IFSAPP10 ? Receipt We see a functionality (RMB function) for changing Lot Batch No (RMB in Receipt), but it is always disabled.Why is this happening?

Hello Community, I need help to understand the default setup for Moving average period set-up in Demand Plan server. I have default set to 6 periods, but in demand plan client if I check under each parts Moving average period is 1 and due to that system forecast shows 0 all over the board. Can someone put some light on this if I am missing anything during server set-up?

Hi all.I have a question about Request for Order Quotation.Purchase Requisition created from IFS DOP Order cannot create a Request for Order Quotation.It seems that this is the functional restrictions of IFS.I'm being asked by a customer why can't make an Order Quotation from DOP Order.I want to know the reason, and please let me know if there is a case where a customer who has implemented IFS create Order Quotation from DOP Order. Thanks & Best Regards.

Hello, IFS community.Our company has four sites; each of the sites shares the same EU_ROLES permissions.I wonder if there is a way to set up one of the sites to be read-only access to IFS or read-only to  Inventory Transactions, Customer Order, WO without me recreating all the permission set manually?I will appreciate your advice.Thanks,JL

Hi, does anyone know where the setting for default delivery address might lie? I have checked all manner of “settings” or “options” modules within Alliance (we are on V15) but unable to figure out if or where this setting might be. We’d prefer to use “warehouse” rather than “Site” 

I have created a quick report in IFS. I need to display the updated records as well as the old records of Vendor bank details on the same report. Currently, the History Log only show the meta data but not the actual changed value. And If I run payment table, it only shows changed value. Is there any way I can display the actual changes and the old value?Is there any table/db that holds the original data?

 How do I send an email the results of a quick report run in IFS Cloud?In IFS10, it was realized by the function of the application server task.With IFS Cloud, the application server task has been deprecated and the same is no longer possible. Please let me know if there is an alternative method that can be realized with IFS Cloud. Thank you.

Using a non-inventory sales part on a customer order line, is it possible to RMB to Order Line Details > Order Line Discount to update the discount on this type of part number? In App9 I’m currently unable to because it is grayed out. It is available on a customer order line with a sales part number entered. We are unsure if this is an access issue or set up this way.  We have a preference to use RMB option as we can choose the Discount Type which has certain General Ledger set up associated with it. Manually entering into the Discount % column will calculate the discount but not flow into our general ledger appropriately.Thank you ~

Hello! We’re trying to call Crystal Web Services via the URL Custom Menu Action in IFS 8. Currently I can render the report using the following URL syntax: “http://CWS_SERVER_NAME/qrn/cr1.aspx?rpt=report_name.rpt” The custom menu operates as expected, but we would like to grab a field value off of the IFS form and pass it along to Crystal Web Services, much like we would with a PL/SQL action or otherwise. Does the (I assume) IFS developed CR1.ASPX page support the passing of parameters? If so, what is the syntax? Hi All, During our implementation we created custom Move Tickets and Barcode labels to identify product on our Shop Floor. The reports and labels essentially contain the Part Number, Description, Revision, Qty, Operation Sequence, Next Operation Sequence, Work Center, and Shop Order number. We have the PN and SO barcoded on the reports as well. Ideally, if possible, i would like to make use of the standard IFS warehouse labeling reports. However, it appears that the only options would be to print the Shop Order Reports (Work Instruction Report, Shop Order Report). My question is - are these the only reports in IFS that can be used to label product that is being produced? How would work in progress be labeled to indicate where the next WC location the material should be taken to for additional processing? Any guidance would be appreciated. 

I’m redoing our customizations and have a difference in behavior. We’re on V15.3.1Because of a reported error, we first have to customize the Title before adding Customized Fields. Doing that I cannot select the Style of the added fields, only of the added text.That was surely the case we did the first customization:How can I addapt the style ?Additional question, is there a possebility to sort the fields alphabetically in the drop down selection list? Now it is difficult to find the needed field.

Hi All,When using ‘Pick by Choice’ option, it allows you to pick any quantity, provided there is enough stock. This is fine when the ‘Qty to Pick’ is less that what's on the CO ‘Sales Quantity’. But, when the  ‘Qty to Pick’ is higher than what's on the CO ‘Sales Quantity’, this results in additional goods being delivered and thus invoiced to the customer which is quite a mess.Is there a way to restrict this from happening?At least a warning message saying that more quantity is being picked than what's mentioned on the CO would make the picker think twice. Isn’t it?Any thoughts/ideas to cater this requirement?Thanks,Arunalu

Hello, I would like to connect Shop Order, Work Center, Supplier to Quality Audit screen as an object.  What should I enter into service list field which is available on object connection screen ?  ShopOrd is currently connected with NCR as an object but I would like to connect it to Quality Audit Screen as well.  Can you please help ? Thank you.

Hello, I am trying to connect a control plan for a shop order which is pegged from customer order. IFS is showing me an error that “Cannot connect control plan to this shop order” . Is it a bug or standard functionality ?  We need our QA team to inspect and enter analysis for customer orders created to address quality issues. Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi,In Inventory Part in stock, items are showing as reserved  in the ‘Reserved Qty’, when I do RMB click ‘View Reservation’ there is no source data is populated.Now the stock got struck in the system and unable to unreserve without knowing the source.What would be the reason?Have anyone faced this issue before?Kind Regards,Thanga.
