is there any way to have a default value in a pre-posting? There are some LUs where I’d like to pre-post a fixed value, but AC1 is not an option. In those situations, is there any way to default in the value in the pre-posting screen?

IAL - Insufficient Privileges

I did simple IAL and deployed it..When I try to select * from ifsinfo.Get_Total_Additional_Hours - I get the below error.. IFSINFO has access to all other IAL tables.. so that isn’t a problem here I guess. Below is the IAL that was deployed.. Any idea what am I missing ? Regards,Rajesh.N

Question on Export Control

HelloWe are discussing about implementing Export Control in IFS 10.9 that we are using right now. Did a few tests with regards to PO and CO. Can anyone advise how does Export Control work with RMA (a test plan world be ideal - is it similar to CO? Denied Parties have to be excluded?) DocMan before releasing a PO / CO, authorization by the Procurement / Sales Manager is mandatory in our business. In that case, do you think checking for Import / Export License can also be done during the authorization? FSM Multiple environment installation overwrites the existing/ previous installation.

I am trying to install multiple environments of FSM application to the computer and it overrides the previous installation so that I cannot use the multiple applications together. As a workaround I need to install the environments again and again to use them. Lets say I have FSM DEV and FSM TEST environments and when I try to install the both, always it gets overridden by the new installation. I know we can have separate installed applications for both of them but I do not know how. Could anyone please guide me on this? Thank you so much in advance.

"The view for this page and logical unit do not match" - any solution exists?

In some of IFS objects it’s not possible to add custom fields due to error messageError message appearing when trying to add Custom Field in Part Catalog → ECO-footprint Part InformationIs it so, because it’s case-sensitive? In the logical unit the view is written uppercase, but in data source properties it’s written with initial capital letters.base view written UPPERCASEdata source view written Initial Capital letters Is it the issue with letter case?Is there any workaround for this error?/Wiktor

How to reverse an Aurnea page's built in status (ex: Active -> Preliminary)

I have a question regarding IFS’ built in status’ and if there was a way to reverse the status (state) workflow.For example, the Change Request page has 4 built in states, ‘Preliminary’, ‘Active’, ‘Processed’, and ‘Cancelled’. We are trying to find a way to reverse a Change Request’s status from Processed to Active, or Active to Preliminary.Is there an out-of-the-box way to accomplish this?Is there a way to reverse the status using API calls with a Custom Action?I did attempt to modify the state of the Change Request using the ECO_REQUEST_API.Modify__ (info_, objid_, objversion_, attr_, action_); API call, but was unable to succefully change the state this way.We are using IFS10 UPD10. I have two CF that are referencing two custom logical units. The CF’s are in the same page.In the list of values of the second CF I would like to create a saved search and in the where clause for the search use values from what is selected in the first CF before it is saved.Is that possible?BR Kresten

Inventory Part In Stock - Open Purchase Orders

Hi All,I’m looking for a stock/inventory overview screen much like MMBE in SAP for those who have used the system.Does IFS have this? I usually use “Inventory Part In Stock” to search for inventory but I would like to be able to see if there are any open purchase orders for the inventory at the same time. Is there a screen that will show me what’s in stock, Bin Location, Reserved Qty, Open Purchase orders etc??Thanks

FSM 6 - Upload to SFTP Server

Hello everyone, I have a client requirement that specifies that the attachments made on a Request/Task should be sent to an SFTP server. Besides the hostname and credentials, what is needed to upload the files to their server? When configuring a Monitor Schedule of the type ‘Process (S)FTP Upload’, the 'File and Folder options’ are referring to the IFS folder structure or the SFTP Server? If it is IFS, how do I know which folders should be used, besides the Attachment Directory defined in the App Params? Thanks in advance for you attention. Best Regards.

Report Definition - Set Default Life Time - What does the Default 0 mean

Report Definition RMB> Set Default Life Time The number of days to keep records in the archive. This is a default value and users may change the archive life time. If the default setting is 0 does this mean that after today the report will not longer appear in the report archive. Can someone please advise what is the Default setting of 0 means. Finally, does this mean that users that create Business Reporter reports will need access to Report Definition to set this value? Thank you.

Aurena limit Values Displayed in Drop Down

In IEE I have a drop down menu that should have its contents filtered based on the content of another drop down. To do this in IEE: Navigate to the screen to be configuredRight click on pageSelect Conditional Fields… from the context menuSelect the fieldAdd Value SetPlace a check next to the fields I want displayedSet the Type, Column, Operator, and Value And then in IEE when I select the specified value in the drop down then the first drop down menu is filtered to only the fields that had a check mark next to them on the Conditional Field Actions dialog. This is working great in IEE. When I go into Aurena I expected the conditional field config to apply to the page in Aurena as well. When I set the second drop down to the value that is configured in the Conditional Field Actions the first drop down has all of the fields listed instead of the filtered list. Does Aurena Support Conditional Field configuration and if so how do I configure it? I am on IFS 10 update 7. Thanks, Gene
