My company is new to IFS Cloud. We are working on our Chart of Accounts...ideally we would like to keep the Chart of Accounts we currently have user for the past few decades and not redo it, basically for easier reporting and history. We are being told we should not and I am looking for opinions and to see if others have kept their COA when making the switch or just changed them sparingly.Please advise 

How to add a view file to a document revision? Customer has an original DWG file stored to a document revision and they need to have a PDF file as view copy.

In the Customer Order screen, you can set up a subscription in the Header for certain fields.However, the subscription option is not enabled for the order line details - is there any way this can be enabled? 

Hi Everyone,  I was wondering if anyone else has come across issues when creating custom information sources and dimensions. When ever i create one from an IAL i find the filters in business reports utility don’t seem to work and i end up filtering my fields in the IAL before converting it to info source.  If anyone else has a solution or idea for me to try please feel free to let me know. ThanksCameron

Dear community,I am using use Customer orders with line supply code Purch Order Trans.What I would like to do is to connect the customer order with an existing purchase order.This can be achieved with regular functionality, however, despite I can connect customer order with an existing Purchase order Header, the result of the opération is always the creation of a new purchase order line inside the purchase order.Is there a way to connect directly the customer order with the existing Purchase order header an Purchase order line? Best RegardsRémi Lheure

We have a customer who is getting "An entry with same key already exists" error on Equipment object navigator > PM action page and Functional object >spare parts page. Whenever they get the error they delete the “ColOrder” value from user profile and that solves the issue. But the problem is after some time they get the error back. They have no idea on what kind of behaviors cause this error to be back. They are looking for a permanent solution for this. What could be the reason for this error to reappear? I have already referred below thread but it does not mention any reasons for this error to reappear.  

Hi community, Customer is upgrading to Apps 10 UPD 12. During the upgrade following DB Locks has prevented the upgrade and took around 5 hours to complete.   Upon a knowledge search, and confirmed with customer that,no modifications made to the Foundation role “TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME” 'TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME' role has not 'Fndmob_Installation_API' granted  Customer has seen this on all upgrades made in Apps 10 for them so far,Does anyone know a possible reason for this and possible solutions?  

Hi community,Using Azure AD for authentication.I have two questions.What’s the behavior of the system, after expiring the session ID which has a limit of default 30 min? Will a new Session ID generated and client stay connected or should the client/user has to login again?  Is there any way to extend the lifetime of 30mins session? Appreciate any input.  /Nimesh

Hi  User cannot see payroll postings of specific employees. IFSAPP user ID can see all postings. Since user can see other employees’ postings, this cannot be an access issue or posting issue. Kindly assist on this.   Thanks in Advance 

I am trying to create a MTD sales summary for a Lobby.  We have two companies.  One uses USD and the other uses Korean KRW.  We have currency rates in the system for the conversion of USD to KRW.  Is there an api to get the currently active exchange rate?

Hi!I have created a new custom tab/page with three attributes, one of should be referred from ISO_COUNTRY but getting this kind of error when trying to approve it  “The ROWKEY functionality is not enabled on the Logical Unit "IsoCountry", referenced from attribute "RIN_COUNTRY" on the Logical Unit "RinCodes".”This page were showing prod_no, rin_code and rin_country. How this should be done that I could use this ISO_COUNTY list? 

I scheduled an IAL to run on the last day of the month at 4:15:00 PM. (trunc(last_day(sysdate()) + 16.25/24). It started at the correct date and time, but when I look at the background jobs for the day, I find that it ran every 10 minutes after that for about 8 hours. Then it stopped.  It rescheduled itself for 11/30/2022 4:15:00 PM. You can see from the screen shot below that the last time it ran was at 12:05:27 AM on 11/1/2022.What would cause it to continue to execute every 10 minutes for 8 hours?What can I look at? None of the logs show any errors. 

We are looking for an alternative to create parts. (APPS 10, Upd 11)I like the New Part Assistant wizard, but it does not cover all our needs.Does anyone have experience with part creation using a custom page or using an own wizard (not sure, if this is possible at all).Our target is to use templates per Divisions and ask the user to enter only the required and relevant data. This should be as simple as possible, as the users who need to create a customer order and need a sales part for this, are not aware of all needs of part data.I also know about the option to create parts using assortments, but for certain fields the default values are not generic enough for our needs.Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina

We have certain customers with limited access (such as airports), where the SAs need to have clearance to get in. We need to have a way to see this when we assign an order in Dispatch Console. What is the best way to set up and maintain this in Alliance? We may have several SAs with access. And we would also cases where we can assigne a SA without access (if other SAs are unavailable) - but we then need to know that we need to book eg. supervision for the SA.Is skills the way to go? Handling this on Site-level would be preferred

We just completed our first physical inventory in IFS 10. When I created a count report, I realized that it only had 640 inventory part numbers. Our system actually has 1399 part numbers. The result was that I had physical counts and no line to report them to. I discovered that lots of parts had been created with someone clicking the “Cycle Counting” box. Last night I did a mass update to change everything to countable. However, this morning, the new count report still only has 640 items. What am I missing?

Hi,We have deployed drone-assisted technology to assist in collecting high quality data during close-up inspections when entering hazardous areas such as confined spaces. We also have been using ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) for getting different measurements in offshore vessels operating in oil and gas related operations.We are now exploring ways of getting these data to IFS. It would be great to know If someone already has experience in this area, and the different solutions used.We are in APP10 UPD15. 

HiWe get the following error on the Project History Info → Summary → Revenue after we added custom fields.  In this screenshot RR Actual is a custom field, just a simple persistent number field. The field itself has no select so it cant be failingIs this an error or is it simply not intended for new fields to be added here?Best Regards
