Hi all !I use IFS8 and have a problem now. Could you help me?One user keyin a error part number in Marterial Requisition. Part number is 990001 (non-inventory part) and supply code is purchase order.  User issued all other lines. Then find this line the part number is error. Now user can not delete this line. Then user unissue all lines. Still can not delete this line. And can not close this MR order. How to delete this line or how can I close this order?Thanks in advance!  

Does the .Net Print Agent support printing ZPL to Zebra printers?   We are  moving to IFS Application 10 Update 15.  We are using the java version of the print agent and Socket Server to print ZPL but we’d like to utilize the .NET Print Agents. 

Can the system be set-up for some users to be able to log into IFS on more than one device at a time? We are looking to be able to log onto multiple devices with 1 user account. For example, user logs onto a PC, then a portable tablet to move around a warehouse.

I have stock in Inventory part in internal order transit, the sender site has shipped and delivered the stock into Inventory part in internal order transit but before the incoming despatch advice was completed the purchase order was cancelled. this was all done on a distribution order. I have tried to do a RMA all seems to work until you go to return parts from internal transit where it just wont let you enter any details or quantities.any ideas? I’m happy to just count the stock off and and count back on in demand site but don’t know how. Dave

I have a user trying to create a project, but he gets the error: You do not have privileges to use the “GI_Project_Series_API.Check_Project_In_Series operation for “GI Project Series”. I can’t find this anywhere in the permissions screen.   Can anyone help on this?

Hi,In the mobile app, we have a box in the bottom of the Home screen, with “Important information”. On one of the lines, it says “You have X overdue commitments!” When pushing the hyperlink on the commitments, the CommitmentList screen is opened, however, there are no values in that list.Is there any way to edit this “Important information” box?  Where is the “Overdue commitments” fetched from? Even though the technician has no assigned/commited tasks, there are still some overdue commitments.I saw a different case in the Community where it was referenced to some App Params, but as far as I can see from the documentation, these are only applicable for the “Important information” on the Overview-screen. 

Hi all, I am hoping to clarify an item regarding component qty per assembly in IFS Product Structures. In our environment, we laser cut sheet metal. When setting up the Product Structure, I was hoping to confirm that I am configuring them properly. Below is the current setup I am hoping to validate:Component part: Qty per Assembly - 3(lb)This is essentially the part weight (3lb). Reading the help, that is my assumption as to how it should be setup. I need 3lb of material to produce my part. 1lb of it is the scrap skeleton that is left over after laser cutting the part out.By-Product:steel scrap - 1(lb)This is the skeleton of the part that is left over. In total 4lb of material is used: 3lb is the part and 1lb is the scrap as a result of the laser process, which is then sold. Any guidance eon the setup would be greatly appreciated! 

Hi AllWe are upgrading from Apps9 to Apps10. We have around 400 users globally with roughly max of 250 at any point in time.With Apps9 we have a clustered Application server of two nodes, each node runs two managed servers (and a Admin server and http server), so that is four ManagedServers in total.For simplicity, we have decided to move away from the clustered setup. I am interested in anyone who has a Apps10 single node setup. How many ManagedServers run on your single node Application Server?ThanksMike

Refer to the below scenario Site settings (Refer Image 1)  Reserve material (Automatic reservation) The material reservation has been done from the stock which doesn’t have a handling unit. Even though the highest priority of inventory automatic reservation is given to ‘Earliest Expiration Data’ as in the first image, the system doesn’t reserve quantity from the inventory having the earliest expiration date. The system reserves from the stock having no HU.  (Refer Image 2) However, when the ‘Handling Unit Optimization’ is unchecked in the site setting, the application behaves as intended. Why does the system reserve from stock with no HU when the settings are as above? 

Hi,is there a way to get attachments auto-added to a service order, e. g. by a special customer contract or other service order criteria? currently, there is an excel file which needs to be added to every order of a special type. can we automate this in any way, or is the addition of files only manually possible? thanks & regardsTorsten

I am trying to display a full address in a multi-line custom field. The custom field settings are:read-only text (unformatted) with multi-line enabled The implementation type is a Select Statement to grab and concat the information.  I am using CHR(13) for the carriage return in the select statement.The format expected to be displayed in the custom field is:Address 1City, State, Zip CodeCountry The custom field displays in the information in one line and it seems that the carriage return did not work. However, when I copy and paste the information into notepad, the carriage return is here.Is there a way for a custom field to read a break line or carriage return for multi-line records and, if so, how?

We have some instances where the address zip in Google Maps are incorrect, and can not be validated. In these instances we add the zip to the Zip Codes module in Astea.But I now have an case where even adding a Zip Code here allows me to save the address. I get the dreaded: The zip does not show up during validation:But is added in the Zip Code module:And there is no error in the event log

 System has created an unusual posting error on UNRCPT- (Reverse Receipt for Purchase Order) .  Any Idea about this posting. We have fallowed the usual purchase order receipt cancelation process.  Thank You

Hi,We are starting the journey to IFS Cloud and as part of the potential enhancements it has been suggested that we use Customerville. I am sure IFS will provide a ‘sale pitch’ - but I’m wanting to see if anyone is using it and what their experience with it are. I’ve not seen many posts in the community about it - so that has me a little worried.

What mechanism controls the default screen design? Currently there are two design with multiple revisions, however I am unclear on what controls which screen is used
