Looking for some code that will output an expanded bill of material.  APP10 UPD5

I know it’s a year later but this answer was extremely helpful to me with our complicated multilevel BOMs as well as our customer-facing team’s access to at-a-glance scenarios - I knew we had all the info, just didn’t know how to access it efficiently - thanks Mats!

Hi Elaine,

I’m not 100% sure what you are asking for. Anyway here we go...

Perhaps you should test the screen Part Cost / Structure Multilevel. Of course this requires that you have calculated cost for your part.

or use the screen Multilevel Availability Check.

In the Multilevel Availability Check screen:

  1. query for the part
  2. enter a 0 qty and a need date a few days out
  3. then select Show All Levels
  4. press Calculate

...and then in the mid portion of the screen an indented multilevel BOM will show up :-)

I dunno if this is useful or not for you

-Mats

Hi Mats,

This helps, not 100% what is needed but a step in the right direction.

Thanks, Elaine
