I have question regarding Planning Method B and On Hand quantities.We use planning method B for inventory management on higher volume items. When a customer order line is entered using “Invent Order” as the Supply Code, the parts from stock are reserved. This makes the On Hand Qty remain the same (until shipping the stock, if I understand correctly) and the Availably Qty drop.The issue I have is the Order Proposal is triggered by the On Hand Qty falling below the Order Point, rather than the Available Qty. So if I have 6 months lead time, by the time the On Hand Qty drops below the Order Point, I might already be too late to purchase more stock to avoid back order.Could perhaps someone explain the replenishment process behind Planning Method B and why it uses On Hand Qty instead of Available Qty?Thank you!

Indeed, using a tool like Postman, IFS calls this web service :  It looks like IFS is calling 2 entity sets. Unfortunately I can't enter 2 in the BPA configuration.Thanks in advance. 

Hi We have a need to be able to make certain attached documents on invoices available for Audit purposes. The process today involves members of bookkeeping manually finding the invoices, then finding the attached documents of a specific Class, then going to doc rev, then viewing the document as going to save as in word to save the document in a specific shared folder. For hundreds of documentsGiven the invoices from bookkeping, it is simple enough to find the attached documents, but how can i extract copies, not the originals, from IFS? Some of the doc Class are saved in the database repository and some in an FTP. Best Regards

Is it possible to add an administrator group for a PM action? It can be observed that this is possible for both PM Program and Work Task Templates. When going to the PM Planning lobby, there are "My PM Programs" and "My Work Task Templates".  The aim is to see the PM actions, for which a particular maintenance engineer is responsible. 

Hello All, Looking for some guidance on database size and overall data cleardown in some of the tables.   We have been in the system for 20months now and the database is at 2Tb, not massive in the grand scheme of things but need to know potential size moving forwards as well as ways of managing the size of the database so it doesnt continue to grow uncontrolably.   As far as I can see we can clear some old data in a select number of tables but this doesnt have much of a substancial impact on the overall size. These tables being shop order clocking and lines.   Assistance and experience is appreciated   Thanks Mike

Hello,We’ve recently enable AAD authentication for our test environment in IFS 10 UPD9. Is it possible to use Oracle accounts in IFS still with AAD enabled? If so, how do we authenticate the Oracle accounts with SSO?

Right now if you select multiple parts and move to TT, it creates different TT for each part. We would like to have all selected lines under one TT. We usually do not have our parts ‘Serialized’ but if there is a Serialized part maybe it can create a different TT for the serialize part and one TT for the non-serialized part. Has anyone come up with a way of doing the above request?

I have created a counter element for one of my Aurena Lobbies. This element works in IEE but not in Aurena. The counter populates the correct number in Aurena but when I click on the element, I get a Server Error when it is trying to filter out using my data source condition on the Business Opportunities screen. Something to note, I am including a custom lu table in my query. This is the query I am using in the data source. Hello,I’m wondering if it’s possible to adjust the future due dates on a PM action with Performed Date Based set to Yes without a new work task being created/completed? Every time I try to manually change the due date on a line in the maintenance plan, the system won’t change any future suggestions. We’re running apps 10 update 13.A little background on the specific scenario:The PM generated a work order for 10/5/22, but because it falls during a major outage at the plant, it was decided to skip this instance and perform the maintenance when the unit is back online. The WO for 10/5/22 ended up being cancelled. The major outage will be completed by 12/12/22, so we want to adjust the next due date for this PM to line up with that date. I can manually adjust the due date for the next maintenance plan line and save, but the rest of the due dates don’t adjust. The Earliest Start, Latest Finish, and Remaining to Due fields also remain the same for the original due date. I’ve also tried chang

The Repair Order Price Type field needs to retain the type selected by the Component Repair Analyst and not change to “Confirmed” when the order is received.  Once the CRA validates the service with the vendor that matches the price paid these should remain on the order and not automatically be changed by the system.  The field currently changes to confirmed on receipt. Need to validate the Price Type field is a text field Need to expand the Price Type field to include all services: Test, Inspect, Calibration, Minor Repair, Std Repair, Major Repair, Overhaul, Modification, RAI

For this I inserted the character like this in a column in RDF file -Xml_Record_Writer_SYS.Add_Element(xml$_, 'CHECKMARK', 'RK ' || TO_CHAR(UNISTR('\2713')));I also tried simply with UNISTR(‘\2713’) , TO_CHAR(UNISTR(‘\2713’) but none worked.When I printed the report, the character wasn’t showing. When I tried concatenating ‘RK ‘ string before it, only the first string printed -No Checkmark SymbolIs it limitation of report designer not able to print unicode characters? Or is there another way to print such characters? (without using images) Thanks in advance.Rohit.

Hi All, Can anyone please show an example of using NVL2 function parameter in a BR report?  I tried to use NVL but could not get what I wanted. And trying to use NVL2 function parameter, but  not sure what should I enter for the first argument (ValueIfNull). please see the image.&CodeB is a standard parameter for DIM_CODE_B.CODEThe requirement is to get all CodeB values including NULL when the &CodeB leaves blank and the selected CodeB values when &CodeB has a value.Example:when &CodeB = say '45' , the report will only show the records with code_b = 45when &CodeB leaves blank (NULL) then the report will show the records where the code_b of any value plus the code_b IS NULL  Thank you!

Hi All, I’m struggeling to create a list via a Mobile Client Script.I succesfully recieve a Object with data via getDBValues, but I only need one item from that object. So I created a for loop, to go trough the object and store the value in a String, Array or Object (doesn’t matter). Creating a new Array or a Object seems not to work for mobile Als simply extending a var via the += method also not working.Example:var data = getDBValues(stringFormat("SELECT id FROM database_table WHERE type = 'placeholder'"));var arr = new Array();var list = ‘’;for(var i=0; i < data.length; i++) {       arr.push(data[i]['ID']);   list+= data[i]['ID'];} 

We are using IFS 10 UPD7 wherein the Inherit Measurement functionality is not available.Since there are some serial objects which are being moved between equipment's and running hours of the serial object is tracked for maintenance, repair and replacement, it is needed to auto update the measurement readings from the parent object. Would like to know is there any patch available to get this functionality in IFS 10 UPD7 version. Thanks in advance,Siva Ganesh M  

I have problems with an advance invoice that is bigger than the connected Customer Order Invoice. This happened when Customer order was created, Advanced invoice was created and sent to the customer.Thereafter the price for an item on that order was decreased. Order released, shipped. When the invoice is to be created, a posting error is displayed:“ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Sum of offset amounts 10000 cannot exceed gross amount of customer invoice 9500!) occurred while booking Invoice CD 220000074.” According to help text, “Advance invoices can only be prepared for up to one hundred percent of the total value of the order”, in this case the advance invoice is about 105%.I cannot post invoice. Any option to get these posted are of interest, preferably with the difference as POA.Best RegardsDenny

Hi  I am trying to setup an employee schedule for our casual staff where they are scheduled to work a Total 40hrs per week, (5days a week for 10hrs per day), with any additional hrs works they receive as overtimeI.e. if an employee works 43hours, they should receive 3hrs as overtime  Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Wk Total Normal 9 12 12 7 - Overtime - - - 3 - Total 9 12 12 10 - 43  When trying to set this up as a Day type schedule, I can’t seem to get the overtime to calculate correctly, as it is calculating based on the 10hr per day not the total 40hrs per weekI.e. with the above it is calculating 4hrs as overtime I can’t seem to get the Flexible schedule to achieve this either Any help would be hugely appreciatedCheers
